Cute BBQ place. Order at the counter, they call your name for food. Help yourself to sauces & fountain drinks. Great self serve beer selection. We got bang bang shrimp. 6/10 It was heavily breaded & sauce was very sweet, no heat. Sweet potato fries 9/10 Seasoned great & loved the garlic aioli Jalapeno cornbread 7/10 I wish it had more jalapeno flavor & pieces. Also, they didn't have butter. It needed a honey butter with it. My hubby loved his smoked turkey breast. He also loves their pork. Next time I'd get the fried shrimp so I can try the sauces with them. We've been to the Munster location many times. The half pound of turkey was really good. I also recommend the sweet potato fries. Seems a little pricey but, I enjoy the quality of the food here. They are set up where you order at the counter upon entering and then they call your name when it is ready. The restaurant has an industrial feel to it with concrete floors and airplane (bombers) art work. They have a great selection of self pour beer. read more

I preordered a pick up order for a client lunch that I had today - I am from Chicago and they requested that I order from Bombers BBQ so this was a first time visit for me so of course I had to order a little something for myself - I tried the chili cheese fries - sinfully delicious and I felt immediate guilt for eating them:0 It was very convenient that I could order this the day before to be ready at a certain time the next day for pick up. Today they had it ready for me at the time I requested and the staff couldn't have been nicer! When I got to my client's office I was setting out the food and realized that one of the lunches was missing - of course it was the lunch for the pregnant lady....I felt SO bad as I did not have time to go back and get the lunch before my presentation even though it was close by. I called Bombers to let them know and they were very apologetic and to make it up to me one of the staff members delivered it to the client's office within 10 minutes. That's customer service for you and it is SO lacking these days. When a company goes above and beyond to make it right it goes a long way. Since I do not live in town I thought the least I could do was give a little shout out and make sure this good deed and fine customer service did not go unnoticed. They have great food and a fun BBQ atmosphere I could definitely get addicted to the food and spend a good amount of time there. Thanks again Bombers for making it right! read more

We never experience bad service here! The food is always amazing and comes out in a short amount of time. I always look forward to coming here and we have a tradition to get it pretty much every Sunday. Our favorite go get is the brisket poutine and the turkey! The sides are always a must too, especially the jalepeno corn bread. Always recommend! read more

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The service was quick and the staff was fine. We ordered the brisket nachos and a 2 meat plate with a side of Mac and cheese. Unfortunately the Mac and cheese was the best part of our meal. The fried shrimp had a decent flavor, but the breading fell right off. The burnt ends were a bit chewy, and the nachos were just average. The beer wall was cool, although we were not drinking. Fun pinball machines to try out after dinner. read more

Bombers is the bomb for real. Please excuse the pun but, honestly, just so good. They never disappoint. We first went when they were located in the tiniest spot in Munster. And then the bigger location in Munster. Not surprised at all they they've opened additional location in Crown Point. The food just as good as ever and the service is amazing as per the usual. This location has quarter fed arcade games... my college aged son spent too much money but had so much fun. They do have a lot for parking. read more

The pulled rib sandwich special on Fridays is absolutely delicious. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. It's a great place to go for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is amazingly clean and has interesting decor, a beer wall, arcade, games and pinball games. This is one of my favorite restaurants! read more

Best BBQ in Crown Point. Hard to find but hard to forget. They have specials so check it out! The pork belly burnt ends on Sunday's only are AMAZINGLY good. Staff is friendly and fairly quick. They also have a beer wall (self tap) and pinball games. Everything on the menu is awesome! read more

I think this is the best barbecue place in Northwest Indiana. I usually go here once a week just for the brisket chili. They always have a unique egg roll side dish. If you are a barbecue fan you must try that brisket sandwich. read more

Bombers took Taco Tuesday to a new level!! The tacos have shredded pork that is seasoned perfectly, cilantro and onion! The sauce had a slight kick to it but it was not spicy. The restaurant was very clean. The staff and service were also great! read more

Huge bombers fan here but this one is Not nearly as good as the Munster location. Solid for the need for bbq but I'd take backyard bbq in cedar lake over this location. For the amount you pay you expect impeccable bbq and this location the meats don't taste nearly as smoky and delicious as the Munster location... relatively bland was very disappointed by the meh here. read more

So CP went from having NO BBQ restaurants, to having two of them. Big "thank you" to Bombers for coming here! I had the brisket and shrimp, both were very good. Also tried the mac n cheese, and jalapeño corn bread. The corn bread was a bit dry, but still very tasty. Mac n cheese was great, it was cheesy and creamy. Ill be back for the wings soon! The are a few choices of sauce, which was great to have options. The place is small, and tucked behind two other eateries. The portions were good size but the food wontons and egg rolls tasted terrible. They were full of old oil so everything tasted like that. The brisket poutine was very good. As others have said, very expensive. We were looking forward to trying the new place but were terribly disappointed. The carryout was handed to me with the containers placed sideways in the bag instead of sitting squarely on the bottom. Grease everywhere. The burnt ends were nothing but chunks of fat with a little bit of meat, cornbread was doughy. It was all a mess! Two stars were for chili - was good, 1/2 slab of ribs good. Brisket sandwich a mess. Placed an order for $85, which included 25 wings for $42.00. The wings were not what we are use to, greasy and not blackened as usual. Sent photos and I was offered replacement after 40 minutes and my family had eaten. I needed to bring back at least 20 wings to the corrected order. This was my third visit. I ordered smoked wings and brisket. They were both incredible, but the wings stole the show. They were moist and flavorful. I wish I had ordered more. Brisket was fork tender, perfectly smoked. I had mustard sauce which I really enjoyed. Someone remarked that the food is too expensive. I don't think it is too expensive. Compared to similar bbq places, it's in the right range for smoked meat. Man, this is craft work here...it takes a lot of skill to smoke meat properly.
