I got the vegetarian dish today for my Friday lunch. I was looking forward to it all day and Bombay did not disappoint. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I Grubhubbed this. I got the Lamb Curry Roll (spicy chutney) and Samosas + chutney. This was really good. The Lamb Curry Roll was delicious. It was very flavorful and a good portion. The Samosas were also really tasty. I'll order this again.

Ordered a Chicken Tikka Wrap with flaky paratha, spicy, with extra spicy cilantro chutney. Had it delivered via uberEats. The delivery was very fast- under 20 min. Was not initially thrilled, as the wrap breading had a tear in it right when I opened it. Kind of feels like a slap in the face that someone obviously made this for me in a torn wrapper. Did not look too appetizing either. However, it did taste very good. Very fragrant and flavorful spices and chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry. Enough pros that I would order from here again.

They participate in the TooGoodtogo app. The food was fresh fast casual. There are plenty of meat and meatless options. For around $10 you can fill up here.

I've found my new spot to grab food near the Merchandise Mart. Bombay wraps is just a few blocks south and miles better than most nearby options. I had a rice bowl with Chana Masala (about $8) and a Paratha ($1.29) - for about $10 my lunch was very filling. I ordered "spicy" and received a nice slathering of hot green chutney - overall the flavors were really good for a counter service "fast food" place. It was spicy indeed and there was a lot of actual spice flavor in my chickpeas. The paratha was a little hard but flaky and a good companion for my delicious curry. The place was plenty clean and the people working were nice. BW reminds me of my favorite fast Pakistani place at home so I'll definitely be back next time I'm nearby.

Food portion was perfect, taste was delicious, and I'd definitely recommend to someone looking for something fast but not "fast food" like. :)

Amazing quick eats that will hit your craving of spicy, savory food! I love so many things about Bombay Wraps - it was really quick service, the food (especially the paratha) was fresh, the ambiance is casual but clean, and they had 6 different sauces to add on top. I also have never had pistachio lassi before and it was D E L I C I O U S. It was rich, flavorful and not overly sweet! I ended up trying the chicken tikka and chicken reshmi wrap - I preferred the chicken tikka one because it had more flavor but the reshmi is also delicious for someone who wants a more subtle flavor. The food is very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. One thing that I wish was different was I wish I could put more toppings in my wrap instead of just the cabbage. Regardless, I def will be coming back to Bombay Wraps and will recommend it to anyone who wants a quick delicious lunch!

What. So good. Indian food wrapped almost like a burrito? Genius. Only complaint is that each wrap needs to be bigger!

Good lunch spot in the loop if you want Indian food. Food is tasty, but a bit pricey, it would be nice if a wrap was $3 instead of $4-5.

Affordable and flavorful Indian food (4/5 Green Stars)…read moreBombay Eats began as Bombay Wraps in 2010 and has just completed a name-change and rebranding. Considering the old name, I ordered wraps, figuring they do them well - and they did! I ordered the cheese paneer wrap ($6.99) and the potato cauliflower wrap ($6.49) to go and they were assembled fast in front of my eyes. The server explained that the mild sauce was a 3/10 while the spicy was 7/10, so I went with the mild and I'm glad I did as it had a bit of a kick! The wraps (choice of paratha or whole wheat roti) themselves are delicious and the spicy fillings are nicely balanced with some shredded cabbage/lettuce. For $17 including tax + tip it was a lot of food - a large dinner for one or lunch for two. I highly recommend Bombay Eats for quick flavorful Indian street food and will visit again when I (hopefully) make it back to Chicago. I want to try all of their "messy" sides next. Messy sweet potato fries, topped with paneer, tikka masala sauce, chutney & fresh cilantro? Yes please! I'm also rating Bombay Eats 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Bombay Eats seems to be a well-loved by locals and the owners are known as a decent people. * They have a Bombay Cares program where they participate in fundraisers. Coming up in June - the Alzheimer's Association. * A good spot for vegans and vegetarians. The website has a nice guide (vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, Halal, etc.) to each component (wrap, filling, sauce, etc.) so everything's clear. * The biggest thing that Bombay Eats could do for the planet is to stick with chicken as the main meat offering and ditch the beef and lamb. The environmental footprints (carbon, land, etc.) of beef and lamb are more than10 times higher than those of chicken. It would be nice to see seitan or other plant proteins instead of the beef and lamb. * Packaging for my wraps was fairly minimal: foil-coated paper and a small paper bag.

However, I don't love that such places almost always: Have high prices, exclusively large portions, and at times, less-than-stellar quality. Enter Bombay Eats! Don't get me wrong, they have bowls too, if that's what you're into, but they also have rolls and wraps. What makes these even better is that they are very reasonably priced (~$6.50/each), and a smaller portion without making one feel guilty or weird for ordering a kids meal. The website states "1 wrap = a snack. 1 wrap + side or 2 wraps = a meal" Not wanting to be stuffed, I ordered a single Chicken Reshmi Wrap, Spicy, in a Flaky Paratha. The bread is legit! It is warm and slightly flaky, being removed fresh from a hot griddle, rather than from a bag. The protein was tender, flavorful, and in ample amounts. The veggies were fresh and tasty (the pickled onions, for example, were well-marinated). As for sauces, I only responded to "Spicy or mild" with "Spicy" and got something perfectly sauced with mild, gently warming heat. The service is polite and efficient, no complaints there. The vibe is simple, and has a good use of color to keep from being depressing. Everything is also very clean. Finally, I appreciate the large container of water and plastic cups. Final verdict: Bombay Eats has done something remarkable. It took a concept that was done to death thanks to trends (I suppose?), and has refined it just enough to give me cravings as I write this review.

Nothing was great - my pecan sticky bun was borderline stale, the other breakfast items were OK (burrito and sandwich) but ordinary, they messed up the coffee order (and initially refused to believe it), and most weirdly tried to gate keep which table we sat at, for no other reason than they seemed to want to. All in all we would not go back again. There are so many better places.

They still have a 1990s menu, but with 2026 prices. (Honestly on the low side for 2026.) Notable: Cocktails are $10. We didnt have any, but $10 is looking like a very good deal these days. Fried pickles came recommended. On one hand they weren't greasy and the breading stayed on. On the other hand, they really lacked flavor. Like almost no discernible flavor, and the breading was on the thick side. Wouldn't get them again. If I eat fried pickles, I want them to taste at least a little pickle-y. Happy to see that the "salad bar" is now a thing where you order a custom salad with a little sheet and a gold pencil and don't have to march around the room with a plate and make your own salad. We split an entree salad and a buffalo chicken wrap. The salad was very good, and exactly as ordered. The pico de gallo we ordered with it had no heat. Heat would have ben nice, but maybe the giardinara would have neen a better option for us. The wrap was pretty good. Buffalo sauce was on the sweet side. They split the wrap order for us without us having to ask for it and gave us each an enormous mound of fries. Shoestring style fries that accommodates fans of McDonald's fries. We had to take most of the wrap home and found it worked even better chopped up on a salad for dinner. With extra hot sauce. I kept getting the feeling at RJ Grunts that the menu is skewed toward children's tastes. Or just homogenized. It used to be a pretty big tourist destination. And the food wasn't bad; it just wasn't incredible. The service, however, was incredible. From the moment we walked in, we were engaged warmly with a clear focus on customer satisfaction. Especially for how busy it was, our server was hugely attentive to detail and never seemed rushed or made us feel rushed. The next time we're in the area, we will probably be back. I tried the french onion soup and that was really good! I ordered the buffalo chicken tenders and I didn't like that they just drizzled the buffalo sauce over the tenders. Either drench them in buffalo sauce or just don't put any on and let me dip them in myself lol. I don't think they were worth the $18 price either. They tasted okay and the fries were meh (even though they charge extra for fries, there was nothing special about them). Maybe I'd come back to try their milkshakes and get the french onion soup again. My sisters got cheeseburgers and liked them, which is what they are known for apparently. The sandwich had candied bacon on it with this perfect sweet flavor, and it normally comes with honey Dijon--but I don't do Dijon, so I swapped it for this garlic sauce ‍ And when I say that garlic tanginess mixed with the sweet candied bacon... whew. Chef's kiss. Absolute perfection. My boyfriend got the steak wok bowl with corn, broccoli, brown rice, and some other veggies--and I definitely stole a few bites It was SO good. Like... flavorful, fresh, just everything. The whole vibe? Perfect for a lunch date. The ambiance was cute, relaxed, and just right And I loved that they serve room temperature water (because ice? not my thing ‍) But let's talk about the real star--our waiter Eli He was AMAZING. Super personable, funny, and just a whole vibe. He had the cutest red cat-eye nails and burgundy hair accents--like, style on point He told us he manages both the Gold Coast and River North locations, so I'm definitely hoping we run into him again. And when me and my boyfriend were holding hands at the end, he goes, "Aww this is so cute. I'm not jealous though" we all cracked up. Just made the experience even better. Listen... 5 stars is not enough. It's just not. If you've been thinking about going--THIS IS YOUR SIGN. Go. I promise you won't regret it

Our friend said one of her favorite places to suggest to visitors was Doc B's Restaurant. So, we gave it a try. The menu includes a wide variety of salads, wings, wraps, sandwiches and, my favorite, burgers. I was with a group of 4 and we all ordered burgers - and none of us opted for the same burger. So, our little group got to try 4 different burgers. And all four were delicious. Three of us ordered with a side of fries - also delicious. Great place for dinner in the Windy City.
