Every single thing we ordered was fresh and so tasty and unique! Salmon with couscous was great, brocollini was delicious and not deep fried, risotto was delicious! Definitely check it out!

The manager greeted us at the door and personally escorted us to our table, which set a professional, welcoming tone for the evening. The preordered appetizers (meatballs, shrimp, and prosciutto with melon) arrived within minutes of us sitting down and were a hit with everyone at the table. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the night, keeping drinks topped off and timing courses perfectly so conversation flowed without interruption. I ordered one of the nightly specials, a Carne Asada steak with chimichurri and fire-grilled vegetables, and the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Everyone at our table loved their food. Between the great Highland Park Village setting, excellent service, and delicious dishes, Bistro 31 delivered a flawless business dinner experience. Highly recommend -- 5/5 stars.

They took the time to patiently guide us step-by-step through the customs, timing, and what to expect from the heat, making us feel completely comfortable. I can't wait to come back! After sweating it out, the lounge serves phenomenal, authentic Russian comfort food. The borscht was deeply savory and vibrant, and the dumplings were delicate pillows of flavor tossed in melted butter. I left feeling entirely weightless, with glowing skin and a clear mind. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

This restaurant has been on my radar for quite sometime since seeing it on social media!…read more We finally had a great opportunity to give it a try since my brother's girlfriend is Russian and also wanted to come here! We went to Russian Banya on Thanksgiving Day (2025). They were serving traditional American Thanksgiving dishes as well as their normal dinner menu. We decided to try their normal menu, family style. We had a feast! Borscht (5/5): It was a cool evening, and this dish really warmed me up! The dish was delicious, and very flavorful. We ordered 1 order and split it between the 4 of us. Pilaf (5/5): The beef and fried rice was really good. The beef was tender, and the rice was flavorful. Beef stroganoff (5/5): This was my second favorite dish after borscht. The beef and potatoes were doused in a hearty gravy. For dessert, we ordered the honey cake and the napoleon cake to share between the 4 of us. The cakes were very generously portioned, and were enough to share. I loved the honey cake! It was soft, not too sweet, and a delight! For my beverage, I had the glass of mixed berry mors. I loved it so much that I ordered a full container! I took the remainder home with me. We did not try their banya (bath/sauna), but maybe next time!! The people in the banya on the other side must have been ordering beer and food because we saw the staff running back and forth between the kitchen and the banya with drinks and food! The service was spectacular, an everyone was so friendly! The restaurant is a homey mom and pop stop. There were a handful of tables.

First, you walk in and you're introduced to a small, charming, and warm space that looks straight out of a children's fairytale. Don't forget to grab a little surprise card (child friendly and adult friendly) either before you sit down or on your way out. Cute conversation starters and reflection inspiration! My objective of the night was dessert, so I didn't even bother to look at the savory souffles. While waiting for our server, my eyes were captivated by the twinkling lights around me (in the indoor space) and the sight and sounds of the chefs whisking away the souffles before they went in the oven. I was expecting Ratatouille's Remy to pop out. Anyway, as we gazed through the dessert menu, we thought we were enlightened already, but it only got better -- the specials: Strawberry and Pistachio. I'm regretting only getting the Pistachio because it was just so dang good. Will definitely be back. Austin is missing out. To the owner - Wonderful job bringing a taste of your French childhood to Dallas.

I started with the marshmallow soup, which is really a puffy goat cheese ball on top of carrot tomato soup, can't recommend this enough. My main entrée was the southwest chicken soufflé, and it was the only part of my meal. I was so so about. I would not order it again. But I did eat most of it. The chocolate soufflé was fantastic, I loved every bit of it and pouring the chocolate on top was so satisfying. Verdict: I would go again!
