Bon Appetina's is phenomenal! Seriously, this place is such a hidden gem, if you're in the market for a great designer sugar cookie then look no further. Bon Appetina's was actually recently recommended to me by another bakery after my first cookie designer fell through. And I have to say I'm so happy I had gotten this recommendation because my vision for my sons birthday cookies truly came to life. I had messaged them 10 days before my event and they were so accommodating. They prefer emailing them directly instead of using yelp so they can respond quicker but they responded within hours of me inquiring if it was even possible to still get these cookies done. I sent them pictures of what we wanted and they gave me some options on exactly how I'd want them. Bon Appetina has limited hours and days of operation but they truly deliver on their products. Not only were these sugar cookies beautiful but also some of the best sugar cookies I've ever tasted. And not only did they look and taste amazing but they also prepackaged them all for me to make my life that much easier and the packaging was included in their pricing which many places charge extra for. They sent me an invoice the day before pickup and when I got there to pick up the cookies they even went through the box to make sure I was happy with the final product. Truly spectacular service all the way around. These were such great party favors for my sons birthday. I know if I ever need cookies for any type of event this will be my go to place.

Had them do custom cookies with my friends Bitmoji face and they turned out awesome! Also I had them do Beyoncé cookies for a watch party I had several years ago and never did a review for that ( shame on me). Basically they're the Sh@& and if you're looking for custom cookies this is your place.

Look at these amazing cookies!

My daughters cookies and cake pops where perfect for her party! They tasted delicious and were so cute on her Sweets Table! Amazing customer service, they went out of their way to make sure I was able to have a pick up time that worked for me. Very talented and I can't wait to order again for my mother n laws birthday celebration in October!! The colors were exactly what I expressed I wanted too. Very satisfied with the finished product.

My employer has some custom printed cookies made recently, handed out to staff. Looked amazing, tasted great, had an unknown hair/fiber in it so that's. Fun.

My whole experience was a 10/10! They made my custom made Winnie the Pooh sugar cookies for my baby shower and they're absolutely beautiful. I ordered 24 and they're all not only packaged with care but made with love as well! You can really tell they took there time! Even with my rattles they switched the color of the lettering so that it would match perfectly (the little things that they don't have to do). They accommodated my needs and everything went very smooth! I will 100% be coming back here for any special event and I also got a sample cookie which was absolutely delicious may I add! 10/10 recommend!!

Guys. I literally am writing this with tears in my eyes! I recently ordered from another bakery, only to have her cancel 2 (TWO!!!) Days before an event. Frantic, I called 3 places to see if anyone could help me with 40 cake pops for my god-daughters first birthday party.. Not one could help me. My last call was to Bon Appetina's. I should have called them first! I called asking for literally anything, if they had any left-overs..anything.. Without hesitation or the slightest sound of annoyance in his voice that this crazy lady was asking for 40 cake pops in 24 hours, he let me know that he would see what he could do. I didn't even explain my situation to him until after peter told me he could at least ask! He called me 15 minutes later, saying he could do it, and even make some cute simple designs! HE DELIVERED THEM THE NEXT DAY. When he dropped the box off, he asked me to open them and look, because the designs he had told me about on the phone were not what we had talked about. I opened the box to these amazing cake pops! He had heard me say them theme was "baby shark", and they created little sharks with details and FINS omg I died. These people had no idea who i was, didn't have to care about my petty first world problem, yet they went out of their way to go above and beyond. They are just as delicious as they were adorable, they made the shark pops red velvet (so genius lol) and the water pops cookies and cream... I legit will now find a reason to order cake pops for every occasion because of this place.

I cannot say enough good things about Bon Appetina's. Peter was incredibly thorough and kind throughout our emails planning out what treats we wanted for the party. He accommodated every request we made, and the designs they chose and printed for the "1" and "2" cookies were awesome. The cake pops we requested, lions in party hats, were absolutely adorable. Everyone in attendance commented on how cute the treats were--and how delicious!!! Everything we ordered from Bon Appetina's tasted and looked great. Friendly, professional service with quality made baked goods. You really couldn't ask for a better experience. They went above and beyond, and we are so thankful!

I ordered cookies for my daughter's graduation party from the UW. They turned our perfect. My daughter posted a picture of the cookies on Instagram and said, "Thanks to my mom for being extra!" The owner was very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

7th-graders celebrating end of the school year with Bon Appetina's emoji cookies!

I love Bon Appetina's! Their cookies and cake pops are not only perfectly decorated for any occasion, but are delicious, too! I order end of the year cookies every year for my middle school students; last year's emoji design cookies were a big hit with my 7th-graders! These cookies aren't just for kids, though - - my husband & I enjoy their artisanal chocolate chip cookies, too!

SHOUT OUT TO PETER AT BON APPETINA's. I called from Florida about special cookies for a family member in WA who had Covid. Peter was wonderful, as he designed special Cookies and made sure they got there. My family member is better & loved the cookies. Thanks Peter for being so kind. Bless you.

Now it's not very often that a small mom-and-pop gets bought out and the new Owner makes the product better - but in this case the O'Hara's made very sure they not only maintained but improved on the product. Deliciously made cookies and cake pops, with perfect shortbread texture and hard shell icing makes their treats irresistible! Top job ...

So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.

The cabbage rolls are delicious, the meatballs are fantastic, and their fresh-baked breads and pastries are some of my favorites in the area. That being said... I made the mistake of coming here on a Saturday afternoon. First, the parking lot. Wow. It took me probably 10-15 minutes just to find a parking spot. There simply isn't enough parking for the number of people that come here on weekends, so everyone is circling the lot waiting for someone to leave. Then, once you finally find a space, people don't leave enough room to get in or out because traffic is coming from every direction. If driving stresses you out, I'd honestly recommend visiting during the week instead. Monday through Friday around lunchtime has always been a much easier experience for me. Inside was just as busy. The deli counter had a huge line, and the store was packed with people. It was difficult to move around because shoppers were constantly walking in front of each other without much awareness of those around them. None of that is really the store's fault--it just speaks to how popular they are--but it definitely made for a stressful visit. The reason I stopped in this time was to finally try some of the desserts, and I'm so glad I did. The honey cake was absolutely incredible and easily my favorite. I'll definitely be buying that again. I also tried the Spartak cake, which was good, but the honey cake stole the show for me. I couldn't decide on one of the mousse cakes because they all looked amazing, so I asked the employee behind the counter to pick her favorite. She recommended the mango mousse cake, and she was right--it was delicious. The white chocolate shell gives way to a light, tangy mango mousse with actual pieces of mango inside. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The only downside is the price. The mousse cakes are roughly palm-sized and around $10 each. While they were very good, I finished mine in one sitting, whereas the honey cake and Spartak lasted me much longer and cost less. Overall, I absolutely recommend this market. The food, bakery, and hot deli are excellent, and I'll definitely keep coming back. My only advice is simple: avoid Saturday afternoons if you can. You'll probably enjoy the experience a whole lot more.

The floral arrangements and product displays were clearly designed with great care. All the items are wrapped in plastic wrap to keep them fresh. The shop is quite spacious, and the interesting paintings on the walls really leave an impression. All of this plays a huge role in building up their customer base. Service: The signage inside is clear, and everyone lines up in an orderly way. The staff is warm and welcoming, and they even asked if I wanted my bread warmed up. The order came out very fast--overall, a great service experience. Taste: I ordered two pastries: an almond croissant and a chocolate croissant. The almond croissant was packed with ingredients, with a thick, rich layer of processed almond filling in the middle. The texture was great--highly recommended! However, the chocolate croissant was a total disaster!!! My first bite was actually satisfying; the chocolate flavor and texture were rich. But on my second bite, I realized... it was underbaked. So disappointing.
