Today it was very crowded, even with a waiting list, but the service from Vivie was incredibly quick. She understood my situation since I came with my wife and child. She was very caring and attentive toward my child and my wife when the spoon fell, she noticed it immediately and replaced it right away. My child really liked Vivie, she was very kind and friendly. I'm proud of Vivie as both a hostess and a server. This was my second time coming in the morning to Boiling Point for the beef hot pot, and once again I was very satisfied and happy with the service Vivie provided. I always loved going to boiling point but tonight was not one of their best. One of the servers, Julia, walked past us a couple of times even though we needed help and she willingly chose to ignore us. I understand that sometimes it's busy but at least acknowledge us. I've been a loyal fan of Boiling Point for many years, but sadly, the quality seems to be declining. On our latest visit, the soup tasted watered down, and they even ran out of the one we wanted. The sauce jar was pretty dirty, and the beef rice we ordered not only looked burnt but tasted gross and were hard as rocks. I'm not sure what they were thinking with that dish--has anyone else experienced this? I hope they address these issues soon, as I've always loved coming here! read more

i can't believe bp closed down their rowland heights location to open up this one. obviously it's still a new-ish place, so they will need time to get comfortable but unfortunately, i don't think it was a good move. firstly, the food is always amazing, i want to make that clear. i love boiling point, and no matter where you go, it is consistent and delicious. HOWEVER, this location has given me some of the worst experiences i've ever gotten. i was seated at 6:18pm and it took FORTY minutes to get our order taken. it was just me and one other person (a party of two), and we asked multiple times if we could order, but we were severely neglected. no one checked on us during this time, or even walked through our section. looking around, it seemed like everyone was served and taken care of except for us. we almost just walked out lol. after finally getting to put our order in, our food came, but there were things missing from our order that we had to re-ask for (which was difficult because again, we had to flag servers down-- they wouldn't check on us). and keep in mind, the restaurant was NOT super busy. there were empty tables next to us. i kept track of the times we were seated versus when we got served and it ended up being around one hour and 16 minutes, which is honestly unacceptable even if it was busy. our whole meal should've taken that time, but instead it was double. along with the horrible service, the location also has terrible parking. the lot is small, and the spots are tiny. you would have better luck parking across the street and walking over. i will not be coming to this location anymore. i'll have better luck over in arcadia. read more

Horrible wait time. We got there a little after 12 noon and got a table with no wait. Restaurant was about 2/3 full. Had to flag down waitress to order. Didn't get food until 1:00 pm. Absolutely ridiculous to wait 1 hour to get our food! Looks to be understaffed (4 employees) but the kitchen was slower than hell. Worse of all, we couldn't eat our food because we had to return to work (lunch hour) and packed it without getting to eat. Only brought spot was our waiter Kevin who was very apologetic and got us our containers and check quickly. Owner/management has to do better with staffing, especially during lunch time. Additionally the parking at this new location is horrible. Will NEVER return and will/already tell friends, family and coworkers about this horrible experience. If you're looking for food go somewhere else. New place or not, it is inexcusable to be waiting outside for an hour when you have 7 empty seats that seat 1-2 people open - from a business stand point that's a loss of revenue and a terrible way to bottleneck the flow in the kitchen. Once you finally get seated you wait another 20 minutes of staff going around helping others before they remember that you been seated before those that walked in; but I gave them a chance and waited. Only to have the staff walk past and get someone else's order behind me first. Had to get their attention to remind them they forgot about me. Finally ordered - something completely simple - their new item a rice bowl.... I can get if there is back up on the kitchen but an hour and a half while everyone including my partner who seated with me got their food while a RICE BOWL still wasn't served. Not only that they served another person who sat down an hour after we waited their bowl that they ordered.... Inexcusable honest a terrible establishment and they need to get their staff in line and YouTube how to run a restaurant. Writing this while my partner eats her meal... she's almost done. It's been another 15 minutes and no one knows where my bowl is. If you've waited 2 hours for food and watch as everyone around you who's ordered and sat after you get food before you, you would be just as livid. Only reason I even stayed and waited was bc my partner likes eating here..... not me not ever. Find a mom and pop hot pot place they'll treat you better and faster. Only saving grace was Kerry who came back from his break and had to take my wrath. Careful, when you join the waiting list and your table is ready, they might not even tell you and keep you waiting outside. Service is just OK. We had an issue where we tried using the Boiling Point gift card to pay and for some reason their system wouldn't take it. We spent another 30 minutes just waiting for them to figure that out. we've been going here SINCE they have their soft opening, and their GRAND OPENING. and they have been nice and accomodating plus we always love going here atleast once a week. but today 09/16/2025 we encounter a very rude waiter named JULIA. i was still talking but JULIA turn around and kept going back to the cashier, i was calling JULIA while she was turning back and shouting and other customers could hear me and JULIA just kept going like she did not hear anything. what kind of customer service is that? then she kept going to other tables and asking them if they need anything BUT us. i don't even know if she is racist or what. she even gave us a really raw meat. its been a while since we're eating and it was still raw :( read more

I just went boiling point today around 5pm. I left around 6pm. 9-11-25. Today the service was slow. I got my drinks late, they did not automatically fill your water, I had to flag two people down to add soup etc. things were not done quickly and I had to keep asking people. basically not the usual crew. I flagged down the manager maria. She said give me a minute and she was busy. So I waited hoping she could help me. The rest of the staff was busy and was not very helpful. So I waited for get then I see her take off. She is terrible manager and did not help me. What kind of manager is she? I been eating at boiling point since the first store in hacienda height. Came in to try the new location to see if it was still as good at the last one, and it was even better! This location seems cleaner and the service was amazing. The food was good as usual, I enjoyed the new menu items! They had a new rice bowl with beef that was really good. I had the pleasure of being served by Viet and he was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely attentive, always quick to notice when u needed something, and had a very inviting energy that made you feel comfortable. i love boiling point. the sauces always hit so hard but it's so ass when they workers are so incompetent with cleaning and clearing the tables. we had a group of 3 and there were no other parties around. there was a bigger group that left prior but no one....absolutely no one did anything to clear the tables. one worker passed by to take the cash tips and then after a few minutes..another worker took 2 drinks from the table...it's been over 10 minutes and the table is still there..i don't get how hard it is to work and delegate tasks. it's not even a busy time. please do better. read more
