This is. Taiwanese hot pot in the warm Spring Blvd area . It is a popular place for the locates . Each person an order your own personal hot pot . They have beef , lamb , seafood tofu , Korean style, Thai style , curry , Japanese miso , Taiwanese spicy hot pot , etc . I like that the hot pot is super hot with your choices f meat and sauces base. It comes with side dishes and vegetables with choice of one bowl of rice or vermicelli. Today is Wednesday night around 7:00 pm . The restaurant is full . It takes about one hour for the table to turn over . I order the seafood tofu hot pot . It has two giant shrimps , big piece of fish filet , clams , fish balls , imitated crab meat , cooked vegetables, mushrooms, soft and firm tofu , and some slices of pork . The broth is very tasty. A good place for a homely dinner.

Standards were higher comparing this BP location to the Seattle locations (even the SJ one, which is ok) Came by Saturday evening around 7:30. Probably 2/3 empty. Comparing to Seattle ones, this one definitely lacks in service, speed, and attentiveness. Fully open, but staff had us in a squished table for 2. Then put another table at a bigger table (for 4) which was weird since I had requested it earlier and there were multiple tables open. Two of us ordered: beef hot soup $21.85 +$1 for scallion gravy rice which was good milk cream curry $21.85 no cream Green tea with boba $5.90, pricey end. Green tea is still good, but boba was mushy and cup was mostly ice. Lychee green tea $6.25 was average. Could've been better as I'm definitely familiar with a good BP experience. Cali locations need to pick it up. Parking in the lot is relatively easy.

Disclaimer: I'm not a hotpot fan so take my review with a grain of salt. I used to only eat the rice and pork appetizers here but this time I tried the Japanese Miso. I think the name is a little misleading in my opinion since although it's Japanese (or even the "Korean" one), it still just tastes Taiwanese. It's good enough to be honest, but I'm not sure it's worth the price... I wish they had a small option for all of the menu items but I'm not sure why the Japanese Miso has to be a large. I also upgraded to the new beefy tomato rice, and honestly I'd just stick to the scallion one. It was a bit salty so it was not my cup of tea. Again, I'm not the biggest fan of hotpot, so take my review with a grain of salt!

Haven't been here in yeaaaarrrs. Thought it was fine. Boiling Point pros: - wintermelon tea option (typically places offer green or black) - big double sauce tray - solid meat quantity They use BEEF broth for all their bowls except veggie!! Most places (including Tasty Pot) use pork, I believe. Staff was nice and accommodating (':

Lamb hot soup was pretty decent. BP isn't usually my first pick because I'm not fan of the small portion of meat and the lack of heat control. If you're someone that likes convenience and variety, BP is probably your place, but if you like to have more control over what you want to eat, then ayce hot pot or something similar may be a better option for you.

Came here and ordered two #9 Japanese Miso Hot Soup, one spicy and one mild; #8 Taiwanese Spicy Hot Soup, and #11 Thai Flavor Hot Soup. I had a chance to try all four soups and here are my thoughts: the miso was refreshing, and it world be good if you're looking for something light. The Taiwanese Spicy is definitely spicy if that's what you are looking for, and Thai Flavor if you're in the mood for Tom Yum. Service is petty fast, and the ambiance is quiet.

Went here yesterday with a friend. We both used to come to this location as fresh college grads, so many years later, this spot was sentimental to us. I ordered the beef hot pot, and I found the flavor pretty good and the ingredients were just enough. For a Monday night, this place wasn't too crowded either and service was fast. If you are craving hot pot and want something quick and satisfying, this is the place to go. :)

#6 Milk Cream Curry Hot Soup was so amazing

Stopped in for lunch having no idea what I was in for. Colleague swore it was good and said I had to try. Was so glad I did! You pick your boiling soup off the menu and your side and they bring to the table on a box with sterno. They light the fire and the soup gets hotter as you eat it. I got the no. 6 milk cream curry with rice as a side. Comes with a drink so I got The green tea. Soup was so delicious. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Only regret was I should have got noodles instead of rice. Ordered medium spice but didn't have any kick at all. My colleague got mild and it was very spicy so I think they mixed up the order a little. He was sweating and didn't finish! It's very industrial inside, spartan but clean Service was good, they checked in and eventually shut off my fire once my soup was at a roiling boil. Immediately looked for a place close to home to try again!

I m biased since mini hotpot is not my thing, the pots here are adequate, broth was bland imo, for instance the sour cabbage lamb pot i couldnt taste either ingredients in the broth. It was almost like putting the ingredients in hot water. The lamb & beef were descent quality Spicy fermented tofu ik, i prefer the changsha flavor

This location of Boiling Point is located in the Mission Square where the parking can definitely be challenging during peak hours. It's a decent sized lot but with so many popular restaurants and a supermarket sharing the same lot. We've only been here a handful of times as we go to the location in San Jose. Usually, my go tos are the... Milk Cream Curry Hot Soup: sweet milk cream combined with exotic curry spices and a pinch of sea salt with pork, corn, tempura, Napa, Vermicelli, sliced pork, seafood mushroom, Imitation crab stick, fish ball, fried tofu skin, potato, Chinese & String Bean. Lamb Hot Soup: Napa, Vermicelli, sliced lamb, seafood mushroom, Imitation crab stick, fish cake, fried tofu skin, pork blood, pickled mustard Greens, shimeji mushroom, clam, firm tofu, tempura, egg, green onions, cilantro. It used to be too loud and noisy inside, though, it's better now.

Easiest my favorite hot pot place of all time! A must visit when I'm in the area. Their beef hot soup is so well balanced and wonderful every time! Service is quick and the inside is on the chilly side but you'll warm up quick!

The menu has a decent variety of soups, meat quality and flavor is pretty good, and I love the personalized pot concept! It comes ready to eat but you can let the soup gradually boil Their fish tofu / cakes are very yummy too. Pricing is on the higher side relative to the meat quantity but it is a solid hot pot choice. The spice levels can sometimes be inconsistent (a little spicier than expected) They also give a compliment aiyu jelly drink at the end of your meal :)

Oh, hot pot how I love thee. Yes, I absolutely eat hot pot in the middle of summer. I'm a big fan of Tasty Pot, but hands down, Boiling Point takes the crown. The meat quality is noticeably better, the rice portions are more generous, and their green tea? Incredible. The broth is rich and flavorful, the instant noodles are perfectly springy, and the fish cake and imitation crab are soft, chewy, and super yummy. The service is always fast and efficient--they're consistently on top of things. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming. One small tip: maybe avoid going right when they open. Occasionally, there's a faint sewer-like smell probably just one of the quirks of Fremont but it goes away quickly as the day goes on. All in all, it's a must-try. You're going to love it

Ask the Community - Boiling Point

Are they reopened for indoor seating yet?

I was there last weekend and they were not open for indoor seating.

Does anyone know if they are opened during this shelter in place/coronavirus pandemic?

    Yes, they are open! M-F: 12:00-9:00pm Sat-Su: 12:00-9:30pm

What do the birthday person get on the app?

$10 off your order- expires in 9 days of your birthday. E.g birthday on 01/01 expires 01/09

How come the menus no longer describe what's in each soup anymore in the small menu in the front? Like my mom is looking at house special and has to try and figure out what is in there by eyeballing the picture? Just sat down and normal menu has it

I'm sure you can ask for the normal menu before you sit down to look at the description!

Is this BP location open on Christmas?

Hi Isabel, yes our Fremont location will be open 11am-11pm on Christmas Day.

Does the food all come already in the pot or you throw it in yourself so everything won't be overcooked?

It comes all in the pot already, they set the pot down in front of you then they light it. No substitutions.

What kind of noodles can you order as a side?

Hi Linda! We offer wok noodle, instant noodle, udon, and vermicelli.

    Is the birthday person free?

No they don't do that here.

Do they use MSG in their soup base?

    yes

    How much for kids?

    Same price

The next time I decided to give this place a try, I ordered a chicken zinger sandwich and a side of regular fries for takeout lunch. The place was clean but pretty deserted on a weekday around 2pm. This made parking a breeze, but I must say that's not always the case because this place shares the same plaza and limited parking space with a widely popular Indian restaurant, a beloved Yemeni coffee shop, and many other businesses. I found the service to be lacking - no smile, warmth or greeting for their only customer at the time other than a curt "are you ready to order?" and again, no communication or small talk as I waited for my order to get prepared. The food was definitely much better than the service. I live close-by and still the food was a little soggy by the time I got home. I wish they used the tactic I see a lot of Asian restaurants use to keep fried food crunchy by introducing a small outlet for steam. The chicken was definitely fresh, tasty, and expertly breaded and fried. I went with "hot" for my spice level and there was definitely a kick, but nothing too spicy (I do have a good tolerance for spice). However, having lived in Nashville for close to a decade, I have to say the spice rub used here isn't the real deal though they advertise their products as Nashville style. Also, I was surprised that they hadn't included any ketchup or hot sauce with my side of fries - do remember to ask for them if you're planning to eat on the go and can't imagine fries without ketchup like me. A little better service could easily turn this place into a better dining experience.

I was here for an art show last night, but honestly? The food ended up being the masterpiece. We essentially tried to defeat the menu and the menu won. 10/10, no notes. The Highlights: Hawaiian Sliders: Absolutely bomb. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. I'm still thinking about them 24 hours later. Luckily there was no line at 8:30 in the morning on a Saturday. Rating Breakdown: 1/2 Stars for Taste -- The menu is HUGE and it was difficult to pick just one thing to order. I ended up choosing the Tio Pancho because I can never resist biscuits and gravy. The scramble itself was good, I'm a big fan of their chorizo as it's not overpoweringly sour/tangy like some other places. It was also mild enough that my kids were able to try a little. I opted for the hash browns which added a nice crispiness into the mix. I would actually skip the biscuits and gravy next time -- the biscuits are on the cake-y side and the gravy is a bit bland. My husband ordered the Mexican chicken fried steak. The steak itself was also bland, but it was fine paired with the chorizo and sauce on top. Their hashbrowns are crispy on the outside but made thick with a more mushy inside, not our favorite. My husband's sunny side eggs were also a bit underdone, the egg whites were still runny. We were both fans of the salsa that came on the side. For the kiddos, we got one pancake. We're glad we only got one because it was literally the same size as the dinner plate it came on. It was super fluffy and thiccccc, just how I love it. It was also not too sweet by itself so I felt less bad about giving it to the kiddos. I would say the dishes are served "rustic", it's not the most instagrammable if that matters to you, but it is a mountain of food and a veritable feast. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It's about $20 per entree and the serving sizes are humongous. Definitely enough to share or take home as leftovers. Coffee was $4 but it was actually good coffee, not the watery stuff diners sometimes serve. It only cost $3.95 to upgrade the side of toast to a pancake, which is a steal...I mean, why wouldn't you do it? 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- The food came out unbelievably quickly. We literally said "That can't be it" when we saw them bringing it over. This place is optimized for efficiency -- everything from seating, serving, coffee refills, to bringing the bill was streamlined yet not rushed. Bonus star because we would come back when we are craving brunch. We would come early to avoid the lines.

The photos are incredibly outdated as this truck no longer serve mac and cheese nor collard greens, which are two dishes that I enjoy. Even their main fried chicken and waffle menu has gone from about ten items down to five. Nevertheless, I decided to get a fried chicken and waffle sandwich and ordered the Spicy and I Know It.
