Bacon (where?) egg and cheese biscuit this morning. Can't wait for Biscuitville to open again.

I have visited Bojangles several times since moving here in 2019 hoping for improvements but the quality is inconsistent and generally poor.

I love Bojangles. This one is new and seems to be struggling so I tried to figure out why. Service is great. People are super nice. The food is mostly great. They promote the local JF team. The music is cc. Plenty of parking. Great location. So I asked around to see what the word of mouth is. I was told people didn't like the biscuits. Well that's a pretty key reason people come to Bojangles. So the next time I checked them out closely. People are right. The biscuits are not light and fluffy like others. Flat and cakey. They need a new recipe or maybe a new chef. Other than that the only thing I noticed were some cleaning issues near the ice tea area. A couple fruit flies. Fix these issues and it gets a five stars. I hope they do. I love Bojangles.

My daughter found 4 ants in her Sierra Mist after drinking it all. Who knows how many were actually in there

As a quick meal, we get some good ol' Bojangles (or bow-hong-lays as my family says). Quick, but not always the most accurate service.

Upscale without being stiff, comfortable without losing that polished feel. I ordered the jambalaya, and it was a standout. Well layered flavor, not overly heavy, with a nice balance of spice and richness. The proteins were cooked properly and the vegetables still had structure, which matters in a dish like that. It felt intentional, not just thrown together for a brunch menu. Across the table, the Eggs Benedict was equally strong. The hollandaise was smooth and properly seasoned, not overly lemony or thick, and the eggs were cooked right where they should be. That is often where places miss, but this one didn't. Dessert was where things really elevated. The strawberry cheesecake was clean, bright, and not overly sweet, with a good texture that held together without being dense. The chocolate Rasberry glutin-free dessert torte, was rich in the right way. Deep chocolate flavor without crossing into heavy or overwhelming. Service was attentive without hovering, and timing between courses was well paced, which is not easy on a busy holiday like Easter. Overall, this is a place that clearly pays attention to execution. Not just presentation, but flavor, balance, and consistency. That is what separates a good brunch from one you remember. We will be back.

Perfect crust! So cinnamon-y sweet I ate the whole thing without syrup! Soft scrambled eggs were like heaven. Pork sausage links were so juicy. The grilled potato's so, so good, paired with the sausage it was the perfect amount of salt. I also got a side of sautéed mushrooms, you cannot go wrong with that combo if you love all of these things. The chef really cares for his craft. The vibe of the Acorn Hill Lodge And Bistro is absolutely adorable. Neon light sign in the window, Christmas lights wrapped around supports. Not too bright, not too dark. Again, perfect for early morning! They have more amenities and businesses on sight I hope to check out in the future. No photos, I ate it all too fast. Sorry, not sorry. 10/10! Get those Pancakes!

The waitress never apologized or explained. I had to ask for a box and the check because she was just looking at me without saying anything. Also the food wasn't fantastic either. The eggs weren't totally cooked, the quesadilla was soggy on one side, and I asked for an English muffin but got white bread instead. We asked for berries on the French toast and that was not added. For waiting 45 minutes the meal wasn't anything special. Im giving it a 2 star because the food wasn't disgusting and the environment was relaxing and laid back, oh and the friendly black cat when we walked in was cute.
