I come here every time I visit family specifically for their green Thai tea. I will say, my most recent few visits felt like I was drinking a full sugar bomb. It's become a staple every time I visit my family down in Greensboro so I'm still going to continue ordering from here but definitely request light sugar.

Lovely store with friendly decor and chilled out interior! They had many boards games inside, a chalk wall and some basic Halloween decor. I love how relaxed everything was and it wasn't a mad rush neither in the kitchen nor outside. I Had the taro milk tea and double the love and they were wonderfully refreshing. I personally like milk teas less that fruit teas, so double the love was my fav hands down. Getting here was easy, parking was ample and convenient and the menu was laid out perfectly to help with easy ordering.

Everything was yummy! Both of my little girls love their food!!! Especially the pho!!!

Everything was amazing! Great food, great service, and the vibe there was nice!!! My kids love their food and drinks! They especially love their pho!!!

A delicious spot hiding right off of Market St here in Greensboro! We stopped by Master Tea recently for an afternoon lunch and were very pleasantly impressed!! We opted for two different Banh Mi's, two snacks, and some teas. For the Banh mi's we went with the Bulgogi Beef and Lemongrass Chicken and both were phenomenal. Tons of flavor in the meats themselves and fresh toppings and a good amount of spice from the jalapeños, although I think there could have been a few more to balance the sweetness. We will definitely be ordering these both again! For the snacks, we got the popcorn chicken and corn nuggets! Both were fried to perfection and came with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. Both were tasty and came out hot and fresh as well, will most likely order these again as well. Lastly I went with the Sunset-nada Fruit Tea, a combo of Raspberry tea and a Mango smoothie. This was absolutely wonderful. The perfect drink to cool off in this hot summer heat. We will hands down be coming back to give all of these and more a try!!

My name is Lindsey and I'm addicted to Master Tea! First off this is the best place to get Thai bubble tea on the east coast! They use real Thai tea not powder Thai! I have fallen for the TERAKIYI sandwhich with fresh veggies! Literally eat it 3 times a week. It's so fresh and different. Recently switched to mango strawberry green tea to cut back on sugar and it was delicious too! The overall setting is nice and quiet. Alot of people host meet ups. It's a really nice workspace. Love love love this place

My daughters are obsessed with boba and most weekends we check out one of the local spots to see get their tapioca pearl fix. Master Tea Cafe is a vibe! I love the atmosphere and space they have set up. It's a small unassuming store front off of Market Street but when you walk in it opens up and you feel like you're some place totally different. They have a wide variety of boba drinks, smoothies and fruit teas. My daughter gave the brown sugar boba 5 stars. They also have a food menu which I haven't tried yet but it's on my list to come back and get a few snacky snacks. Bahn Mi and spring rolls sounds oh so tasty! The service is overall good. However, this place can get pretty busy and you might have to wait a bit for your order. You don't have to be bored waiting though. There's a giant chalkboard wall that you can doodle on while you wait. grab a game off the shelf and play with your friends to burn a little time, or take some pictures for your IG. Whatever floats your boba!

The drinks are good, the food is pretty good but overall I don't think it's great, in my opinion. I used to come here a lot when MasterTea first opened in 2018 and drinks were consistent and staff was informative of their menu, but now it's an occasion for me to come visit, and I've noticed drinks are inconsistent at times. I went w/ friends and we all ordered our drinks and banh mi and the wait took a while; probably up to 25 mins. We were fine waiting due to only 2 people working at that time and they told my friend that they had to prep their bulgogi banh mi, so I appreciate the heads up on the communication. They also have plenty of board games so that's a plus! I still like how they have their huge chalk board to write/draw whatever you want and personally I think it adds character to their shop, but the rest of the decor has always been the same and it's kind of over decorated.

A more recent visit and update: Good banh mi, good bubble tea, nothing is great though. I ordered the vegetarian banh mi and a regular Thai tea bubble tea with 25% Sugar. The person taking my order was as kind as can be: asked if mayo was ok on my vegetarian sandwich (yep!) and I thought that was very considerate! Bubble tea came out first: whew sugar. Even with 25% I was blown away a bit. Otherwise, nice flavor and tons of chewy boba. The sandwich was good, albeit petite. The menu said vegetarian ham but this was definitely nice tofu, fried, with a normal amount of mayo and maybe some hoisin sauce. A small amount of tofu, I will say. The carrot daikon mix was light, a few cucumber slivers and maybe a hint of a jalapeño. Could have definitely used more spice. The bread was lovely: exactly the crunch and chew you want with banh mi bread. All in all a nice quick lunch, but don't go super hungry! The atmosphere is cute and insta worthy. Take some photos and enjoy the calm!

We recently stopped by here for lunch. I ordered the lemon grass chicken ban mih and a brown sugar boba milk tea. The sandwich was very good! The lemon grass chicken was seasoned well and packed with flavor. The toppings tasted fresh. We also split the corn nuggets and they were a yummy side! The boba tea was really good as well. This is the perfect spot to grab lunch!

I came backkkkk. Lol in my last review I mentioned coming to catch up on work and trying out a few bites. I did just that. I tried the Caramel Milk Tea with boba. The image is of a regular size cup of this flavor. I thought it was going to be the same size as the last one I had but I'm guessing this may be a special flavor. Anyway, it was delicious. The bites I picked up were popcorn chicken, fried shrimp egg rolls, and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The service was great, I'm not sure if this is a family business but the same folks were working on this visit as well. The ambiance is pretty relaxing. It's a great spot to catch up on work or just come in to sit and enjoy some goodies. The playlist is superb btw, it gives lo-fi vibes.

Match milk tea with boba and 75% sugar hit the spot! I was halfway done with the drink already before remembering to click a picture. Very refreshing and delicious. I got the regular size but will definitely be getting a large next time. This was just a pick up but the interior vibe is quite lovely to relax and have some bubble teas and snacks with friends.

Tried the berry love today and absolutely loved it. Very refreshing and fruity! The shrimp eggrolls were delicious and fresh!

So when I have to run errands, I've been finding myself needing to get a milk tea with boba. This is my second time at this spot and I didn't stay I just got it to go. But it's cute and the caramel milk tea is so good. I love a lot of boba and they give me plenty. I only waited like 1 minute for my milk tea and I noticed the other items on the menu. They do have fruit teas, smoothies, Banh Mi sandwiches and vermicelli bowls. Next time I think I will try one of the sandwiches. Check it out, they have plenty of flavors and teas.

Not really a fair standard, I know, but it's what I prefer. So, for something like pho, with such a rich, meaty broth, and often chock full of meat, I struggle to enjoy it at times, despite my love of spicy, savory foods. This is all to say, I was thrilled to find that Pho Hien Vuong not only has a vegetable option (which most places do), but several combinations of just vegetables or with tofu, in either beef broth or a vegetable broth. I don't see that too often. I went the truly vegetarian route, with tofu and their made-in-house vegetable broth. The broth, despite its distinct lack of meat, was rich, flavorful, and deep. There were an abundance of toppings, and in addition to the included tofu and vegetables, I added jalapeño, bean sprouts, basil, lime, chili crisp, and sriracha. It was a fantastic meal, and while I could not come close to finishing the absolutely massive serving, I enjoyed every bite I did eat. Our server was quick and attentive, despite the restaurant being jam packed with a line out the door (a testament to its popularity, and by extension, its quality and value!). Tables were large enough to spread out on, everything was clean, and the volume level wasn't too bad even with that many people. I see many more visits to Pho Hien Vuong in my future.

An unassuming place from the outside, but a great interior space that is clean and inviting. Couldn't believe how fast service was, and how fast the amazing food came out. It was a weekday lunch, but it filled up quickly, and the well oiled machine was running smoothly in here. The food is top notch. Started with a fresh spring roll that was full of flavor. It was huge, no skimping here. And for $2.50 it's a steal. Went with the lunch shrimp pho for $11.50. Everything for lunch is $9.50-$11.50, and the rest of the menu is also well priced. I couldn't believe the size of this lunch portion. Whoever said size doesn't matter in regard to food is kidding themselves. And the size wasn't the biggest surprise...this was one of the best pho dishes I've ever had! The separate plated bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeños, and lime were unbelievably fresh. The beef broth was full of flavor (choice of chicken broth as well), shrimp perfectly cooked, and noodles delicious. I can't say enough about the extra chili crisp sauce on the side. This is gold. Took the flavor to a whole other level. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. This spot is top notch, and the prices are very affordable, especially given the portion size and top quality food. Go...you won't be disappointed.

That disqualifies it from being a hole-in-the-wall, but owing to its location, it is still a hidden gem. The service remains fast and friendly and the food excellent. For this visit, I forced myself to try something other than their stellar pho and went with a fresh roll and a beef banh mi. The fresh roll, filled with shrimp, noodles, and cucumber, was crisp and paired nicely with a peanut sauce. The banh mi's baguette didn't reach Banh Mi Saigon levels, but in fairness, nothing does. It was still a tasty sandwich, offering plenty of beef and toppings (pickled vegetables, cilantro, and jalapenos) alike. I may not get out to this area of Greensboro very often, but when I do, Jakjin is my go-to lunch option. Do yourself a favor and make it yours as well.

The filling was nice but the texture was again something that wasn't my favorite so my husband got to eat it all by himself. We got a Che(dessert in Vietnamese) from the reach in refrigerator that was delicious. Later, we came back for Banh Mi. We ordered the #4 with Pork and the #5 New Orleans which was chunks of more savory roasted pork. The two Banh Mi were similar but when I tasted the meat it had distinct flavor differences. Almost everything on the extensive menu is $11 or less, and many in the range of $6-$7 including my sandwich and spring rolls. When you're paying $15-$20 at many other places for the same thing, you can see the value here. Compare this to the rising costs in the fast food industry for significantly less quality food, and you can consider this a steal. Great spot for a quick lunch, takeout, or dinner with a few friends and family at a place that doesn't break the bank.
