My friend found this spot and I have to say, I'm not going to say the "S" word - because it didn't apply. It was all Hospitality. The first interaction was like we had stepped into someone's home and were told to make ourselves at home. And the rest was the same. The gentleman walked us through the menu. Pretty much the entire line up of options. Not a condescending or impatient tone - warm and welcoming. Same with the next person. Even convinced my friend to get a dessert. Not that I need my arm twisted. The dining area was well kept. Clean. The condiments were well stocked and organized. I saw two different team members taking care of business there even asking if I needed anything. Bathrooms were immaculate. Don't see that very often - at least I don't in public places. The food was what we were looking for. Comfort food. With taste, not muted - just good flavor and consistency. A far cry from the bland, dry foods we had experienced the days prior. It was one of the first meals I really enjoyed on this trip to NC. Not saying that others were bad - they just didn't align with my taste preferences/expectations. Something about how Fried Chicken and Pork Chops are prepared in the South (or NOT California). Tender. Juicy. Mac & Cheese - not watery or overcooked. And I don't think I've ever had bad collared greens in my life. It's one of the handful of green vegetables I love having. Almost forgot parking. It's in kinda a plaza/strip mall setting. Free space and lots when we went (lunch). Not having to look for or pay for parking is always a plus for me. So, it's a chain. But I'd definitely go back. I almost ordered more but was saving the stomach space for dinner.

A sister concept to Noble Smoke, this original location on Freedom Drive is located on the same premise. They are small, and the menu is very focused. Fried chicken sandwiches, tenders, and nuggets. But they do it so well! The meat is cooked and breaded to perfection, and they use Duke's Mayo along with buns from the owners bakery called Copain I believe. Jim Noble is a well known restauranter and it is clear if you've been to any of his restaurants that he is passionate about what he does. Bossy Beulah's is a perfect example as it is a small simple concept that absolutely nails all of the small details to provide a high quality meal.

Music was playing in the background not too loud but just right (at least for me). Customer service was very welcoming and helped me out because this was my first time there at their establishment. *on to the food* I ordered a chicken sandwich and some chicken tenders. That chicken sandwich was so flavorful. It wasn't too crunchy as well. I despise crunchy chicken like I'm eating on chips and this was far from that. The chicken tenders were very good as well, no complaints. They have a homemade lemonade, nothing to scream about but it was good. The reason for a 4 out of 5, is because of their ranch. I felt like it was freshly handmade but it just had a different taste to it. It wasn't hidden valley lol or wing stop type of ranch. Regardless, though, I can buy my own ranch and whenever I do go back to Charlotte, I will definitely be coming back here to get some chicken.

As I'm strolling through the food court nothing seemed to scratch my tastebuds, I considered all the options and settled on a sandwich from Jersey Mikes. As I'm standing in line I hear some college girls behind that was faced with the same dilemma, we chit chatted briefly. So as we're standing in the at least 10 deep line, a patron passes by us with the most delicious looking salad. I'm one of those people that will stop and ask "What did you get, that looks good ", she got the club salad and added extras. Yup, in unison we said "I want that"! And I got that! It was the second most delicious salad I've had while on my working travels. Guest service interaction 5, speed of service 5 and accuracy 5, picture perfect 5, taste 5, freshness 5 : ) Ambiance in the airport? Expected, nothing to Tic Tok.

I picked this for a few reasons, the price wasn't insane, it can easily be eaten with your hands, and doesn't need to be warm. We got in the line, and soon realized it wasn't moving, somehow the one only person working the cash register was creating a bottle neck, and the 4 other people "working", were in no rush to get the orders through, they didn't jump on the other register or try to assist him, they were just sitting around waiting for the cashier to get the orders in. Once the orders got in, the others were quick to get them made and sent out, but no one seemed to have any sense to help the struggling cashier. I ordered a ham and provolone sub, which once ordered came out relatively quick. But in the end, I realized I had picked the wrong dinner option. The sub was pretty bad, they seemed to really drench the bread with oil, I think? It was very overpowering, and made everything greasy. All of the toppings were slipping out of the sandwich and I could only eat about half of the sub. One because of the flavor, and two because I didn't want that much oil to destroy my stomach on a cross country flight. This definitely has left a bad impression in my mind for any other future visits to Jersey Mikes, and seeing all the other bad reviews on here for this location, I hope someone will take notice and make some changes.

My daughter and I were hungry after leaving a meeting and decided to stop by a nearby Bojangles. We decided to go inside even though It was a little busy ,but we had no problems with waiting. From the start, the customer service was friendly. Our cashier, Desiree was very nice and greeted us with asking our orders. One of the items purchased was the 8 pc Chicken Meal. At the time, I didn't realize I was overcharged. Instead of paying the advertised promotional price of $19.99, I paid $28.99 for the meal. I did ask the cashier about it but she wasn't sure how to proceed with correcting the error. I told her I understand and that I would reach out to customer support for further assistance. Let me tell you, that the food was so freshly prepared and Desiree, made sure I had all the condiments such as the jelly, etc..and she even included the plates. Even if it wasn't a promo going on, it definitely was worth the price especially feeding a family of 4. Moving forward, I did reach out to customer support by email and they responded back with a very quick response which was a phone call made to me by their Area Manager named Tamileo Wakefield, who made it right. Mr. Wakefield and Bojangles have gone over and beyond with the customer satisfaction of granting me with my refund of a gift card that I wasn't expecting that covered beyond the promotion price. I just wanted to share the praise with everyone including Bojangles, specifically Mr. Tamileo Wakefield , with sharing the compliment that you are the GOAT ( " Greatest of All Time"). Thank you for providing such great customer service to your customers. Together you all make a difference and a great team. Mary Ann Barr

My brisket grilled cheese wasn't that bad, but the meat was mushy and a bit mealy texture if that is even possible. The tater tots however were really good. A couple burgers were had too. We did have like 58 drinks. The server was funny and had a bit of a snarky attitude, which I loved, by the way. She was middle aged with glasses, I believe Latino decent. Funny as hell and gave the boys some shit when she dealt with us. It's a bit like a country place inside. I think it's what they are going for. There is a cool belt buckle wall that I actually really dug. Great interior design idea. Combined…read morewith another $40 I had been given as reimbursement when I got to Tennessee from Hartford, I decided to use that to get some dinner once I had landed in Charlotte now that I was departing at 11:21 after landing at 8:32 instead of departing at 8:45 after landing at 7:34 like I was supposed to. But that wasn't the only thing that led me here. Because I was on my home and starting in the Tri-Cities this time around, I had disembarked from the E terminal instead of one of the other 4, and this was the most convenient option I had passed by. Lastly, what made the decision for me is that I wanted to abide by my policy of only eating at places I can only get in their part of the country, and this was one that had the "CLT" certification by its name. The first thing you will notice upon arriving here is the ambiance. I actually like the rustic Southern sports bar theme they got going on here. Whenever I visit a new place, it helps to go somewhere that introduces you to how that kind of location feels, and this place does well here. Immediately after, and maybe while you are still taking in the atmosphere, your server will ask how many are in your party and seat you based on that. Now, this is a first for me, but I actually got seated with another traveler who was by themself. This is something I wouldn't have expected, but I'm not gonna complain about it. If it gets me a seat, I don't really care who I sit with as long as they are nice, respectable people I can along with. You can scan the QR code to order, but I chose not to do this and instead look at the menus to see what was good. The guy who I was with ordered about a beer and a pulled pork sandwich. My order was the Texas BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger with no tomato and a Mezcal Mango Margarita. Lately I had been growing an appreciation for Mezcal drinks after doing an appetizer tasting Yelp Event back in my state. I didn't get the waiter's name, but he was fine. Got the job done, and neither of us had to wait too long for our food and drinks. I chose to only ask the other traveler about the pulled pork sandwich. I had enough beers in my lifetime to safely say that beer didn't really need to be questioned on such short notice and should be decided for ourselves how they taste. He remarked it was good, but messy. His sandwich looked that way, so I decided to trust his word there. Now for my meal, I will say the burger was good, had a bit of spice to it. I think in the end it was the right thing for me to get this night. The only knock I will say against it is that the patties were on the thin side, but it was still a good burger. Now for the margarita, this like the burger felt like it was the right thing for me to get on this night, but I also feel like there is a way to improve on it. You had a salted rim on the cup, and the salt here is pretty limited. The drink itself hit the spot, but I feel like this kind of drink would go best if this was rimmed with Tajin instead. Mezcal drinks are definitely more of a smoky demeanor if you ask me. Because I had not yet deposited my reimbursed cash, I paid this with cash and left a $10 cash tip, letting the other traveler know before I had left so that the waiter would know. At the end of the day, I will say this is a good place to stop and eat if you have time before your flight. Just be prepared to sit with someone you don't know.
