This was my first time having Indian food and I loved it! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - 2 entrees were perfect for 2 people to share.

Had a fantastic dinner at Bombay Palace! Ample parking as this restaurant is located in a strip mall. We were greeted and taken to our table immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. Our food was fantastic! I ordered the lamb boti masala and my husband ordered the chicken coconut kurma. Both dishes were a generous portion and served with a side of white rice. The lamb was so tender and delicious. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful. We added garlic naan and onion naan, both were delicious. We also ordered mango lassi & strawberry lassi. Both delicious drinks and not too sweet. To top it off, the service was great. We were checked on several times throughout our meal. Overall I'd highly recommend!

We ordered to-go for pick-up ! So hot and fresh ! Food had amazing flavors and the naan had a great texture. Some of the best butter chicken I've ever had !

The food was excellent. I kicked off the trend for mango lassis, so everyone at our table got one. My husband and I shared saag paneer and chicken tikka masala, and both were super. Our friends got something with lamb and both really enjoyed it. The only downside was that the service was very slow. It took at least 10 min before anyone greeted our table. It wasn't packed when we got there (6pm on a Thursday), so I'm not sure what the hold up was. A meal that should've taken about an hour took two. I'm all about enjoying the time, but that was before I had kids and needed to relieve the babysitter. Just something to plan ahead for!

We got seated right away and the service was quick. They have a big menu with a lot of things to choose from. The garlic naan is a must. It went great with our tikka masala. Me and my husband shared and it was filling and perfect to share. All the food was very flavorful.

I studied in England many, many, many years ago. Any British foodie will tell you the first food you should look for in Cambridge is Indian food. You can research the reasons why this is true (it is), but for now, I'll get to the point...after one more story... when I lived in Sugarhouse, I used to call Bombay House (RIP BH) and they would answer the phone greeting me by my first name, and ask if I was ordering my usual for the evening...of course I was. The end...My purpose in telling these stories is to set the scene for my review not as a novice of Indian cuisine, but a true, loyal, long time seeker of warm spices and chutneys, & Ayurvedic waltzes in every bite. This foodies favorite cuisine. Hands down. Could eat for every meal. This is only with the hope I'll be taken somewhat seriously when I say with my whole chest that I just experienced the best Indian food I've ever eaten. Starting with the peshwari naan, then the chicken biryani and vegetable masala. All incredible. My daughter agreed. But here's the best and worst part...I've been ruined by the Rogan Josh. I won't sleep tonight waiting for the next time I can eat it. Yes. It's that good. Trust me. Or don't. More for me. Like it. Or don't. More for me. If you're the guy who gave Bombay Palace 1 star, all I can say is you must hate your life. Make it make sense. Who paid you? The location is where the old Roma Italian restaurant used to be in the strip mall across from the Sports Mall. Random but so worth seeking it out. Please keep them in business because I'm going to need the Rogan Josh on speed dial. I stand by it. At least for now after my first time there...best Indian food I've ever eaten. Go there and taste it for yourself.

My usual takeout place was closed, so my husband and I decided to try Bombay Palace, and it was delicious!! The online ordering was easy, and the food was ready when I got there. It looked cute and quiet inside. We both got chicken tikka masala, white rice, and garlic naan. The flavoring on the rice was subtle but amazing. The tikka masala and naan were both great as well. Overall, we were really happy to have tried this place and def plan on going back!

Used my YELP app to find a highly rated restaurant nearby. This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I had some of the most flavorful dishes I've had in a while here. Everything was extremely traditional to the Indian culture, very respectful service, and a clean // welcoming ambiance! I will definitely be coming back here when I'm in Utah

This was my second lunch at Bombay Palace, and the food has been great both times. We had vegetable samosas, garlic naan, Chicken Makhani, and Lamb Coconut Kurma, both entrees ordered with medium spice, enough to make your nose run, but still enjoyable. The garlic naan and chicken dishes have been my favorites. I liked the flavor of the lamb sauce, but the meat texture wasn't my favorite. Service is quick and accurate, but the staff doesn't seem particularly enthusiastic or excited to have customers.

Absolutely loved this Indian spot!! Ordered the Butter Chicken and a Lamb Curry (forgot the actual name) and both were incredibly delicious!! Flavor was on point and had the perfect amount of spices. The entrees came with a big bowl of rice, and there's free refills! Service was good and quick. Staff is friendly and only had to wait 5 min for a table on the weekend. Ambiance is spacious and clean. Parking is ample in the lot!

The curries here are packed with flavor! The rice is also seasoned to perfection. The mango lasso is sweet and smooth. They allow refills for the rice and they have the classic freshly baked garlic naan. Each order of curry came with a bowl of rice. The service was fast as it was only about half full. It's very clean inside and plenty for seats available. The parking was not difficult.

I am pleasantly surprise by how amazingly delicious Indian food is in Utah. Bombay Palace is no exception. Their food is fantastic! I ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, and lamb biryani. All of the dishes were so PACKED with flavor. Indian food uses so many spices and that gives each dish such a distinct and powerful flavor. I really like how clean Bombay Palace is. I went during lunch and there were not many people there. My server was kind and checked in on me multiple times, which is nice! Oh, don't let the "small" bowls fool you - the amount of food in those bowls is intense - lots of food for a good price! I definitely took home the leftovers and enjoyed them later that night

First time trying this place and we were so excited-but unfortunately, we left disappointed. We ordered the butter chicken and lamb korma, and both tasted very different from any other Indian restaurant I've been to. We were especially looking forward to the naan after seeing so many great reviews. When we arrived, we were told there had been a power issue and they couldn't make the garlic naan we ordered. They offered us plain naan instead, which was fine, but when we asked if we could get an extra piece since they couldn't provide the garlic naan, we were told no and that we should ask for extra next time. To top it off, the naan was awful-thin, dry, and chewy. It also looked like they gave us half of a regular portion? Sadly, this place didn't live up to the hype, and I'll be sticking with my usual Indian spots.

The Cajun fries were good quality fries (on the more potato rather than crispy side) but could've used more Cajun. Next time I'd ask for a side of Cajun seasoning or see if they can just put more on. The refresher was light in flavor but actually really good and legitimately refreshing! There might have even been tiny pieces of peach on the bottom, which I liked! For the boil I got a half pound of shrimp (head on) and subbed the potato for a corn and added a second corn. I got the special sauce (basically a combo of all the sauces) mild, but didn't think it tasted spicy at all. To be honest I think the sauce was just okay, a little less flavorful than expected. Maybe next time I would try medium spice level to see if it makes a difference. My bf got a half pound of shrimp (head off), half pound of crawdads, and wanted the blue crab but because it was sold out, he switched to a half pound of snow crab legs, garlic butter (seasoned), mild. He thought the sauce was good but wished it would've soaked into the meat more. Def recommend frequent dipping! Crawdads weren't bad, it was our first time eating them but offered very little meat for the work required. He was pretty disappointed with the crab legs--despite being double the price of the blue crab, almost every leg he cracked open was half hollow and had barely any meat in it. He said it was the first time in his life he's had crab legs like that! Service however was 10/10. She was super attentive, kind, and welcoming. Some of the best service I've ever had! Ambiance is casual, had cute theming similar to most seafood boil spots. Appreciated the bibs, gloves, and wipes! Overall I liked it but would tweak my order. Unfortunately, my bf said he would never go back again, but this was only his second time ever going to a seafood boil restaurant, and he's thinking it just might not be for him lol.

This isn't white-tablecloth, hushed-voice "fine dining," but the kitchen is absolutely cooking at that level. Every dish that hit the table delivered: the som tum, drunken noodles, and Thai fried rice were all standouts, with zero misses across the board. The mixed greens and golden tofu plates were legit highlights too, not just obligatory veggie options. One thing to know before you go: everything defaults to no spice unless you speak up. If you're used to true Asian spice levels, level 3 is probably your sweet spot. Level 2 was still a bit too tame for us, especially for something like the som tum that really sings with heat. Bottom line: excellent quality, generous value, and food that keeps you thinking about your next visit before you've even paid the check. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to.

Here is where the identity crisis starts. You walk into a nice space with red velvet decor and Italian landscapes. I had to do a double-take to make sure we were in the proper establishment. The menu has photos of their dishes, great for a visual eater like myself. We started with the soft shell crabs in a chili sauce. The crabs were lightly battered, crisp and a delicious taste. We saved the sauce to pour over our rice, an added bonus. The pad Thai was to sweet, and over-run with red onions. This is not a combo I'm familiar with, not my favorite. The pork spiced ribs with honey, tomatoes, Thai spices and sesame oil was unique and good. They fell off the bone tender. What is stuck in my craw is the message sent by the physical space. Beautiful red velvet chairs, Italian landscapes and wine bottles lining the walls does not lend to fine Thai dining in my mind. A least paint over the walls and add SOME Thai touches. Let your wait staff know living on cell phone and ignoring patrons is never a winning message. The male bathroom has a toilet covered with painted tape and several missing pieces of porcelain. Are you a serious business or a pop-up finishing off someone else's lease? Attention to details are important and help set the table way before the food arrives. I wish Ve La Thai Fine Dining the best, but question their commitment after being here for over a year, perhaps it is all intentional.
