I was made to feel embarrassed for not knowing that two extra waxing strips would cost an additional $22, and that the travel-size wipes were $13 after being told they were free. I am a true believer in PT but in this case, PT didn't help. My hamstring muscles were very tight, I could not get them to relax even with PT exercises. At that time, a friend suggested getting a massage and referred me to Yukiko Halvorson. At my first massage appointment with Yukiko, she worked on my hamstrings. With deep tissue massage, Yukiko, worked magic on my hamstrings and got them to relax for the first time in many weeks. I started out receiving one hour massages and have now worked up to 2 hour massages once a month. Yukiko is located in downtown Bellevue, one block north of Main Street in Old Bellevue. She has a parking spot reserved up front for her clients. Since moving to this new space (Namaste Healing Spa), Yukiko has incorporated hot stones into her massages. Combining deep tissue massage and hot stones really helps to relax my muscles. I highly recommend Yukiko Halvorson.

Galaxy Beauty Salon is the worst business with the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I called them regarding 3 appointments for both hairstyle and makeup for a two-day long event. I called them 10 times in 3 days and they only replied once. The most recent time I called was yesterday and they told us after they get all the information from us, they would call us back the next day by 1pm, but for the past 3 days they've just been wasting my time. Right now it's 4 pm, but I've still not received a call back. I need appointments for an upcoming wedding ceremony and many places just started re-opening after COVID, so every salon is busy and all the appointments are booked very fast. I missed availabilities at other locations just for these people. I can tell they are untrustworthy and unprofessional. They don't care about the value of the customers' time. read more

New to the town and was looking for a salon for all hygienic needs - Wax, threading etc. Guess what I found it here !! Both the ladies Jyot and Raj are very polite and makes it feel like home. Great take aways and impressive enough to be a loyal customer: 1. Very hygienic - They used 'use and throw' gown for waxing, this definitely impressed me. 2. They used hard wax for underarms which is so unlike Indian salons. 3. They are generous in using products as well, not like other cheap cost saving mean Indian salons 4. Detailed job & small little things that will make you feel happy as in - giving you a rubber band to tie hair when getting waxed , Giving you a small box to keep your rings and other accessories. I am so happy to have found Jyot and Raj! The experience is so great, they both care so much about their customers, and their space is absolutely adorable. These women are experts and I would follow them anywhere! I will NEVER go back to another salon for the convenience factor. The best Brazilian wax ever!!! Unlike other places I've tried, I've never experienced red bumps, ingrown hairs or inflammation after waxing with them. I have been going to Galaxy Beauty Saloon from almost 2 years now and I must say that I have never been disappointed. Jyot usually takes care of my eyebrows threading and she does great job, every single time with patience. Raj usually takes care of waxing and henna and she is also amazing at her job. In addition to that they have a appointment system so that you don't have to wait for your turn. Always on time. Also for shorter jobs they are able to squeeze folks in- between appointment. I am going to this Salon for 4 years and they provide amazing service everytime. Was impressed with the way they have adapted to the Covid situation. Before entering, my temperature was checked, hand sanitized and mask provided. Instead of moving me around different service, they arranged everything in one room to reduce touchpoints. Everyone in the salon were wearing mask all time. They also introduced a new way to do threading by not using their mouth to hold the thread. I was amazed by all the precautions they took. Raj and Jyot are really talented in all the services they provide at the salon (Waxing, threading etc). I have been here numerous times and never been disappointed. They are fast, efficient, try their best to ensure that I'm always happy! I went in today to get a much needed haircut and totally loved the experience. She did an excellent job, was professional and worked very quickly. I wanted to get short hair, so she was extremely careful, cutting a few inches off at a time and checking in to see if I was okay with the length. I'm going to Galaxy Beauty Salon for 3 years already and I'm very happy with their services. I usually go for eyebrows threading and henna hair and I was never disappointed. Online booking is very easy, and they have reasonable prices. Very clean, they check temperature before you enter, also sanitizer, masks and gloves are provided. It's worth noting that this is a long process; treatments are done monthly, so patience is key. But honestly, I wish I'd done this years ago because not having to shave is a game-changer! Not only do they excel at laser hair removal, but they also offer eyebrow threading--and they do an excellent job! It's a great option for keeping your brows looking sharp. A tip for newcomers: they have great Groupon deals, but if you call or visit them directly, they'll honor the same pricing. That's a nice little perk.

During both of my sessions, I was never given laser safety eyewear. When I asked about eye protection, staff told me it wasn't necessary because the machine is "3D." After my second session, I researched the device. The "3D" in Soprano Titanium refers to its three wavelengths (755nm / 810nm / 1064nm) -- it has nothing to do with eye safety. In fact, the 1064nm wavelength can reach the retina, and the manufacturer specifies laser-rated eye protection for patients as standard. Every reputable clinic provides it. This one didn't, and worse, gave me a made-up explanation when I asked. If a facility cuts corners on something as basic as eye protection -- and confidently gives customers false safety information -- I can't trust anything else about their safety practices: machine settings, maintenance, staff training, any of it. I cancelled my remaining 4 sessions. I couldn't get a refund through Groupon and had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Do your research. Your eyes don't grow back.
