The salad dressing was different from what I'm use to but it was fresh. The miso soup was good. My rice and noodles I requested without teriyaki sauce and like it without the sweet taste. The steak was very tender and the shrimp was very tasty. The chef ( Leo ) was very good at his job didn't overcook anything he was friendly and he was concerned about how all our food was cooked but I would never recommend ViVi as your waitress!!. This is a nice casual ambiance that is very comforting.

We go here every year for my birthday as we travel home from Logees green house. It's a hike from where we live (1+hr each way) but it's worth every mile - I'll tell you that for free. I know a blue crab quesadilla sounds strange but it's probably my favorite item on the menu! The servers are kind and quite attentive so that's always nice as well. The restaurant itself is a bit dark and probably more suited to dinner rather than the lunch we do each trip but it's very cool and more importantly very clean. Five stars - seriously check this place out even if you have to drive a distance to get there!

Went to Bon for Hibachi with my girl friends. We had Ashley P for our waitress and she was wonderful & super accommodating! the hibachi guy was really fun too. Food was good , service was great & a fun atmosphere!

Hibachi rice, shrimps and file.. pretty good, felt kinda rushed. The food was ok and the cook was funny.

Food was pretty good, service was very interesting. I have to say I felt like the food preparation was a little rushed, I also notice the food portions were less. Not sure what is happening, I did enjoy the ambiance and the people I shared the table with. The food tasted pretty good. I would recommend this place I guess

We were looking for some warm food and decided to stop by this bistro. We ordered some drinks to start with, a rum and Coke and one of the cocktails there, and were pretty good. For starters, we got the Spring Rolls, which were hot and yummy! We were expecting 2 per order but actually got 3! And also got a Miso Soup which was really good. For entrees, we ordered a Dragon Roll which was really good, and Veggie Noddles, those were delicious! For dessert, we had the Ice Cream Tempura which was also delicious!!! Our server was super nice and the ambience was ok.

The manager/ hostess was not very friendly when we arrived. Almost bothered when we asked to do the Hibachi. With no one in line she gave us a 20 min wait so me and my 3 guests took a table. Then we decided to do the hibachi and after a huff and puff we were moved in 5 minutes. Then the waitress disappeared and that host was kind of rushing us. Her customer service was annoying. But let's get to the good.... The chef was awesome and delivered good food with great entertainment. He did however tell us that we did not order noodles and then they ended up on the bill!! Overall the food is good- a bit salty - pricey but to be expected however they do not give a shrimp appetizer with the meal! Not sure if I will return giving that there are better Hibachi restaurants just reopened but maybe.

Overall the service was great and ambiance was nice. Lots of kids and families which I feel like you can expect at hibachi. I ordered the filet and chicken hibachi with a side of noodles. The steak was cooked perfectly and was so delicious but the rice was just steamed rice. I wish it was mixed into the sauce and a little more fried. I wonder if we had sat in the back that would have been the case. Overall nice experience and I would return

Fried rice with Hibachi Filet Mignon and Lobster and a pomegranate martini

The food is really good here. I got the habachi fried rice lobster and fillet mignon, and another order of the lobster and steak combo. The filet mignon is much more tender and worth the extra money versus the regular steak, but both were really good. The gyoza was delicious and the sauce was better than average. The lemon drop martini was very bitter but strong. The service from the waiter was mediocre, but Cook was great I am definitely coming here again! The yum yum sauce was good and a bit Spicy. I went back for a second time and got the same dish but a pomegranate martini instead and that drink was strong but tasted much better than the lemon drop. It was a bit sweeter will be visiting again soon.

The food wasn't the best I have ever had but... The hibachi guy was the best thrower! I must have caught 6 pieces in a row and it wasn't my skills but his! It wasn't a fluke either my friend was on the same path...

Came for lunch on the weekend, the place was not too crowded. We were sat immediately. Service was good, food was well enjoyed. We will be back to try their dinner options.

Amidst being fresh and brightly colored, the dish was quite bland overall. I begged for some elevated heat and flavor profiles-- it definitely fell short and was not spicy in the least. And I'm not a fan of a grease soaked platter... maybe it settled while I drove home but I definitely mopped up oil with a napkin/strained. No bueno. *Sidebar: They have a delicious green sauce that was really tasty and quite frankly saved the dish. I opted for this in place of a sweet Chili Glaze sauce that is provided because I hate sweet flavor profiles in all things dinner! Lol MVP: A wonderfully kind and efficient staff... the order was complete, error free, prepared timely and everyone was very friendly. The best item I purchased was the SANGRIA topped with fresh pineapple! Not the food-- it was all about their in-house beverages. Unfortunately, the set up is almost buffet like with add ons (I paid extra for Pico de Gallo... this also elevated the dish. With the sauce I selected and the pico, the dish literally would have been as bland as a cardboard sandwich). Perhaps it's me-- my palette is pretty elevated and I love heat. Peruvian dishes aren't exactly known for bombastic flavors, spice and heat... but the crowd and utter lack of parking got me excited. Will I return? Perhaps... definitely for a different item (perhaps the roasted chicken everyone was eagerly ordering) and it's a must on the sangria option! But $32.90 for a very basic fried rice mixed with lo mein moment + salad (I tipped $3 amidst to go).... Nah. I'd be lying if I said it was worth it. Lovely aesthetic and energy, however. Chef's energy on the food though was a miss.... Season! The! Food! Sir!

They do have a menu - takeout or dine in (few tables but the space is small) and they also have cafeteria style prepared foods that you can peruse. I called in an order for Chicken Mee Ka Tang (Cantonese Noodles), Beef Pho, Cold Cut banh mi, Lort (Cambodian eggrolls) and a Vietnamese coffee for the mister. When we got there I was enticed by the offerings and got a small container of the braised pork and eggs and stuffed bitter melon (don't knock it people, it is an acquired taste, lol). We really enjoyed everything we had but our faves were the banh mi (great flavor and didn't skimp on the meats at all!) and the Mee Ka Tang - it did have a bit more gravy than I'm used to but really great flavors - add a little bit of chili oil or sriracha and chefs kiss! The pork and eggs were a tad bit too sweet and pork was tougher than I'd like other than that, everything was delicious. Service was super quick and food was ready as promised. We didn't have to wait for it at all which I can appreciate! Looking forward to returning to this mom and pop shop!! Can't wait to come back!

I walked into a space that is small and moody, the kind of room that feels lived in rather than designed for a particular aesthetic, and it suited the casual neighborhood feel of the surrounding area. The hot stone bibimbap is the dish that comes up most consistently and with the most enthusiasm. I ordered it and the stone bowl arrived sizzling. The rice along the bottom edges got crispy against the heat in a way that changed the texture and flavor of the whole dish as I ate through it. The beef and mushroom tofu versions are both well executed, and the egg on top finished the bowl correctly. The katsu is a solid option for anyone coming in looking for something more straightforward. I tried it and the breading was crispy while the cutlet inside stayed tender, and the sauce ratio was handled well rather than drowning what was underneath. The gyoza, japchae, seafood pancakes, and yaki soba fill out a menu that covers enough ground to satisfy a table with different preferences. Side dishes are served in modest portions, which was the main point of friction for me since I am used to more generous banchan. Food came out at a good pace and arrived hot. For Korean and Japanese comfort food in Providence, Den Den is a reliable and genuinely satisfying stop.

We were sadly in a rush and had to be out by a certain time to catch a show, and our server understood the assignment and got us out on the tight schedule we needed. I'm just sad I had to slurp down my soup so quickly as it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered the Snow Mountain Ramen - the creamy tofu broth is unlike anything I've had and was so so unique and delicious. I thought about it for at least a week straight after eating it and am still dying to go back to get more. I also got the Iced Rose Matcha drink - $10 felt too pricy for this but I wanted a fun drink and a little caffeine kick - and again the flavors were unique and tasty. Both my friend and I happened to see someone we knew here - it's definitely a popular spot! It was packed on a Saturday night but it was still pretty quick for us to get a table for 2. Being a downtown city restaurant, the tables feel a bit cramped and I was a little too close to the table next to me for comfort - claustrophobics beware (honestly the soup is worth it though!!) Parking is pretty easy in the lot, although Holy crap they need to fix the potholes / harsh drop-off where it meets the street, and it still was not fully plowed many weeks after the big snowstorm (it's a shared lot so not a Y Noodle specific issue, but just saying). The only thing that was unpleasant were the bathrooms - I get it was a busy weekend night, but they reeked of a litter box the second you stepped in, the floor was dirty and very wet with unknown substances, and the Dyson hand dryer is at such a weird, too high level on the wall that it sprayed water in my face. Everything else was a dream, can't wait to go back! Hopefully the bathrooms were just a fluke.

I actually don't remember anything about the interior to comment much. I was laser focused on getting food in my tummy. We ordered; Tan Tan Men ; a bowl of ramen with spicy pork miso broth. this absolutely hit the spot. it was deliciously salty and full of umami, and the toppings were just right, and I inhaled it in minutes Fried Calamari ; another excellent dish. the calamari was nice and crispy and the meat was tender. couldn't have been done any better. the mango chili puree sauce was also very good and something I haven't had before Tako Yaki ; I'm not sure if I need to say anything about this. it's about as yummy and expected of a properly-done tako yaki as you would expect Karaage ; this one was actually pretty upsetting with how bad it was. the chicken seemed like it was very overcooked - the skin was hard and crunchy instead of crispy, the meat was not juicy, and honestly the portions of these chicken bites were pitiful. I even sent a snap to a friend and she felt bad for me. the flavor was also immensely salty. it came with spicy mayo (which was actually spicy! that never happens!) and a tonkatsu sauce, but honestly I was desperately in need of something sweet like ketchup or honey. Wife and I ate a total of 3 pieces. Our waiter was very apologetic and asked multiple times if we wanted it re-done or if we wanted something else, but we were already pretty content by the time we could air our complaints.
