The AYCE meats and appetizers were solid, and both broths we tried were flavorful. The spicy miso had a nice kick while the mushroom broth was delicious and comforting. They also offer a Cambodian broth that sounded really intriguing. It's shrimp and peanut based, and I already know that's what I'm ordering next time. The self serve bar had a good variety of veggies, seafood, and sauces so you can really customize your meal however you want. Service was friendly, fast, and attentive throughout the entire meal, which always makes a difference during AYCE dining. To top it all off, they included ice cream at the end. The ube and vanilla flavors were the perfect way to finish everything off. My only small ding would be the bathroom, it's not in the best shape. Probably best to use one elsewhere if you can. We have visited this restaurant with the ownership change and wow what a difference!! Meat selection was very fresh and the self serve veggies and sauces were fresh as well and everything was clean! Our server I think his name was Rafael was very professional and was attentive to us the entire time. Highly recommended! I'm glad we gave this place another chance with the new change. Both of our broths were very flavorful the spicy Japanese miso and the sichuan broth was delicious! Very flavorful! I would only say the AC didn't keep up and we were pretty hot but it was 100 degrees outside so I would imagine the AC just wasn't keeping up. But if it was cooler in there it would have perfect. First time here with my family. It was fairly priced. I like the selection of meat choices since we basically only eat brisket, beef round, beef chuck eye, and lamb. They do have chicken and pork as well. We enjoyed the other amenities: the sauce bar, assorted seafood, assorted vegetables, and assorted noodles. All of it was fresh and yummy! My family and I (group of 5) had a Sunday lunch at this restaurant. We arrived right at opening so we were seated right away and only half of the restaurant was occupied. Our order was taken right away and given right away too. We ordered mushroom and spicy miso broth. I felt the spicy miso had great flavor, but wished it was spicier. I wish I could have tasted more umami/mushroom flavor in the mushroom broth. There's a cold bar where you can get various seafood and vegetable items. There's a lot of options for both. Not sure if it was the sauce I made, but everything was salty. The workers are very friendly and attentive to us, but they did not check or restock the self-serve bars. This place was amazing! My mother recommended this place cause it had a Cambodian Soup Base called "Yao Hon" which is a one of my favorite hot pot soup bases that is not very common. The meats and the variety's of seafood and veggies were spectacular. The customer service was wonderful as well. I went with my boyfriend for the first time. The meat selection menu was really small, only 8 choices. There was a 90 minute time limit. The rules for how many meat platters we could order was confusing. We asked twice for clarification and we were still confused about the meat platters. I overheard other customers ask again as well, they were confused by the rules too. This restaurant is supposed to be all you can eat (AYCE) but that seems inaccurate and misleading. We ordered spicy miso and clean & clear broth. The broths were good! We didn't get individual pots, so the temperature was super inconsistent. My broth was barely boiling, while his was boiling nonstop. The veggies (mushrooms, carrots, tofu) were still too tough and chewy after boiling 40 minutes. We used forks but they only had small plastic ones. Our bowls were small and metal, so we couldn't pick it up while eating. The platters had only 4-5 slices of thin meat. The service was fair. The ambiance was okay, there was music in the background and lots of space. There were 3 big frozen self serve areas, seafood, veggies, sauces. The restaurant was empty, considering it was lunch time. There was a good variety of toppings, meat and seafood. We went for lunch special for $25/person. I love this place I come at least 2 to 3 times a month. I always get my Yao Haon and Clear broth. The big pot splits into two. Is not a single pot place. The spectacular service and the food simply delicious. The price point is good. You get ice cream after your meal. My only issues the meatballs section should have beef ball because every hot pot place like AYCE style always does. Please bring in some beef balls. The veggie selection is great. There is no crawfish or blue crabs unfortunately. Like I said I got to a lot of hot pot place but the price here you cannot beat it. You have to try. I'll be going again today. read more

Went here for my birthday a while back since I was craving hot pot and it was SO DELICIOUS! This place is so special because they have a Cambodian broth called yao han and it was so rich in flavor. My husband is Khmer and said it tasted very close to how his mom makes it. The owners were so sweet and the service was so fast! The really took care of us. There were many options for the veggies and meat also. I was impressed with the cleanliness because some hot pot AYCE places don't put the same amount of care. Ok, to be completely fair and in full transparency we never talked to anyone nor did we order any food. We didn't taste any food or even see any food. We had very high hopes for this place however, upon entry, you cannot smell any food, there was one customer who had no food, and no one to greet us. So we stood there all quietly realizing that there was a very strong odor but not a good one. It smelled like urine and a well used restroom. We quietly left before anyone had the chance to talk to us. So I chose not to eat here and I don't think I recommend it either. We use to go to this place regularly. It has drastically declined since new ownership, unfortunately. Service is extremely slow and lacking. Walked in at dinner time on a Sunday and there was not a single employee to be found. No greeter and the staff were in the back. When a waitress finally emerged they just told us to have a seat anywhere we like. No greeting or welcome (no big deal). Took a look at the menu and prices have increased. Children are charged by height and not age. Sesame balls and other pastries are no longer available at the sauce bar area. Veggies are moved to the side of the restaurant right outside the entrance way to the restroom (weird). Paid our bill and walked right past the cashier. Not a single acknowledgment or thank you. Not even a look. Anyways it's very unfortunate because we use to love coming here. I really hope they can figure things out. Needed to find a replacement for Shabuya and Broth which have both been going downhill. Happy to stumble upon this savory little gem in a busy strip mall next to H mart. The restaurant just changed ownership and the new owners are lovely, attentive and wonderful people. Talk about a great mom and pop shop! Now for the food. You can select two broths for the table. (The pot was huge btw!) We chose the House Special which was very spicy and had the Szechuan kick and spicy miso. Both broths were flavorful with just the right amount of spices. The meats were fresh and tasty. They also had a great seafood and salad bar that had a great variety and all the selections scrumptious. We are all very full and very happy with our meal. $30some each for AYCE shabu! Cammmannnn. It's a deal. There's a sauce bar, there's a veggie bar, there's a seafood bar and then you order apps, meat, soup and ice cream from your server. Blew my mind how much was included. The restaurant is also very clean and they check and stock the bars frequently. The servers were so sweet and attentive. I believe it's a family restaurant, they seem so nice and so caring. Hubs is full, I'm full, 11 yr old is full and 3 yr old is full. They loved EVERYTHING. Somehow this restaurant even got my kids to eat all their meat and veggies. Had their Chuan signature broth (sichuan flavor) super good and the right amount of spice (light medium), as well as the tomato broth (also quite good). They also had some freshly fried sesame balls and egg rolls, and free ice cream for dessert. My issue was with the service, super lacking and we practically had to ask for everything and serve ourselves everything, and the sauce appears disappointing, but still has what you need? You can pick up to two soup broths to share. I came with a friend and we each got our own so we moved the pot to face us. The pot is huge and gets heat up pretty quickly. We ordered the four meats they had available: beef neck, shoulder, belly and lamb shoulder. My preferred meats were the beef neck and lamb. The place uses recycled paper plates, bowls, cups and utensils. Their sauce station had a lot of options, including sacha, garlic, chili peppers. I didn't find any sesame or peanut sauce but the selections worked for me. Appetizers were egg rolls, peanuts. The dessert was the aiyu jelly. They also have unlimited ice cream scoops they can give you. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have clams l, octopus, crawfish or crab as part of their seafood selections, which are found in other similar hotpot places. Their mussels were clumped together in ice and not thoroughly thawed out. I did like they had really fresh crowned daisies. PARKING It's located inside a huge parking plaza. Finally decided to come try this all you can eat hot pot. The shopping center here is a little quiet as there's not too many other restaurants. The decor inside is lovely, the restaurant is very clean. You can set up a table to sit a large party, which is nice. We went on a weekday night, it wasn't too busy maybe 25% full. The restaurant feels family owned, they are very nice and friendly. You basically just choose between four different meats, there is a veggie seafood bar in the back that you go and grab your own. There's also a sauce bar and next to the sauce bar has a little hot snacks, cold appetizers, and a little dessert. At the very end, you also get a scoop of ice cream. The meat is that delicious, I preferred to fattier cuts over the lean cut. And then I also really enjoyed the lamb here. The lamb does not have a very gamy taste as some people don't like. Or the soup here has a good amount of flavor, you can also ask for additional spice for the spicy side.
