Sometimes you just need a little Bojangles in your life! I don't eat Bojangles often but when I do, I go all out. I've recently been all over the Boberry biscuit with sausage. The sweet/savory combo will always be a top choice in my book. We tried their new Bo'rito and didn't like it. I come to this Bojangles almost daily, and it is disappointing that the general manager does not have staff to support the young man who has to basically run the front counter and the drive-through and prepare all of the orders because he won't hire enough staff keep the young man is always doing everything and there's never anyone at the front register While he is having to control the drive-thru. This restaurant is making more than enough money to afford adequate staff. Eddie is the young man that works to drive-through and is very pleasant and should not be misused because he's a hard worker. This is in no way against the staff of this Bojangles, I have never had a negative customer service experience and staff is normally polite and pleasant. This location is so incredibly slow and is likely due to the lack of staffing and resources. I have never seen more than two people working at this location, who are working very hard to keep up with the customer demand, but causes an extremely long wait time. I have been multiple times in which I had to wait 30+ minutes in the drive thru line when there is maybe 5 cars total (not at the order menu) in the line in front of me (which can cause a longer wait time but 30 minutes is ridiculous). Today, being one of those times, has caused me to know better than to visit this location again. Unfortunately, this also may cause the food to be cold because of the long wait time. Then a real person told me they were sold out of fries at 11:30 AM. It took over 30 minutes to get my food at the end window, with no option to drive off by the way it is boxed in. No apologies from the staff about the wait or any sign of basic customer service. Also their sanitation rating October 2023 is a 95. The owner needs to reconsider who is managing this place and maybe pay staff more if they don't have enough workers. Argued with us about the difference between a buttermilk biscuit and a biscuit with butter then had attitude when they had to cut the biscuit (of which they do for all other biscuits on the menu) and add butter. It's a plain butter biscuit of which they have on the menu. To top it all off they had no tea available at 8:40am. Biscuits didn't have the right flavor as if it hadn't finished baking. Decided to use the app to save time. However, when I arrived to pickup my order I was informed that they were out of grilled chicken which was 2/3rds of my order Grilled Chicken Sandwiches. If this had been the first time I could have excused it. But this has happened 4 of the last 5 times I have tried to order the grilled chicken sandwich from this location. I just don't understand how a restaurant that only serves chicken can't keep grilled chicken for a grilled chicken sandwich. Furthermore, when I got home with a regular Bo's chicken sandwich it was so spicy I couldn't eat it...To me there is no excuse for this to happen. Let me start with saying I totally understand the hardships businesses are taking post Covid. I rarely write reviews but I have supported this Bojangles location from the moment it opened and the service has been subpar at best and somehow the quality of food has been just as bad! How does a restaurant run out of chicken when that is what they are known for?!?! I settled for a sandwich hoping and praying it won't be a thin dried up piece of chicken that's was thrown together. I ask the girl if I could please have fresh fries... I could tell the way she say uh huh that was code for yeah right. The staff was really having a great time when I pulled up. Zero professionalism and Of course I got a cold dried up piece of chicken, half melted cheese a rubbery piece of bacon and cold fries...smh. I just wanted a hot meal after a long exhausting day. A $9 dollar meal may not be a lot to some people, but post Covid every dollar spent counts to me, and I was using it to support a business that didn't care to give me a quality meal. It's sad that I actually hesitated spending my money here because I knew from past experiences the food was going to be horrible. Lesson learned!!
