Taco Tuesday? More like taco Wednesday. Waited 90 mins and no food. Left without ever receiving our order. Def better options locally

My order was is INSANELY good, (I'm writing this as I eat) I honestly don't understand all the bad type of Karen reviews, this is honestly the best taco I ever had since I moved to USA, order came all clean and organized, they send me a lime crema on a side, this bish is the best, I was tired of cooking my own food so I decided to order from this place. Bomba Taco you have a new customer! I saw people complaining about the staff, maybe there's a issue with that, I didn't went there yet so idk, but the food is amazing. So delicious. Thank for making my quarantine meal so yummy. :) Ordered 4 tacos, Blckn Fish, Chix Tinga, Crispy shrimp, Pastor Pork. Also a order of cheesy bread and churros. All fantastic. read more

Not necessarily a date night spot because they close at 9pm but an awesome lunch and dinner spot. We had dinner here. Super fast service and loved the variety of tacos. Cannot find these kinds of tacos anywhere else around this area. Chips and salsa were very unique too. Loved them. Only reason it is not a 5 was the noise level. My poor son is partially deaf and hard of hearing and could not hear much of our conversations because it was so loud inside. Even the "loud environment" kept going off on my Apple watch. read more

Food was good. Service was a tad below average. Ambiance was decent. Their tacos was creative and great. But the service is very slow and spotty. Very pleasant but maybe a little understaffed like many restaurants now. We will try it again. I would give it a 3.5. But Yelp doesn't let you do that. So I will give it a 4. read more

We went in at 7:45pm, at 8:25 we were approached by someone who was NOT our waitress and handed waters. No communication Of the whereabouts of our waitress. After approaching the hostess we were still not given any direction. We left right after. Side note, our corporate office is being relocated 2 minutes around the corner and we were excited to check it out and come here regularly. We will all not be coming back. read more

The food is good. The service is much to be desired. Service has declined a lot over the past year or so. Sat for 10 min waiting for a refill. Considering the food can be spicy the service should be faster. You are lucky if you see the server once before you need your check. Please do better. Refilling drinks is a small thing and it affects the whole meal when your mouth is burning and you need a drink. read more

Another winner from the owners of Paladar! I was happy to see some of my favorite Paladar items on the menu here, like the gluten free cheesy bread and customizable guacamole. But overall the menu is more casual than at Paladar. Think lots of creative tacos, huge plates of charred shishito peppers and rice bowls that you can choose to have made with cauliflower rice! Bomba is the only restaurant in the area to offer cauliflower rice and I love it. Great happy hour specials and a festive atmosphere located among a bunch of new spots in Malvern. Don't miss the sweet potato doughnuts for dessert. I wish the margaritas had more tequila - I can drink several and not feel a thing. read more

Bomba has shockingly good food! I've never had a bad taco here. They also do great salads, bowls and yucca fries. And the margs are on point. They have a few different interesting flavors, all well made. I like the charred pineapple. You might be waiting for a while, especially on a weekend, so just keep that in mind and be polite to the servers - they'll return the favor. read more

We just finished our meal here. We ordered the custom guacamole with garlic and pico, 10 pick taco sampler, and black beans. The black beans are fresh and delicious. The guacamole arrived after the tacos and was clearly not customized. The shrimp, crispy shrimp, pastor, roasted chicken, chipotle beef, and adobo shrimp were all delicious. My husband loved the tuna poke taco. I wasn't a fan - the tortilla really overpowered the flavor. The carne asada tacos and crispy avocado tacos were also not the best. That said, most of the tacos were delicious and you have to try them all because my tastes may be different than yours. Overall awesome atmosphere, great food, and the margaritas were also wonderful. Just had an amazing first dinner at Bomba tonight. Place was packed. Food was incredible!!! Margaritas were fantastic, especially the Superior and the Charred Pineapple. BBQ pork taco with fried onions was outstanding. Host and hostess were extremely professional nail and very nice to talk with. More than one manager stopped by to say hello and ask how our experience was. Our waiter was by far one of the best waiters I have EVER had. I would highly recommend experiencing Bomba not only for the great food but to be welcomed by this fantastic new group of people. It is sure to be the new Malvern hot spot. read more

Tasty stuff. I ordered online and picked up so I can't speak for service but the food was flavorful and fresh. My only complaints for the take out is the fried Brussel sprouts needed to be drained better of oil before being packaged and the "pickled" cucumbers were no pickled at all but rather just fresh cucumber slices sitting in a slightly vinegar/sweet solution. Even a "quick pickle" or marinade they should have absorbed more flavor from the brine or marinade. So that was disappointing, but the rest of the food was good enough for me to give them another chance. So like Arnold, I'll be back. read more

Good experience during happy hour, however serving sizes a bit small and service was rushing us out of the door. Really appreciate HH being in the dining room, not just bar! Margaritas were perfect and priced right for HH. The guacamole was tasty, but small serving. Also did not appreciate the waiter trying to up sell us to double price of guac. We enjoyed 2 out of 4 of our tacos, the others were a bit bland. Churros were great! I just wish we weren't pressured to speed up our dining with constant check-ins at our table read more

We waited for 30mins and no waiter came and we had to ask around for a waiter/waitress to take our order and to get water. I agree with previous recent comments, the service was extremely slow. I love not being rushed at a restaurant, but the service could have been much better, especially because I could tell they had plenty of staff hanging around inside. My server also used the F word in front of us which I didn't appreciate. Luckily we didn't have children at our table, but I still found it unacceptable. With all of that being said, the food was absolutely delicious. I love their variety of tacos!! And the margarita & salsa trio was fun to see on the menu. I tried the margarita trio and got the orange hibiscus, pomegranate ginger, and tradition house margaritas. All were good but the pomegranate ginger was my favorite! I also tried the queso with chorizo & mango salsa as appetizers. Would highly recommend based on food, but the manager needs to have a meeting with his/her team on improving their customer experience. read more

Service was good. The atmosphere and ambiance was good. Great outdoor area with live music. But the reason it's only getting 3 stars is the food was very mediocre for the price. Got the street tacos and the street corn. Kids got quesadillas and chicken fingers. The tacos didn't have much flavor to them and the kids didn't care for the chicken or quesadillas. Street corn was good. I had the house and specialty spicy watermelon margaritas, which were both good, but seemed to be on the smaller size. I typically get frozen margaritas so my perception might just be off. Lots of better Mexican food in the area. read more

I have no axe to grind, just an honest assessment of a place I have wanted to try. Margaritas were tasty, if a bit sugary - weak. Guac was very good. Shashito peppers were horrible. Underdone, not blistered at all, and no salt. Tacos-I ordered two fish, but got chicken, which were dry, over seasoned. The carne asada should be just "carne sad" - three small pieces of burnt meat. Ordered a cocktail after dinner and was given rye rather than the bourbon I ordered. The hostess who took the orders did not bring them and the young lady who did could not communicate to rectify. Pleasant server and a nice place with a casual atmosphere, but for the prices and the food, you would be better served going elsewhere. read more

Food was not gluten free as chosen for delivery. This order was for an allergy. After calling the store I was instructed to go to Bomba so they could look at the very obviously flour tortillas (thank god it was obvious) for a replacement, after already paying for a delivery, the host at the front was not wearing a mask at all and neither were any of the other staff clustered around him. Oof. The worst. It looks so cute on the outside, but don't be fooled; looks are deceiving. My family and I were fine with waiting 35 minutes to be seated as they quoted us, but then this wait turned into upwards of 50 minutes as other parties that came in after us got seated before us. They forgot about us, and after 45 minutes of waiting we checked in again with the host and they seated us right away. Anyway, we sat and ordered guacamole which promptly had TWO hairs in it. So nasty. We told our waiter and he said "I'm sorry to hear that." A pretty lackluster response if you ask any paying customer. The food was mediocre and the service was laaaaame. So, the additional reason I may not be returning: our waitress did not wear a mask. She wasn't the only one though. Only one waiter wore a mask. Friday night, needed somewhere to go that was easy and fun. We decided to try Bombas Tacos at The Grove. Atmosphere was fun, our server Jen was so nice and the food was very good. Jen made many suggestions that we liked and she helped me to pick a cocktail that was to my taste, she actually made it from scratch because I found the drinks sort of on the sweet side. The décor and ambience was super cool at this location however the food was not impressive. I went there for lunch during the work day and got their lunch special: 2 tacos and a side. I got the carne asada and shredded chicken tacos with beans and rice. None of the food was warm, took quite a while to come out and was extremely bland. The carne asada was so chewy I couldn't really eat it. They brought me a shrimp taco instead of my chicken one. They did correct this but the chicken taco wasn't much better, again extremely bland, room temp and chewy. The beans and rice were plain white rice and black beans, no seasoning at all.
