When I contacted DoorDash, I was unable to get a refund or a satisfactory resolution. As a result, I had to drive to the restaurant myself to have the mistake corrected, which completely defeated the purpose of using DoorDash for convenience. When we arrived at Juicy Crab, the hostess, Haley, was extremely helpful, professional, and courteous. She took the time to correct our order and made sure we received the correct food. She provided excellent customer service, and I truly appreciate her efforts. However, we asked to speak with the manager, Sarah, about what had happened, and she declined to come out and speak with us. That was very disappointing. As customers, we expected the manager to acknowledge the situation and address our concerns, especially after we had to make an unnecessary trip to the restaurant because of the incorrect delivery. While I understand that mistakes can happen, both DoorDash and Juicy Crab share responsibility for ensuring that the correct order is prepared, verified, and delivered to the customer. This experience caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that improvements can be made.
