Tiny noodle.packet with soy sauce for scale.

The food is okay, a little overpriced for what you get considering the portions are so small. A small order of chow mein came with what amounts to a sample packet of crispy noodles. Given the amount of chow mein that came with it, it's useless.

In the past I have given this restaurant three stars but this time I give it four stars. Maybe it was just our menu choices that made the difference. I had a mango frozen margarita that was very good although it didn't taste at all like mango to me. Mike had a Sapporo beer and it came in small and large which was nice. We got lettuce wraps for an appetizer and they were really very good. Tasty and seasoned but they could've use just a little bit of sauce on the top. I got mu shu chicken and it was excellent, Mike got the pad Thai with all different kinds of meat on it and it was really very good. I would definitely try this restaurant again.

My wife and I went there for the very first time tonight, we had a very good meal. The fried dumplings were fantastic as well as the General Tso's Chicken and Spicy Shrimp and Scallops. The atmosphere was very nice and extremely clean. It looks better in the inside than the outside. This is the best Chinese food we've had since living in RI. Very close to what's offered in the NJ/NY area. Ignore the bad reviews. Most folks in RI have no idea what good Chinese food (or pizza) is supposed to taste like.

The dishes are rich, occasionally greasy, but oh boy--are they packed with flavor! Curry, coconut milk, and spices play starring roles in most of the dishes. The fish soup? Absolutely delicious. It can be a gamble to try fish-based soup, but I trust how most Asians prepare it, so I went for it. No regrets! Here's what we enjoyed: Nanu Pork Dumpling: A sweet, scrumptious twist on a cooked sushi roll Mohinga: Fish-based soup with rice noodles, egg, cilantro, scallions, and fried split chickpeas (so delish!). Some awesome crispy appetizer (see pic) paired with hard-boiled eggs came as a side dish. The couple who own and run this spot are incredibly gracious, patiently walking us through what to expect from each dish. The wife is the head chef, and her passion shows in every bite. I believe they also do food truck events--I noticed their colorful van parked outside. This place is a must-try. Familiar yet different and oh-so-flavorful.

Place just opened when we went so we were quickly sat down as we were the only customer. The seating is limited as there are only 3 tables available. We ordered Burmese Milk tea, Fried chicken (Sweet), Nanu chicken dumplings, stir fried noodles, and Basil Chicken with rice. Fried chicken wings were crispy, sweet and savory. Nanu dumplings were topped with scallions , fried onions and spicy mayo and were delicious. Basil chicken was flavorful with hint of spice from basil. Stir fried was also topped with fried onions and was very flavorful as well. All the food did come with plastic containers so it's easy to take home if you have leftovers. First time trying Burmese milk tea and was good but I think I prefer Thai milk tea better. Overall the place was very good. Food was great, service was good and price was fair. Only downside was that the place is small with limited seating and the place was hot because it's summer and there is no AC. They have fan and we sat in front of it but was not good enough. I would order take out next time. Other than that it's a solid place.

Dim sum is usually a brunch thing, but we were in the area for a movie and just wanted dim sum for dinner. The two of us ordered the congee with shredded pork and thousand year egg, bok choy, salty shrimp, and off of the dim sum menu: steam rice roll with shrimp, chicken feet, oyster sauce duck feet, siu mai x2, shrimp chive dumplings, and Chinese tea. Forgot to take a photo of the siu mai even though that's our favorite. We also asked for hot mustard and chili oil sauce because that's how my family has eaten dim sum and that's how we now continue to enjoy dim sum. Everything tastes as expected. The chicken feet were nice and soft and fell off the bone. The dishes weren't too salty. The salty shrimp was as advertised--salty and crunchy. The congee is a large portion because it's mostly rice and water, but I just really wanted it and it did not disappoint. The tea could have been more flavorful, it was quite light. Despite that, the tea is still a diuretic. We did end up taking some food as leftovers. The customer service was really fast and polite! The interior is pleasant with interesting decor (a spear/halberd? mounted on the wall). The table partitions are pretty tall so you don't see the other customers if they're seated adjacent. It wasn't very busy when we went on a Wednesday evening, and parking is no issue at all here. Overall a good place to get some Chinese food whether you're a party of two or a party.

The only real issue was the peanut avocado roll. The avocado was completely unripe and rock hard. We actually dropped a piece on the table and it made a loud "rock" sound. I honestly don't know how the roll was made without someone noticing how hard the avocado was. Unfortunately, they were not edible. The sushi itself was good, but some of the rolls were a little mushy, so if you're someone who is sensitive to texture, the Dynamite Roll and Triple Double Roll might not be your favorite. The spring rolls also lacked a little flavor. Overall, a decent experience, but the avocado issue was a big miss.

Scallops were good but pairings sauce and salad in the middle was ok. Garlic noodle was okay as well. Bit strong on the soy sauce but needed a bit more depth of flavor or sweetness. Sushi was good. I personally liked the eel roll. Service was good and waitress was attentive. Overall it's a solid asian restaurant offering decent sushi and asian food in the area. However it's not unique since they don't offer m anything that is significantly different from other asian restaurants. The patio outside is really clean and comfy, and it's a great spot to have lunch. What really caught my attention was the Peking Duck Quesadilla , it was AMAZING. The flavors all worked so well together, and I would definitely order it again. One thing that was a bit of a problem was that it was kind of hard to eat, everything kept falling apart, but it was so good that it didn't really matter. We got a bunch of other things too, like General Tso's Chicken, coconut rice, crab rangoons, coconut shrimp, and a shrimp sushi roll. everything was really good and fresh. The coconut rice was a great side dish, and the crab rangoons were gone in no time. The drinks were also really good, One thing though, they didn't put a lot of liquor in them, but they were still fun to drink. Our server was really great, and did a fantastic job, especially since we had a big group of 12 people. We get that it can be tough to handle a table that size. The only problem we had was with the timing of the food. Some of us got our appetizers and main courses before the others had even gotten their appetizers. It wasn't a huge issue, but it's something the kitchen could work on to make sure big groups feel like they're eating together. It would be great if they could improve that, so everyone can enjoy their meal at the same time. I would definitely go back to TigerFish. It's a great choice if you want something different from the usual Block Island food. They have really tasty food, great drinks, and a nice quiet atmosphere.

We visited midweek, so it was fairly quiet. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry and offers plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. Service was fast, friendly, and especially helpful when it came to identifying which menu items were vegan or could be modified, which we really appreciated. We ordered the B.Y.O. Tofu Spring Rolls and the Pork Potstickers. Both appetizers were generously sized. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, but having to assemble them myself at the table was a bit messy and took away from the enjoyment. I would have preferred them to come fully prepared. That said, they were still quite tasty. The pork potstickers, on the other hand, were a standout and an easy favorite of the meal. One downside was that the doors were open to enjoy the beautiful weather, but that also meant we were battling flies throughout our meal, which was a little distracting. Overall, Tigerfish was a great find with good food, knowledgeable service, and a convenient location. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely return on a future trip to Block Island.

Stopped in for takeout to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were too tired to go out somewhere. That was a mistake. We ordered five dishes, and the chicken moo shi and the chicken lo mein were the only items in the good range. Worst dish was the spicy crispy pork chop, which must have been refried a few times. Consistency was like jerky, tough, chewy to the point of having to pull the piece while in your teeth. Spicy, but after a piece we did not eat more. The general gao's chicken had too much batter on it making the pieces like chewy tootsie rolls. Last was beef and broccoli, which was okay, beef was a bit chewy and the veg was okay. Wife thinks new management or new chef, as these dishes we have curated as their best, after suffering through some not good dishes. Restaurant business is hard, proteins are expensive, now vegetables are expensive and inconsistent in pricing due to tariffs, transport costs. May have to forgo this place in the future and look to drive towards Quincy where competition makes for better restaurants.
