Came to this small mall strip to drop off Fed Ex package and saw signs of Indian food .. so being at about 5 pm aroma of cooking is in parking lot .. May be that brought me in ?? Ordered Masala Dosa Idli and sambhar.. see photos came fast and went fast thru my mouth to digestive system.. one tip ask them how hot is their sambhar .. my was really hot but you can order mild or medium Owner was nice enough to give me Gulab Jamun for free to cool my tongue .. and throat as suggested by someone. Clean two uni sex bathrooms and just enough parking outside.

This place caught my boyfriend and I by surprise! We stopped here after driving up to New York from Philadelphia. Best food we've had in a long time! We got the chicken vindaloo, chili Gobi, and Tikka Masala. Perfect amount of spice, and amazing service. The food was 10/10. We're definitely making the one hour drive up from Philly to come here was worth it.

It's getting worse and worse every time we order. Why to ask the spice level if you can't make anything but extremely hot?! Also the size of balls in malai kofta is getting smaller and smaller, I am afraid soon we will have to use a magnifying glass to find them.

Unhygienic, filthy and dirty restaurant - the host+waiter was even more rude, arrogant (not sure why!!) and nasty! Please avoid this restaurant at any cost and here are the reasons why: 1) We ordered gobi 65 (cauliflower 65) that had an extra crunch due to "dirt" in the dish 2) We ordered Vegetable Noodles that had additional human hair as toppings 3) Water bottle is served for drinking water but my 70 year old father asked asked to open the bottle cap, the waiter replies "sorry sir I cannot do that now - very busy" I hope the NJ Department of Health reads this review and audits their food cooking practices as it's only a matter of time that other customers would start reporting same issues! Do yourself a favor, cook hygienic food at homer and eat rather than going and spending money at this dirty & filthy restaurant with rudest staff and chef in Nee Jersey!!! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We were driving from Philadelphia to Boston and felt hungry around NJ. After googling for a while, this seemed to be a great option. The reviews were good and the location was right next to the highway. So we decided to give it a try. The place was decent, clean, not too crowded. The menu was like any other Indian restaurant menu. Some of us ordered South Indian food like Dosa, Uthappam while others took curries with Roti. The Dosa was good, but the Uthappam was not well cooked, so avoid it if possible. The sambar and chutney that came along with it were okay, not that great. We ordered two curries - Palak Paneer and Malai Kofta - and both were delicious! Loved them with roti and rice. After the meal, we wanted to have Lassi. The lassi was served too late. Our expectation was that they would remove it from a refrigerator and serve it to us. But to our surprise, they told us that they make lassi fresh every time after the order is placed. Because it was made fresh, it tasted TOO GOOD! So a tip for you - If you plan to have lassi, order it in the beginning when you order the food or even before that. If I lived nearby (or during my next trip to NJ), I would go again to try their non-vegetarian curries and biryani! We also noticed that the service was slow, probably because they cook the food fresh for each order, so don't consider this as a negative point.

I love Sunday buffet is really good taste good also the Marsala chai teaBasmati good

Stale Biryani - stale Chicken 65 pieces sprinkled with stale Biryani rice! Shame!

I would never go to this place again. I ordered boneless Chicken Boneless Biryani, Gongura Goat Curry, Andhra Chicken curry and two rotis All dishes were not freshly cooked, stale, and haphazardly warmed in the microwave. Biryani: NOT AUTHENTIC BIRYANI! Biryani rice spread over red fried Chicken 65 pieces. Probably left over from appetizer. Ghongura Mutton: salty, hardly any meat, selectively bony pieces. Stale. Not fresh. Rice was not freshly made - stale and hard Rotis: Not freshly made. Brought from an Indian supermarket! It's better to purchase frozen dishes from your local Indian supermarket than spend $50 and get cheated! Owner argued with us that it was all freshly made!! No sense of Customer Service!! NEVER AGAIN SHALL I EAT HERE AGAIN!

Excellent home style Indian food in a cute, cozy little restaurant with friendly service. We especially loved the gobi Manchurian.

We ordered Mutton biryani from here and it was stale and the meat was dry. This was not a weekday, it was in a Saturday night.

I walked in on a rainy Friday night shortly after 10pm and it was freezing cold on the inside. Shreya was working the register and was extremely present and nice to speak with. I asked for her recommendations and of course she suggested the burger. I took her up on that option and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. She said the fries were also a must. I was extremely hungry, so I also ordered the Chicken Club Burger, crispy instead of grilled. She asked me if there was anything else I needed and I jokingly said a side of heat. She checked with the other patrons inside to see if they were cold along with Jenn who was working and they concurred as well. Within minutes she was on the phone with the owner who quickly addressed the issue by cutting on the heat. A few moments and I could tell things were warming up. Now onto the food. Everything was hot. The burger was delicious, but nothing was too special. The fries were seasoned well and had a spicy sauce to go with them. The Fried Chicken club was AMAZING! By far the biggest chicken sandwich I had ever eaten. The chicken was juicy. I could taste the cheese and the bacon. The chicken was way bigger than the bun. I wish I had ordered two. Overall I had a fabulous time here. The seating area was clean. Customer service was excellent. They made sure I was taken care of. The food is good. If I'm in the area again id definitely stop by.

Halal Guys is a fast, casual type of place that has dine-in or carry out options. There's plenty of seating if you choose to eat in. I'm here close to once a week and they have never let me down. My go-to order is a regular platter with half spicy BBQ chicken ($1.00 upcharge) and half regular chicken. Add onions and white sauce, and I'll take a packet of the hot sauce to go. Total cost is under $16.00 for a good amount of food. All platters come with lettuce, tomatoes, rice, and pita. There are several free toppings as well as ones that are available at an additional charge. Highly recommend you get a good serving of the white sauce and if you're brave, add a line of the red sauce. I usually like mild to medium spicy dishes and the red sauce is definitely HOT, not medium, so I get a packet to go so I can add it myself. The spicy BBQ chicken is already made with the red sauce and I've found half spicy, half regular is the chef's kiss for my preferred spice level. I feel like vegetables are often under-appreciated, but they need a mention here...always super cold and crisp, which is refreshing when you've got to quell the heat. If you haven't, definitely give these guys a try!

You don't pay for a wonderful "experience" --- that was never part of the package. UMI Premium Sushi & Seafood Buffet changes that, and offers the Chinese Buffet in a setting that is bright, open, and beautifully decorated. There is no real "server" when you come here, all of the servers work as a collective --- you call one down, they bring you your drink, another passes by they collect your plate. These workers definitely work in harmony. Now I have to say: this Buffet is a bit pricier than the normal "Flaming Grill & Buffet" --- adults are $23.99 and kids are between $11-16. But remember: you getting not just the food --- your getting what most other buffets don't offer: AN EXPERIENCE. Besides the "hot dishes" like hibachi beef and orange chicken, UMI Premium Sushi & Seafood Buffet offers a wide variety not seen anywhere else: Hot Pot anyone? Included! Ramen? Included! Unlimited Bubble Tea? Included! Beverages? Included! Taste-wise I was thoroughly impressed. Since this is a popular buffet, it seems the food is refreshed quite often, meaning nothing will remain in the warmers for too long. Some of my favorites? Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Braised Pork Belly, and the Cantaloupe Boba Tea. True to it's name, this Buffet exceeded my expectations, was an absolute EXPERIENCE and I can't wait for another visit!
