This is a review specifically for the service department, specifically Josh Delanoix. I have been in for service in the past and have had an excellent experience but my most recent experience was over the top. On the way to the dealer, my vehicle had a flat tire. I called GMC roadside service and was told someone would be there within 30 min. Which turned into 45. Which turned into 2 hours. I was now late not only for my service appointment but the rest of my day was a mess. By the time I arrived I was a bit frazzled but Josh got my car checked in and got me a loaner in no time - and I was on my way to try to salvage the day. But wait, there's more. When I returned to pick up my vehicle Josh and another service rep asked me if my day had gotten better and once again Josh got my car up front and talked me through the repair and I was on my way. I highly recommend the service department, even if you didn't buy your car from this dealer. Thanks Josh!! read more

I purchased a 2019 Audi A6 with a 6 month warranty on mechanical, eletrical and other repairs under Motor Trend's warranty. 3 days into owning the car, I noticed the coolant leak on it and sent it to a mechanic. He said that there were more leaks from the engine area and would investigate. In the end, the water pump, thermostat, and the heater hose had to be replaced. It ended up being a 2.3k job, and when I tried to get the warranty involved, they said that its a pre existing condition. I tried calling the guys I bought the car from Scotty Reichert, and his manager, or whoever he is, Jim Shanks from the dealer, to see if they could reimburse this big repair. They said that they wouldn't do anything about it, and that this vehicle passed their "vehicle inspection". When I asked for the vehicle inspection to be sent, Scotty kept avoiding me and never ended up sending it even though I asked for it multiple times in multiple phone calls. Do not take the risk of not getting a Pre Purchase Inspection for any car you buy from these guys like I did, and expect the worst dealer tactics possible. Scotty and Jim who I got to talk to about this vehicle are disingenuous and only trying to score a sale on you, they don't care about customer satisfaction. read more

Went into trade in my car, just to basically be almost forced into a new car. Stepped away to make a phone call to my significant other. Came back to be told that my significant other "better do some more yards for his baby girl". Which is way out of line for a sales person. On top of that he considered my 2018 vehicle a " Hooptie" of a car. Which should have been my first clue to walk out. No new car is worth the disrespect i received from salesman "Tim McCoy" Ive been to quite a few dealerships and never once have received treatment like i did tonight. Very disappointed. I will never return thats for sure! To add to my review. Tim also would not even discuss the trade in value on my car! He went ahead did the credit check & brought out the "purchase agreement" and basically said "here sign this". Like what? Who does that. I almost signed it too! After purchasing now 4 vehicles from the Bommarito Dealership family I am done! My experience with Tim McCoy was absolutely horrid. As a former retail sales manager there are things you just don't do to a customer. I received a letter from the dealership wanting to do an end of lease damage assessment so I took my car in as I am at the end of my lease. Before I knew it I was handing over my keys and given another set to another. Confused and sick to my stomach I arrived home and with help was able to figure out what just happened. Tim McCoy basically forced me to end my lease early and sign up for a new lease at a way out of range payment. I called Tim McCoy a few moments later and was told that I couldn't bring it back the deal was done. I informed him that I'm on way to drop it off then. Tim McCoy then informed me that the vehicle wouldn't be covered on their insurance. (BEWARE IF YOU DROP OFF YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE) The following day I took the car back and spoke to Frank Rogan and explained that I came in for an assessment not to end my lease 4 months early. Frank was very understanding and reversed the whole thing. He also told me that when I was ready I didn't have to go through Tim McCoy and to contact him. Fast forward to today May 5 with 10 days left on my lease I'm wanting to purchase and I call Frank Rogan and ask him for an updated end of lease purchase quote, he says no problem! and we disconnect. Then Tim McCoy calls me and I ask him for the same information. Tim McCoy started requesting info on who I bank with and where I got financed ect. I told him it's a done deal and all I needed was the requested info to submit to my bank. Tim McCoy very rudely told me that they aren't making any money that way and continued to get more arrogant and rude and refused to do anything further. He then called me 4 more times after we initially disconnected, once from his personal phone again letting me know that he's not going to make any money unless I go through their financial dept. I never heard back for Frank Rogan who is the Assistant Manager. Overall: If you want to feel good when you buy a new car don't go here. Absolutely horrible buying experience so much so I'm ending over 15yrs of doing business with the Bommarito Brand of car dealerships. read more

Diagnostic service was fine. I rented a car for two days to get to work. ($100). Service team did not even look at my car until the second day, after I called inquiring about the vehicle. I only rented a second day in the event the service job took longer. Then, on my receipt, I see the words printed "car loaner". I was never offered a loaner, nor did I know that that was an option. I was not even offered a ride to the enterprise rental car, and therefore took a Lyft ride to get there. On a minor note, the service guys must be miserable as they never smile. Last, it would be nice if there was a chair for a customer waiting for a ride. Overall, I am not impressed. I'm getting ready to trade my car in. And I think I'll take a break from GMC products on my new vehicle. read more

Don.t buy here ! They are not a transparency dealer. They told me the new vehicle had hail damage after we negotiated the purchase price. The finance person used a computer desktop screen which you can't see the prices. He didn't go over the contract & added GAP insurance & extended warranty to my contract which added about 6000 dollars to my loan ! Contacted internet sales manager several times, requesting out-the-door price. The manager simply sent a link to online vehicle listing, which of course was already known. When again asked to provide a less than advertised price, the salesman didn't bother to respond. If you can't negotiate over email by providing a price less than advertised, then you're hiding something and likely not a reputable salesman. Fortunately, other area GMC dealers had no issue providing their unadvertised pricing and wanted to do business. read more

I was very happy until the first service appointment. We took delivery of our new truck at the end of the day after dark. We didn't notice the damage to the passenger mirror until the next week. Fiance and me bought a jeep 8 months ago. Got a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. Last 6 months, 15 phone calls for multiple problems with promises to call back when space and rental available. No calls. Last 2 weeks, another 6 calls, no answer no call backs, 4 different people different voice-mail, not a single returned call. Car is disabled, and a pretty lawn ornament right now due to the incompetence and complete blow off we have received from this company. Will be getting calls from BBB and my lawyer now to hopefully sort put. read more

Buyer beware. I attempted to place a special order for a GMC Yukon to get the features and options that I wanted. After waiting 5+ months, the vehicle finally arrives and I'm told i can't buy the vehicle until they send it out for $2,500 worth of window tinting and ceramic coating that i didn't want. The sales manager refused to sell me the truck because it was against the Bonnarito Auto Group's policy to buy the vehicle without the dealer add-ons. Instead they used the opportunity deny me the vehicle that I special ordered and instead sold it at a premium to another customer. I recommend working with a reputable dealer that doesn't force you to buy dealer addons just so the they can make a few extra bucks on the sale. This is their way to increase their bottom line while masking the fact that they won't honor the MSRP. read more

I called 12 GMC dealerships in the area and even outside of the state looking for a 2021 Yukon. No one had had what I wanted and only offered to order one which would take 12-15 weeks! Spiro was the only sales person who offered to make calls and find me what I wanted! He had the car for me in a matter of 2 days. They also made the buying process so easy and was able to get everything worked out via text/email/phone calls! Highly recommend! read more

Not the typical small town, make a friend buy a car shop like I was looking for. Gmcs are my fave rides so I'm looking to establish myself with a long time friend in the GMC business. This place doesn't help put you in what you want to drive and doesn't care anymore once you make your purchase. By far the worst experience ever trying to buy a car I have ever had and I'm 59 years old. My wife had I stopped in Bommarito GMC West County in Ellisville Mo. one day to look at a car. The salesman Frank L. Was super chill and very nice and helpful. We were just looking and left to look at another vehicle at another vehicle. The next day we came back to get my trade in appraised and start talking about a purchase. WOW DID THINGS CHANGE! They came up with a price that we weren't very fond of. So Frank asked well what would be acceptable. So we offered a price of 3K less. Of course he left and had to talk to someone else and came back and said DEAL. Just like that he dropped 3K dollars. I mentioned my wife and I had not eaten all day and it was now 4:30p. I said we are going to grab a quick bite to eat at a place less than a mile away since we would still be there a while filling out paperwork and will be right back. He said well, take the new car. I said no I'll take mine, as soon as you give me my keys back from the appraisal then we will be right back. He said hang on a minute. That minute was 5 min. He came back and said if you don't take the new car then I can't honor the deal we just agreed upon. I said WHAT? You mean to tell me that we agreed on a price (no paperwork was signed) just a handshake, and since we want to go grab a bite to then come back and fill out all the paperwork in my own car that you wont honor the deal you just agreed to? He said hang on a minute........... another 5 min goes by (mind you we are starving and still don't have the keys to my car that we were trading in) then he comes back and says "If you all leave and not take the car you are buying it will cost you an extra $500 from what we agreed on initially. I said "you are going to charge me $500 to go eat dinner and drive my own car?" Without any hesitation he said "YES" at this point I am beside my self. I said GET MY F#*@ing KEYS TO MY CAR". Of course he said wait here a minute. I waited about 1 minute then walked back into the office where they were all having a powwow. Walked in and said where are my F#*@ing keys. He finally handed them to me and we left. I have never seen anything so unprofessional and disrespectful in my life buying a car. They had the deal. It was done. All we wanted was to go get a fast dinner and it was going to cost us. the most awful place. We wont ever be back. Not to mention we went to another dealership and got the same vehicle with the same options for $2700 dollars less without any hassle at all. Good riddens Bommarito. read more

It would be a waste of time to mention every single sales tactic to you that this dealership TRIED to use on me in an attempt to sell me a car. Shady, shady, shady! Shame too because they definitely lost my $40k! The sales manager was turning beat red & emotional because I'm no pushover! Even some of the sales team laughed at the sales manger by the time that I was done, because he was so confused, lol! Makes me LOL! Admittedly, I did some of it on purpose because I can smell BS a mile away. Instead of trying to confuse me with the 4-square tactic, I reversed it & it worked! Go to Lou Fusz Buick/GMC & ask for Brittany unless you want to deal with underhanded "number" practices, shady dealings, & unfriendliness. Tips: 1) When customers say what they want including type of vehicle, do it especially the vehicle. 2) If you treat customers well including respect for their time (another sales tactic), you will earn a commission check. 3) Women are not idiots! Learn this quickly! Our money can provide you with a commission check too. 4) No false promises...well, at least remember your promises in the 1st place! Can you believe that? The fact that they don't recognize the treatment I got as being a total customer failure is sad, and begging me to change my review without any even an apology is totally laughable. I would like to take time out of my day to express the poor customer service I received Friday, September 21st around 4:40 p.m. I walked in to GMC to drop off my vehicle. I see 2 associates behind the counter. One employee was to my left and the other to my right. Both employees were talking to other employees, as I continued to wait. The associate to my left made a call to a customer and after his call, he continued to hold a conversation with the employee. While still waiting for someone to acknowledge me, a customer walks in front of me (I assume he was told his car is ready) then the employees holding a conversation to my right,wrap up their conversation to help the customer. At this time I became very frustrated and disappointed at the lack of customer service skills these employees have. I said, "Could someone acknowledge that I'm standing here waiting?!" The employees over to the left side standing in front of the associate behind the counter said "oh yes we'll be right with you." then the associate behind the counter said Hi, I can take you, then proceeded to comment that he was on the phone with a customer and can only do so manythings at once. I corrected him to make him aware of everything I witnessed while I was standing and waiting. I am appalled at the lack of social skills your employees have. In my line of business it is my job to ensure that all of my employees build relationships, have integrity and show compassion. Things were fine w the sale of my new Yukon xl Denali. Sales person was very nice to work with. GM came in at the end and acted like a jerk. I was embarrassed for sales guy. The service advisors I've worked with have been very condescending. I called once w questions about a pinging when I accelerated. The advisor must have asked me 5x 'what do you mean, a pinging'? Pinging is not an unusual term. Asked me to bring it in, drove it w me and said, 'it's pinging'. Wow, really? I called to set up an oil change. The advisor explained he could not get me in for 3 days and even though I was close to my 24k miles/2 yrs of free oil changes, I was out of luck. He told me, 'you should have made an appt for yesterday'. Had I not been out of state taking care of an ailing parent, I most certainly would have. He was again rude and condescending. This trend of behavior is so interesting as no one was condescending when I came in alone and paid cash for my purchase. The service advisors need a basic lesson in customer service. Work WITH the customer to resolve the problem. Don't create additional problems and ill will. *********** In response to the Bommarito person, I did leave a message for the GM. Scheduled a full truck detail, car rental and oil change/service. Nothing was in the computer, the detail wasn't complete to standard, the DEF was spilled all over the crossbar and not cleaned up, the tires were not checked or rotated as the tires were still low when I left the dealership. The service manager is working with me to have the truck detailed properly locally but the hassle wasn't worth the trip. read more

So, I just moved to St. Louis from Chicago, where I didn't need a car in the 5 years I was there. Naturally, I knew buying a car was a must once I moved out to the STL burbs. I shopped around for a few weeks, narrowed it down to which car I wanted and could afford, and after almost buying from a different dealer down the street, I came here, last minute, and bought car that was an even better deal. The process was fast and painless - the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Free Starbucks coffee and Tazo tea while you're waiting was a nice touch. If you need to buy a car, don't be thrown off by them being the Audi/Infiniti dealership in the area - they have tons of nicely priced used cars from all different companies here as well. read more

We brought our 2019 GMC Acadia in for service for a transmission that was shifting badly. They advised that there was nothing wrong with it but the service write up advises they replaced the top end of the transmission. We then brought it elsewhere to have the issue resolved on the first visit. They also later advised that they don't believe any work had been done by Bommarito. Fast forward 3 months I decided to give Bommarito another chance after my other car (2019 GMC Terrain) was having some issues with the turbo charger. I called and set up an appointment then showed up to that appointment. The service advisor told me they couldn't find me so they handed me over to the guy that knew about my appointment (Grant Cecil). Right off the bat this guy wanted to argue by telling me I showed up for the wrong appointment which I had an appointment for. Then he turned around and told me that if it's the turbocharger that I will be paying for the service out of pocket (even though we have remaining power train warranty and extended bumper to bumper). I told the guy that I shouldn't owe anything out of pocket and he just kept digging and arguing. Then I just said it is what it is and asked for the loaner car they promised. Another service advisor said no rental was available but they could get me a ride to the airport. Grant came back and said no way they are taking me to the airport because it exceeds the 10 mile service area. At this point in time I knew that we weren't going anywhere fast so I decided to leave and call another GMC dealer who made sure that I would get my SUV in for service and guaranteed that I would pay no out of pocket. They even took a car out of inventory to make sure I had transportation while they repair my car. A short while later I called the service manager Pat Robertson and made him aware of what's going on. Pat then did a little research and first told me that Grant was wrong and the Turbocharger is covered as a part of the factory warranty but did not apologize for his guy going rogue and arguing with me and did not even address them wasting my time at 8am on a Monday showing up for a a scheduled appointment that they accidentally entered on the wrong date. I told him that this is the second time I've had an issue with Grant and I need something to make sure it doesn't happen again or it will be the last time I do business with any of the Bommarito companies and he responded by saying "I'm sorry to hear that." And we ended our conversation. read more

To say I am disappointed with GMC Bommarito is an understatement. My daughter bought a 2010 GMC Terrain from Bommarito a few months ago with 138,000 miles on it. Right after she purchased it on the same day the Terrain broke down in a fast food parking lot. They did take care of it, the problem was a gear shift pin, but it was less than 24 hours after the purchase. This should have been a sign. Just recently as soon as she pulled into her school's parking lot, it died. It is a used car so there is no warranty. I had it towed to a mechanic. He looked at it and diagnosed that the timing chain broke. Well that was a surprise to me but it should not have been. The Terrain is notorious for having problems with the timing chain. There was an extended warranty on the timing chain but it does not cover over 120,000 miles. Bommarito said they can fix it for a discounted price of $2200.00. They usually charge $2700.00 but they are giving me a $500.00 discount. Wow I was really hoping for more since GMC knows there is a problem, just check out TERRAINFORUM.NET, NHTSA, and any GM site with GMC Terrain timing chain as the key words. You will see all kinds of problems. If they knew this was a problem they should make good. read more

They don't tell you what really wrong with the car , they only trying to make there commission!! They rig the car to sale it. If it was an option to give 0 stars I would. I would never buy a car from here ever again or recommend anyone to buy a car from here or do any type of business with this dealership. We came all the way from Georgia to get a stellar priced GMC Sierra. The price was well worth the drive. The trade value over the phone was "sight unseen", but the paperwork the salesman gave us when we came in already had a price that was 2k less than previously stated before they had even looked at the trade. Not to mention, they used KBB. The banks and insurance companies are using NADA. When bringing this to the salesman's attention he attempted to just continually argue and say we could just leave the truck it would sell. At one point he even stated what he made on the deal and that he couldn't wait until they were all sold, because they made him no money. On to the F&I process... When asking if it would be more productive with interest rate to switch my significant other and myself he stated "well, I have another customer waiting." I stated we would go to lunch while he did that and switched the application. We got back from lunch wait around a little more and he comes to get us and low and behold nothing could be done. I'm not going to plaster my credit score on the Internet but we will be refinancing at a rate at least 5% less promptly. Queue us leaving the dealership. The F&I manager forgot to take our down payment. Disregards the 1k deposit that was left and runs the card for 1k too much. Refunds and when we get the receipt back realize it has been signed for us! How convenient. I would never believe he was AFIP certified. This dealerships sales and F&I process is absolutely horrendous and toxic. I would NEVER recommend anyone buy a car or do any type of business with this dealership. read more

Update* After waiting 12 days for a call back from the dealership, I called into Bommarito to see what was goin on. I dealt with Jim Foley (finance manager) in the finance department when buying my car earlier this past month. I called him 12 days prior leaving a voicemail, stating I wanted to discuss some mechanical issues with my new purchased car and also talk about some financial discrepancies(the finance manager and car salesman lied to me about financing and a few other things). NO CALL BACK. I call into Bommarito on day 12 of waiting for a call back. I call, ask for Jim Foley, get transferred to his line, the phone rings a few times, then Jim picks the phone up, like he was going to answer, and immediately put the phone back down to hang up the phone call! Obviously, after not being contacted for 12 days, and then this escalation (HANGING UP ON ME) happening, I was livid. I called Bommarito back, obviously irate at this point, this time I asked to speak to Jim foley's superior. The operator, who did a great job by the way (Sherri or shelly), proceeded to ask what was wrong since she could hear the frustration in my voice. I proceeded to tell her a little bit about what had happened and she, herself, was appalled by how I was being treated. She assured me I would get a phone call from someone that could help me further within the next 15 min. I received a phone call within the 15 min but the person was no help. I then proceeded to talk to the finance manager of the entire Bommarito operation. This person had no intent to help out this situation at all. Our conversation on the phone, which was about manipulation of credit scores for the dealer's and salesperson's gain, ended badly with me stating I will never buy from Bommarito again. This audacious and snide person proceeded to send me an email with an article about CREDIT SCORES THE NEXT DAY. No apology for how I was treated through this process. He wanted to snidely beat a dead horse and make himself look as unprofessional as possible apparently. Funny thing is, the man's name is Brian SNYDER. I guess snide audacity is engrained in his blood. I replied to this snide email stating how it came off unprofessional and this man didn't bat an eye. With his next email, STILL no apology for the his staff being deceitful, lying and cheating their way through this car deal. He ended up saying, "sorry for the confusion through the car deal," Confusion?! The only confusion here is why this big profile manager is NOT taking care of these unprofessional and fraudulent tendencies of his employees that he manages. I am still blown away at how this dealership treated me over the course of this past month. They offered nothing to fix this nor admit to doing anything wrong. WHAT A JOKE. Apparently Bommarito is NEVER at fault. The CUSTOMER is ALWAYS the problem. I bought a car there recently. They lied to me about my financial details, financing requirements, procedures to pay off the car and a few other very important details. I called the dealership to handle these issues, no answer, so I left a message with a callback number. I NEVER received a phone call back. Almost two weeks later I called them back to get in contact with someone. Still no answer. It took a lot of effort just to speak with someone. This was the financial department. Terrible customer service values. It takes two minutes to call someone back. NOT 12 days. The rest of the dealership did great work, but the financial department lying for the dealership's gain put them down to 1 star. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone unless they want to have a headache. read more

After I posted this review they contacted me with a contrite message and asked for my full name so they could address the concern. I gave them the name but have not heard back. Meanwhile it turns out that GM has an issue with their compressor manufacturer that they are not owning up to...yet. $1200 worth... If we had listened to Bommarito we would've paid $1200 for a new compressor, then come back to spend $1200 for a new condenser, and probably not been told that there's an issue with the manufactures part in the first place. So in another two years same issue over again. Argh! read more

I purchased a 2015 Buick Enclave on November 12, 2014. I called a couple of days later and spoke to my salesman and asked him about getting mud flaps for my vehicle. This dealership is the worst for service. They do not do complimentary car wash which in my opinion is one of the reasons to take your car to a dealer for service. You can request one but they do not always do it even then. I have had multiple negative experiences with standard service but keep going back because I think dealers are good while the car is under warranty. This will be my last time though. I waited 2 weeks in terrible heat for them to look at my AC. I dropped my car off early and then checked in after 5 hours to see the status. They said it was still not looked at and asked if they could keep it for the long holiday weekend. I have 4 kids and this is our big vehicle. They have no loaners available and the service techs do not seem to care at all. They requested that I bring it back next week as they have 7 cars ahead of me for AC issues. How is that possible when I made the appointment so long ago and dropped it first thing in the AM. I will not be back for any future service or to purchase a new buick when I am ready in the next 6-12 months. I purchased from Sinclair and they were fantastic but a bit too far for my service convenience. I'm thinking they may be worth the drive though. read more

I wouldn't even give Bommarito GMC 1 star if it was possible! These guys are the most unorganized, lying, disrespectful dealership I have ever experienced, and I am a 40 year old man that has purchased many vehicles in my life. There were numerous things that went wrong with my deal on a 2016 GMC Sierra with these so called sales professionals??? We'll start with this dealership not giving 2 craps about your time and or your family's time. Now we'll go into the deal that was made with Bommarito Buick GMC....I stayed in excellent communication with these guys letting them know that once we came to the right numbers on the deal that we would be traveling from over an hour to an hour and half away, so PLEASE be ready for us and have the vehicle ready to go. We showed up at approx 5:40pm on 9/30/2016. The truck had scuffs and smudges in multiple places was one of the first things I noticed. We get into the building and our salesman's name was Jerry. The 1st thing he does is hand me off to some guy that knows nothing about our deal and obviously not much about the vehicles he sells. He immediately wants to start paperwork without letting me see the truck or inspect it. The very 1st piece of paperwork they have us sign is a "we don't owe" sheet....this was very strange to me, so I got up and went outside to inspect the vehicle in detail, and realized there were things missing off the truck. After bringing this to our "new salesman's" attention, he proceeds to tell me that Im wrong and the research videos on the truck from the Chicago car show are wrong, and I'm wrong about what I'm buying. After I proved him wrong, he then proceeds to tell me that the other key fob that has an automatic starter on it is not present and that they'll mail it to me.... but remember, they had us sign the "we don't owe you anything" first thing when we walked in??? Now that they are caught lying, they send a manager out to tell me how sorry they are and that they'll do ANYTHING to not lose this deal on a $56,xxx truck.....at this point we are so irritated disappointed, we don't really want to give them business because they obviously can NOT be trusted. So After we talked about it over dinner we decided to give these guys a chance to make things right. Jerry(our original salesman that dished us off when we walked in the door after traveling an hour and a half to give them business) agreed that they were wrong and that they were going to make it right. We left to go feed our kids and I told him to text me with their solution and we would possibly come back to purchase this truck. About 30 minutes into our dinner Jerry texts me saying they aren't going to do anything and that the only thing they'll do is honor our original deal. So against our better judgement, we decide to go back and give them 1 more shot at making things right....I mean its a huge purchase and sale of a high dollar vehicle, right???? These ding dongs make us sit for another 25-30 minutes to get into the finance office at 8pm with 2 kids after they got caught lying..., and on top of that, they were not ready for us even after all the communication.....Now last but not least, we finally get into the finance office and this guy is already acting like a prick before we even get started. That was the final breaking point for us! These idiots blew a huge GUARANTEED truck sale! If I were Mr. Bommarito, I would fire this whole staff! These guys are like clowns in a circus. My advise to anyone looking to purchase a GMC is to go to Laura Buick and GMC in Collinsville, IL. it will be worth your time and you will be treated with respect. I am currently trying to push this disaster to a much higher level since these guys caused me to miss out on a different great GMC deal from another dealership. We are trying to contact the owner to show him messages and emails to get me in there and then the crap they pulled when we got there! STAY AWAY FROM BOMMARITO GMC!!!! He always made sure to answer any questions that I had during the leasing process. David Baumann could not have been more helpful and imformative. He is defiantly an asset to your organization. I visited this dealership today for my routine maintenance and tire rotation and was greeted promptly and warmly by David and Cookie in the service bay. Soon after I exited the car, both were eager to give me tips on how to avoid problems on cold, winter days (today was one of those days!) with the wiper blades. I didn't have to stand around awkwardly or anything for a bunch of paperwork and was on my way to the the waiting area in just a couple minutes. When my vehicle was ready, there wasn't a long wait or anything (my service was complimentary per our purchase agreement) before I was in my vehicle and on the road. My only drawback with this visit was that once I got in my vehicle and looked over my invoice, I noticed they didn't perform the 27-point inspection, that I thought was standard at Certified Service departments - at least it was in the last few dealerships I visited, including my previous visit here to Bommarito. It's not a HUGE deal I guess, but I like to know that the place performing work on my vehicle is checking everything (hoses, belts, battery, tread depth, etc.) to make sure its in proper working order - especially in the winter. Despite that, my other visits here (for my vehicle purchase in February and maintenance in June) were great. I would recommend Bommarito to any of my friends who are looking to buy a new vehicle or have service done. read more

These sales guys will lie and tell you anything to sell you a vehicle. I bought a used Ford edge from them and it had new tires put on before I showed up to buy. That was part of the negotiations of the price. They said "well we just put new tires on it". When i had some warranty issues with the tires and i called back, they said "we didn't put those tires on... it was the previous owner". Who in the right mind puts brand new tires on right before trading in a vehicle. They just don't care about customer service. Beware!! read more

I traded in my car for a 2007 Toyota Tundra. Scott came to me and handed me a small flyer that listed the Bommarito difference. I told him about my car and pointed to the truck. We went through everything and were in his office filling out the paperwork. He came back with the offer for my car and the truck, with car faxes on both. There wasn't anything to negotiate. It was right on the money with no games. Before I could sit down at a desk, I was walked to finance and I was introduced to Bernie. Before I knew it, I was walking out the door with a new set of keys and a big smile. I want to say, the entire experience from start to finish wasn't much longer than and hour. I appreciate people who are upfront and respect your time. I was treated with white gloves service. I will tell you that I have everyone I dealt with in my contacts on my phone. I have been telling friends about my experience and will continue to. I usually take the license plate frame off every vehicle I buy. This is the first time I years I'm leaving them on. I brought my Buick Enclave in because it had a service light on; and I was about to hit my extended warranty mileage so I requested they look it over to see what else I might have wrong with it. I have 3 Issues with this place: 1)They don't do their homework/research. After 5 days in the shop, they told me I needed a new catalytic converter for $1200 not covered by warranty. After doing my research, and talking to several other shops, was told that a catalytic converter doesn't go bad; something caused it. The 2nd place I went to get an opinion, got the same code, but recommended I get a full tank of good fuel and call them back if the light came back on and they'd further investigate. 2 tanks of gas, 1 month, a few hundred miles later, still no light. Seems to be running fine. Why didn't they try this - or at least consider other options - before recommending I put $1200 in the vehicle? 2) Provided false documentation: I requested my side mirror be fixed (it was under warranty), they never called me back after I stated I wanted to do that. But mycarfax shows it as repaired! 3) Zero documentation on the Multi-Point inspection form. It's blank. They charged me $80 for the diagnostic and they didn't even do the multi-point inspection! FWIW I would have preferred to write an email to someone at the shop, but there is no option to do so on the website. read more
