Bolay was good, but I really prefer Grill Fresh, behind the Swamp. They have better options and better sauces. They are similar in healthy options, menu set up, but Grill Fresh is better food, sauce and atmosphere. Bolay has more parking. Clean and friendly staff. read more

So I never write reviews for places but I just had to for Bolay. This is my first time eating here and I am absolutely blown away. The food is so good and healthy and the service is great. I was served by Jade and he was so nice and so helpful, explaining everything and how it works as this was my first visit. They will even give you samples of things so you can try it first to make sure you'll like it. I would highly recommend the barbecue chicken, it's perfectly sweet and tangy. They also have amazing soda with no artificial sweeteners and no high fructose corn syrup and I tried every flavor and they're all so good. Only downsides to Bolay are that it is kinda expensive and it's freezing inside so either bring a jacket or sit outside lol, but still deserves 5 stars read more

Bowl-yay! Flavorful, fresh bowls of veggies and protein offer a fast healthy option for lunch and dinner. There is no table service here, but it only takes minutes to go thru the line, choose your base, veggies, protein, and toppings. My favorites are the Asian sweet potato noodles, Peruvian quinoa, Golden kale salad, roasted Brussel sprouts, balsamic mushrooms, ginger broccoli, and miso glazed tofu. My teenage son swears by the cilantro noodles (contains dairy), Moroccan rice, green beans, Cajun sweet potatoes, and Spicy Thai shrimp. Every dish is gluten-free and almost every dish is dairy-free or vegan (aside from the meat, chicken and seafood). They also offer delicious kombucha from Non-Prophet Brewing, Co. in Boynton Beach. If you are looking for a quick healthy meal, you will be happy with Bolay. In placing your order, consider how the unique flavor of each dish and topping will combine with your other choices. Just had an amazing first experience at Bolay! I went up to the counter, new to Bolay, and young gentleman at the counter instantly noticed I looked a little lost. He was so helpful giving me samples of different items to try and extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients included. I was thrilled to see a college student deliver such excellent customer service. And did I mention, my bowl was amazing! Such fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. My wife and I decided to try Bolay after hearing a friend rave about their brussels sprouts. Except for the occasional fresh fish, we are both vegetarians, so after looking at the menu online, I was excited to try this place. We weren't exactly sure how to order when we got there, and the menu was not as straightforward as I would have liked. This is one of those places where depending on the size of the bowl you order, you get to choose 'x' amount of base items, 'x' amount of veggies/sides, and 'x' amount of proteins, etc.... except that there was only one physical size bowl for everyone. (For me at least, I like to use the bowl size to determine how much food I want to order - sort of like picking which size drink to order at a movie theater.) This is also one of those places (and this REALLY bothers me) where they do NOT display the PRICES! I know this is the new marketing strategy that many businesses now employ (see the ice cream place right next store to them), and honestly, I know it's a profitable strategy for these places that cater to the millennial students that just swipe with a plastic card that gets replenished each month by mommy and daddy. The kids don't ask the price, and they don't usually care. Personally, I find this marketing tactic irritating. (I am looking at their website now as I write this, and i see no prices listed there either.) So, I ordered the large bowl and proceeded down the line... only to find that they did not have the brussels sprouts that I wanted so badly :(. The employee behind the counter smirked "We had them before, but you missed out." (not what I wanted to hear from this youngster) They also did not have the Ahi Tuna. That meant that the only protein left that I could have was the tofu. And yet they STILL wanted to charge me for a Large bowl. I explained that I was no longer being offered two proteins. Their fix then was to offer adding another veggie side item to the bowl. The items that i tried were actually not bad, but the portions were really tiny. The bowl I got did NOT look like the full bowl pics that are shown on their website. So, bottom line is that the food was decent tasting, but this is not enough of an incentive to draw me back into this establishment. Only been once so far, but this place! All GF menu, offering vegetarian, vegan, & meat--a place where I can eat w/all my friends! I was impressed w/menu choices, quality of ingredients, and how unexpectedly delicious everything was. Build-your-own-bowl style service, spare but clean & attractive seating w/quick table delivery and cleanup by staff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Prices reasonable and serving size quite adequate--I got a small bowl for lunch and had leftovers for dinner. This is exactly what Gainesville needs! The food was fresh and very flavorful. The veggies were cooked to perfection. I had the quinoa, broccoli and incredibly tender apricot glazed pork. The customer service and whole atmosphere was welcome and inviting. The price and portion size was perfect for a college student on a budget that wants to eat right.
