Respectfully, I can't justify waiting nearly two hours with a confirmed reservation for a large party and if it wasn't for my cousins special day I would not have stayed. The ambiance and aesthetic is on point and this indoor out door restaurant is huge and af (people were arriving by the car load non stop). Helpful Tip: ticket times were impressive. Our food arrived within minutes of ordering. The chicken biscuit was underwhelming and there was no flavor profile at All and it was warm in temp for a fried item. The grits were perfect! Would I voluntarily wait two hours again nope but I would consider coming back in the future with hopes of a five star experience

Monday gets really busy so I would suggest you make a reservation. Even though we did, we did still have to wait a little bit for our table to be cleared. Very lively restaurant and perfectly suits a nicer brunch vibe. I really enjoyed the frozen margarita flight I got. The flavors were fantastic. Favorite may have been the blueberry. Sweet potato beignets are actually not sweet at all - without the sauce. I think that's what carries most of the dish. I can't say I would get them again, but I wouldn't say don't try them.

absolutely amazing my favorite had to been the beignets & the oysters. they tasted sooooo flavorful packed with flavor! this is what i came to new orleans for. amazing

This was my third time here. The food was hot and the portion sizes are good. However, compared to the last two times (a while back), the gumbo lacked as much flavor. To my surprise, it did come with a large grilled cheese. I realize I didn't specify that I wanted the small gumbo when ordering so I received and was charged for the large one. The Chicken Alfredo pasta was decent. I would have enjoyed an iced tea with it but the bartender never got back with me about the types of sweeteners on hand.

It was packed this day I went, on this day they were very efficient and the restaurant is definitely bigger than what I was initially able to see just from outside. The dip was OKAY. The catfish platter didn't necessarily blow me away, but it definitely something that reminds me of a Sunday after church situation. I'd like to come back and explore the menu more. Definitely worth the trip.

The number of times I've been here, can't believe this is my first review! The atmosphere is different, and I love it! It gives some type of garden oasis, but it's a really nice outdoor patio concept. The food is amazing, and service is great. I've had a number of items on the menu, but the salmon burger is definitely a top choice. Boudin eggrolls are soooo good, and the drinks are always just right. My favorite is the pineapple sage julep. The only thing I would drop a star for is the amount of flies. It's expected considering dining is outdoors and warm weather but still a little annoyance ... but it doesn't stop me from going back lol

Had such a great time and the sister restaurant we decided to visit here as well. We were able to make a reservation in advance so that was nice. Short wait time upon arrival to be seated. There was an option for patio or inside, and we chose inside. Seemed to be a little short staffed as server was covering many tables. Unfortunately, we chose to dine there that evening for the oyster special, but was told they were sold out. We also wee unable to order any frozen cocktails on the menu as well. Ended up getting Gumbo as I rewlly wanted oysters. Out server was MIA was a good 10mins and we couldnt locate her and had to ask another server let her know we neded assistance. The restaurant might have been having an off night as it was highly recommended.

Cocktails are a waste. All the food is good!! The Sweet potato beignets is the true star here.

Server was great! Very knowledgeable and able to provide suggestions. The redfish was seasoned well, love the sauce on the Brussels. Drinks were tasty and discounted for happy hour. Parking is limited but available.

After a medium drive from Houston I wanted to unwind and enjoy a happy hour, and it only felt right to try Monday for my first time on a Monday. This was my first food stop for the night so I kept it light so I had room for a beignet later. I ended up going with the boudin egg rolls and pineapple sage julep to sip on while I watched the game at the bar. The egg rolls were nice and crispy and their house made viet sauce really elevated them! I enjoyed the flavor of the pineapple sage cocktail, I should've had two. My bartender was friendly and attentive throughout my time. Monday has a variety of seating to choose from, a charming outdoor patio as well as indoor and bar seating. It's a nice place to catch a vibe, watch a game, hangout with friends or just people watch. I caught an Uber to avoid the headache of finding legal parking. Next time I'm in NOLA I'll have an entree and leave a more wholesome review. Overall 9/10.

Great restaurant and I'll definitely be back to try some of the other things on the menu. Came in on a Monday and sat outside. The set up is nice and super cute with TVs around the tables. Music selection was on point -- I'd come back for this reason alone lol. They have daily drink and appetizer specials too. I came in with about 5 other people. We ordered a few different things on the menu: half roasted chicken, pasta, but most of the group ordered the bienville, which is what I had. Absolute delicious! Comes with one piece of fried catfish that was perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. The crawfish etoufee that came with it was also delicious and seasoned very well. Initially, I thought the portion size could've been bigger (maybe I was just being greedy because I had heard such great things about the dish lol) but after finishing, I realized it was the perfect amount of food. Not too heavy, and I left feeling satisfied. We also ordered a few sweet potato beignets for the table and yes yes and YES! Sweeter than most of course because of the sweet potato, so I only ate one, but man was it delicious! Tasted like a sweet potato pie and a beignet mixed into one. Will definitely add this to the list of restaurants to visit when I'm in the city. There were so many things on the menu, it was difficult to decide, so I'll need to return to see what else is just as good.

Sunday brunch Hot Spot!! Mondays opens at 11am on Sunday and I highly recommend making reservations. The staff was well prepared to seat all the peeps. We sat outside. Girls brunch for 4. I had the caramel apple lemon drop which was gorgeous and I recommend because the sugar caramel rim was lickable. It was a tad pricey for me, and a friend ordered the mimosa flight for a few more $$ --it was a rainbow of colors and seemed like you get more bang for you bucks with 4 drinks. I had the catfish and grits. Fish was fresh and hot, grits were creamy and smooth. Everyone agreed the grits were some of the best we've ever had. And the best part of the morning, in my opinion, the sweet potato beignets for dessert. They tasted somewhat like a funnel cake and seemed to be made with flaky layers of dough. Mmmm. Making my mouth water thinking about them. Our table also indulged in the shrimp & grits - she rated her shrimp okay and grits phenomenal. Also had an order of lamb chops, grits & asparagus. And the final order was chicken wings and waffle. Wings were crispy & plump and all she left was the bones. The waffle was more than enough to share tastings with friends. We had a delicious meal, service was attentive, and the drinks were packed with flavor....and a punch. Mondays is great for a casual or upscale Sunday brunch.

This was honestly the best restaurant I went to during my state in New Orleans. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and everything was 10 out of 10. I was so full from the appetizers that could not even order an entrée, but I did get to sample the lamb chops & mashed potatoes, which were both good. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. But the star of the show was the sweet potato beignets. I was super excited for these and they did not disappoint. We booked for a hookah experience, but did not see any hookah. The seating was outdoors and they had fans but it was still very hot! I would definitely like to come later in the evening when it's cooler! Customer service was decent.

How do I make a reservation for a large party ? I've called 6 times yesterday nobody picked up?

Hi you can make reservations on open table for parties 6 and under. I had a party of 11 and had to physically go to the restaurant the day before in person to make reservations.

Do they have offered hookah here?

    No, they don't.

Is all day happy hour on Monday only at the bar area and do I need a reservation?

No, it's throughout the whole restaurant. You don't need a reservation.

    Is there a happy hour?

Yes. Happy hour is Wed-Friday from 4pm-7pm

In the restaurant business, we all have a switch: once the doors open, it flips. Until then, you're seeing people exactly as they are. This team is genuine. Hands down. Yes, I know, I'm technically here for a king cake. Standing in line for a king cake from a famous fried chicken company almost feels satirical. But watching the entire team sit down together for a meal an hour before service told me everything I needed to know about the leadership and the values of this company. People matter here. You can see why the sandwiches are as good as they are. You can feel why the king cake is worth the wait. This team operates like a family; kind to one another, intentional, and connected. The food is made with care because the people are cared for. I'm not here to review the food (which is phenomenal) or the king cake. I'm here to review the brand. Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.

We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children (one being only 2 years old), and because of that they changed our table type from a 4-top to a 5-top and made us wait an additional 30 minutes. Meanwhile, multiple tables became available that easily could have accommodated us, but the hostess was determined to keep telling us we had to wait. To make matters worse, there was open bench seating in the back where customers ordering to-go could sit. I offered to order food to-go so we could at least sit down and get started while waiting, and she told me if I did that they would remove our name from the waitlist because "you have to pick one or the other." No willingness to problem solve whatsoever. She repeatedly said she was "sorry," but her actions showed the opposite. I was simply trying to work together to find some reasonable solution instead of continuing to watch everyone else get seated while our family, including small children, kept waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service experience.
