This is probably one of the best Bojangles in the state just because service is pretty decent. They are fast, pretty efficient, and typically get your order right. As much as I truly love Bojangles, all those are sometimes hard to accomplish for the chain. I wanted to make sure that I took time out and shared my recent experience with Bojangles , specifically Store #000016 in Charlotte, N.C. My daughter and I were hungry after leaving a meeting and decided to stop by a nearby Bojangles. We decided to go inside even though It was a little busy ,but we had no problems with waiting. From the start, the customer service was friendly. Our cashier, Desiree was very nice and greeted us with asking our orders. One of the items purchased was the 8 pc Chicken Meal. At the time, I didn't realize I was overcharged. Instead of paying the advertised promotional price of $19.99, I paid $28.99 for the meal. I did ask the cashier about it but she wasn't sure how to proceed with correcting the error. I told her I understand and that I would reach out to customer support for further assistance. Let me tell you, that the food was so freshly prepared and Desiree, made sure I had all the condiments such as the jelly, etc..and she even included the plates. Even if it wasn't a promo going on, it definitely was worth the price especially feeding a family of 4. Moving forward, I did reach out to customer support by email and they responded back with a very quick response which was a phone call made to me by their Area Manager named Tamileo Wakefield, who made it right. Mr. Wakefield and Bojangles have gone over and beyond with the customer satisfaction of granting me with my refund of a gift card that I wasn't expecting that covered beyond the promotion price. When you're at the point for looking for anything to eat, I'm willing to try something new. Have never eaten here before and keeping expectations realistic, I tried the three-piece dinner meal, which includes one leg and two thighs. The meal includes a soft drink and a choice of sides. They did not have coleslaw so I punted to french fries. Let's start with the good. The iced tea is excellent. Not too sweet and not too bland. Onto the next best thing which would be the fries. a little on the soggy side, but not enough to really affect the overall favor. I'd rate them as a pretty good fry. As for the chicken... meh. A lot of coating, not much chicken, and a tad on the spicy side. Not that there's anything wrong with spicy. I like spicy. A bit on the greasy side, but overall everything was about average. As I was waiting for my next flight, I decided to try Bojangles since I've been to one before. The line to order was relatively fast since the limit menu was very easy to read. Soon after it opened, staff started to take orders and food came out fast. Service is very quick and efficient, which is especially nice since you're at an airport and have to be mindful of time to catch your flight. People didn't wait long to get their orders. I ordered the fried chicken biscuit breakfast combination, which came with hash browns and a beverage. I can't say I'd order it again though because the fried chicken was super dry. I was regretting not getting a sauce, which would've helped the dry chicken, but I'm mostly disappointed that a place that prides itself on its chicken had such dry chicken. However, the hash browns were delicious. They were basically fried potato circles, larger than tots and very flavorful. Hopefully if I have Bojangles again, the chicken will taste better. read more

There is an old legend in the Charlotte airport that all missed connecting flights end up here at Bojangles. My friends in the south always rave about this place. So when I missed my connecting flight, it was meant to be. I got there at the perfect time. There was no line and the food was coming out hot. The biscuit was delicious. It was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The steak fries were crispy and fresh. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and great tasting. Customer service was great since there was no one behind me I was able to ask my rookie first timer questions. They were patient with me and helpful. I will say don't strain your eyes trying to look up at the menu, don't be like me who didn't realize they have a menu posted at the register. As with everything in airports it was expensive. But they were very efficient and that is the one thing you need at the airport where you wait in line for everything.
