So incredibly average--don't get me wrong, the food is not bad. However, it's essentially Chipotle: South Asia style but the fairly long line during lunch and the fairly expensive prices ($10 gets you around one wrap) is not a good deal--the portions are very, very small and the wrap itself ends up tasting like a sugary crepe (with spicy vegetables in the middle). I got a lamb wrap, samosas, and mango lassi for $12. I consider that to be pretty expensive, considering the small portions. good grief, this place is wonderful. They are quick, not so cheap, but soooo good. I've tried the potato wrap and the paneer wrap. The owner saw my review and wrote back and suggested I try a different wrap and offered her apologies that I wasn't completely satisfied. This is definitely my favorite place to eat in the loop. It's close to my job, and it's quick and convenient. I always get the chicken tikka- whether it's in a wrap, rice bowl, or salad. Lately I've asked for the chicken in a bowl by itself (mild with onions) with some sweet potato fries on the side (which are always hot and crispy), and it's perfect because the chicken is so flavorful on its own. The chicken is always tender, too. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always so nice, as well. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I would definitely recommend it. read more

This is one of the cheaper lunch options in the loop, but you get what you pay for. The portions are a little smaller, but a wrap and a side were filling. The chickpea wrap was good but I would've asked for less onions. The samosas were tiny, and three of them still equaled less than an average sized samosa at a restaurant. The sweet potato fries were good too. The ketchup they have is more like a sweet and sour chili sauce than ketchup, but it goes well with the fries. read more

I would probably give this place 3.5 stars - so I am rounding up a little :) Its what you'd expect - very quick, affordable and above average Kati rolls. Its a good option to include in your lunch rotation for those working in the Loop. The food is not very heavy, which tends to be a standard complaint of Indian food. I have gone here several times and have stuck with the Chicken Tikka wrap which has yet to disappoint and satisfies my craving. I enjoyed my lunch at Bombay Wraps. The menu is small but easy to make decisions. The wraps are very good and I especially like the vegetarian options. The prices are very good and I felt I got a good value for my money. My friends each had the chicken wraps and loved them. I'm looking forward to my next visit to try some of the other wraps. Small 4-5 bite sandwiches that you can mix up and put together as a 2 or 3 sandwich platter and try a bunch of different meats, sauces and flavors for just a little bit more than your average fast food value meal price. I, unfortunately, do not have such self-control, so I always order a side of samosas (always ask for an extra sauce) to go with my favorite wraps: Lamb Curry (has a bit of a spicy kick), good ole Chicken Tikka, and a nice vegetarian option would be the Potato Tava. wow, i am really impressed with this kati roll joint. i didn't expect too much going in, but the chicken tikka wrap totally blew my mind. i got it medium spicy with a few little pickled jalopenos adding some crunch and sweat-inducing pizzazz to the wrap. although this is quite a walk from work (.7 miles), i will gladly make the trip again during my lunch hour. on the so-so side, the chai is a bit creamy/milky and i wasn't a fan of the soup. chicken tikka wrap all the way! read more

As many of the reviews warned, you'll need to get two wraps minimum. These babies are small. They also lack a lot of customization. I think the only things I was asked were whether I wanted it spicy and if I wanted onions. The wraps do taste pretty good though. Still, I'm giving this place 3 stars because calling it "Indian" is pretty misleading -- it's not particularly strong-flavored and doesn't have much to distinguish it as Indian. (Aside from the Thums Up for sale behind the counter.) I still plan to go back at some point when I'm in the mood for tasty-but-not-Indian Indian food. read more

Awwright! Something different ! Love the variety they offer as well as their perfect portion sizes. It's also great how they ask you if you want your wrap "spicy". Not only was my chicken tikka wrap very tasty- but I cleared out my sinuses,too! The mini samosas were also amazingly good, like everyone else has said. Nice staff, and it's also a plus to see your food prepared in front of you. Small space that appears to get slammed around 11:45 or so, so plan accordingly. I've never had any Indian cusine before so this was a good experience for me. I ordered the Tikka wrap spicy, and it did have a bit of heat to it, but nothing too strong. Quick, cheap, tasty, unique, and delicious. Perfect quick eats. Its not overcrowded like some places so you can have a conversation. They are very well staffed for lunchtime so it doesn't take long. The wraps are perfect temperature and they have a little spice. Their little desserts are pretty tasty too. I was there once so this review suffers from the pitfalls of low sample size. With that out of the way, the first thing that's sort of annoying is that their menu had very few items on it. In my case, they were out of the bread that goes on a lot of their entrees a good 3 hours before the closing time which made the menu even more limited. My biggest gripe was the server who seemed displeased that I was in the store at all. Everything he did from taking my order, answering any questions I had, to making my order was done in a begrudging manner. Maybe the dude had a bad day and I feel for him in that case, but my experience there left me feeling unwelcome.
