    Matcha latte

Just discovered this cute ( and quiet) new BH coffee spot on Burton Way near Doheny. The matcha was super green (a rare sight for a latte!). It came with a little room at the top so I asked for more almond milk. The barista said, "It's the perfect ratio now but if you want more I can add it." True to the craft. I left it as is and enjoyed the greenery.

Super excited to see that a new cafe opened in my neighborhood! Bome (means spring in Korean) Coffee has a modern and peaceful ambiance with beautiful decor! The staff were friendly and welcoming too. I got the double matcha, which was so delicious! They couldn't adjust the sweetness but it ended up being not too sweet which was perfect. I also tried the Bome latte - which is a lightly sweetened latte with their signature raspberry cream on top. The cream is so yummy and light and goes so well with the latte. Seating is a bit limited but I love their central communal table. Free wifi as well as some outlets are available. Such a lovely addition to our neighborhood!

Kinda mesmerizing how fast new cafes have been flourishing recently! Another one to visit this week was Bome Coffee, taking place in one of my favorite neighborhood in town, Beverly Hills! The cafe was elegantly designed to give that cozy relaxing ambiance and the warm gesture from all the baristas just further elevated my first-visit experience. They were actually short of ice cubes when I was about to place my order but they quickly took action and despite they needed to ask me to wait a bit, honestly the waiting time felt like a blink. I got their signature Bome Coffee, which was slightly sweetened latte with agave topped with their signature raspberry cream. The cream top was bit think for my preference, but I loved how the flavor was relatively subtle and still let the coffee took the main spotlight role. Besides, I thought their coffee itself was actually great, which kinda surprised me as their concept was more into the fun cream tops. Unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on their Hotteok which I had really been waiting for, but I still ended up getting their Earl Grey Canele. Despite not being preheated before served, it still had that crispy outside chewy inside texture, which was delectable. The Earl Grey taste itself was quite ethereal, but wouldn't complain much as I still enjoyed the overall buttery taste.

I feel bad writing this review, as I really wanted to like Bôme Coffee. However, the double matcha I ordered did NOT taste good. While beautifully-presented, it had this strange aftertaste that I could only describe as metallic, almost sewage-like. It was undrinkable. Sadly, I could not drink the rest of it and had to toss it out; it was $9 wasted. Perhaps I went on an off-day, or maybe one of the ingredients were spoiled. Any case, it was a huge disappointment.

Bôme sets the standard to which all coffee establishments should strive to. Elegant welcoming clean ambiance greets you. A friendly smile awaits you. Superb attention to detail covers every square inch.. there doesn't seem to be anything that wasn't thought of. Then we get to the coffee. I had the Bôme latte. Simply exquisite.

Cute new coffee shop in Beverly Hills. Staff were friendly, decor simple and tasteful. The banana cream matcha and regular matcha latte were delicious!

A great addition to Beverly Hills! I came on Saturday, the 2nd day open, around 1:30pm. It was busy. They do have some seating inside, but it is not much. I got the bome latte, which was great, not too sweet, and very unique. It came with a raspberry-flavored cream top. The bome latte was $6.50, which is pretty standard, I feel these days, for a fancy latte. The service was great and quick. They also have a list of matcha and teas. I definitely would come back and try other drinks.

We go to the nail salon next door and have been waiting eagerly for bôme coffee to open! For reference, I love Profeta in Westwood, Alfred's, and Sons in Beverly Hills, so I have fancy taste. I tried bôme on Saturday and have been back three times already (it's only Wednesday). Their strawberry matcha with rose is genuinely 50 times better than Alfred's ever was. Ask them to add rose to any matcha; trust me. They source their matcha directly from Kagoshima, Japan, which explains why it tastes so clean and bright. We tried the iced vanilla latte, regular latte, matcha, strawberry matcha with rose, and the croissants and caneles from their pastry case. EVERYTHING is delicious. The space is minimalist and beautifully done without feeling cold. The owners and whole team are so nice and adorable. The pricing is fair for quality this good. This is real small business energy in Beverly Hills. Go support them. It's not easy opening a business in CA right now, and I, for one, hope they are around for a VERY long time because they're my new fav. coffee spot.

Great new coffee shop. Tried the banana cream matcha, double strawberry matcha and bome latte so far. Banana cream is my favorite, the banana cream top is so tasty and the matcha is good quality. Crème brûlée pound cake was ok, nice and moist. Will return for banana cream matcha for sure. Service is quick, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Cute spot too.

Last Sunday the line was a little bit shorter, and I was craving coffee so I decided to try it for the first time. I was thinking to myself, I hope this coffee is not super good so I don't have to ever come back again lol, hahahaha. However, the coffee turns out to be great. The matcha also fantastic , so I guess I'll be back. On the sidenote, the lime look long that's because the store is very small, so if you see like 10 people lining up your way, my only be 10-15 minutes, no worse than Starbucks during rush hour!

But after taking my first sip... I completely understood the hype. The Matcha einspanner is absolutely heavenly. It's rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and one of the best matcha drinks I've ever had. We also ordered the pistachio bread and the sliders for breakfast, and both were delicious. The pistachio bread was soft and flavorful, and the sliders made for a satisfying breakfast. Yes, you'll probably have to wait, but in my opinion, it's worth experiencing at least once. If you're a matcha lover, this place definitely deserves a spot on your list.

I went Sunday, and saw a bottleneck at Valet so I found plenty of parking a block south and on the side street. Valet was only $18 for the 2 hours we were there so not awful at all. This hotel is super elegant and walking into The Living Room was like that, walking into a living room. It was right there past the receptionist and with a glass back drop of the garden. We opted for the 2nd tier, Premium. It doesn't change the tea choice ( you only get 1) or the food, it's just whatever champagne or bubbles you prefer. And oh my god! That rose was fantastic! I am not a rose fan, but I see why this one was considered Premium. I choose the coconut creme tea, thinking it might he herbal, but I didn't ask. I was planning on my jacked on caffeine and sugar before the day was over. All the finger sandwiches were fabulous, I ate them all. My favorite was the salmon, chicken and egg salad. Although I also enjoyed the egg plant. I can't tell you all the desserts that I ate. I ate all of that too. I literally only left half of a scone and the scones were fabulous as well. They were soft and they were fresh and I don't think i've ever had a fresh scone before so game changer! The service was perfect! Someone is coming by to pour you more tea. Everyone was very nice and attentive. We had a lovely time! I highly recommend this place for afternoon tea with the gals!

They seated us right away for our reservation. My mom and I love high tea. We try a new place about twice a year. This place is stunning. The food is okay. I appreciated that my mom and I each had our own stand since most places do two of everything and place on one stand. The tea was good. It is a bit pricey - $135 per person for afternoon tea, an additional $65 per person for unlimited champagne. My mom & I both had the afternoon tea, she treated herself with the unlimited champagne and a $24 caviar bite which was so small, I would consider it half a bite. It was still worth a cute picture and my mom said it was delicious. The tip was included in our bill and was a little over $400. The servers are attentive and checked up on us often. I will say there is limited seating and although it is comfortable, it is a bit awkward. I would come back here for the aesthetics and look however as for food and traditional high tea, most likely not.
