Found this place when running an errand and decided to check it out. Crazy enough the have a sign saying people on yelp hate th and google loves them but I'm not sure how anyone could hate them. I went with my brother and nephews and everyone at the table was shocked how good the quality of food was and how nice of a place and amazing staff. I have nothing bad to say. It was so good kids got to go food and my brother took his wife the next day. So yes amazing choices and definitely chef quality home cooked meals.

I cannot rave about Egg House enough. The service is always incredible. The food is DELICIOUS. The coffee is NEVER burnt. It's so bright and cheerful and beautiful inside. The manager is such a joy. I LOVE COMING HERE!

Food was great and service was fine. We really loved the hot chocolate. And the eggs Benedict were scrumptious. As always I forget to get a picture before we start devouring the food. It was definitely more presentable than in our half eaten pictures! It's super cute inside as well. Nice stop in Denton for breakfast. Prices weren't bad at all either for a family of 4!

    Breakfast area

We were promptly seated at a clean table and offered beverages. Our food came out shortly after ordering and was delicious. We both ordered the Tradional breakfast with ham steak and a side of sausage gravy. The coffee was fresh and hot. Staff was friendly.

Who would have known there is a great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Denton that I was not aware of? T his place is a solid choice that hits the spot for Breakfast and Lunch! This unassuming place, located in a strip mall on University is easy to pass by and not even know you did. But then you would be missing out. Walk in though and you are in for a treat! This quaintly decored place is full of the charm and uplift in your morning that you did not even know you were missing. You will get a warm and welcoming breeding that makes you glad you stopped by. But just wait until you get your food! I ordered the Migas and my mither in law ordered the Ham & Bacon Sammich and then we got a Blueberry French Toast to share. Oh my, there wasn't anything we regretted ordering, in fact quit the opposite. This. Was one of those meals that you are full long before you stop eating and you leave kind of miserable but very satisfied!

Nice little breakfast restaurant. They were kind of busy when we visited but service was quick. Everything tasted very fresh and the "European Coffee" was very nice. I ordered the Southern Combo and the meats were all very tasty and it came with some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had! Would definitely like to come back. The only downside was I originally ordered the eggs Benedict but was told that they were out of the english muffins.

The food tasted pretty good from here. they do not have free refills. they have a special salsa. coincidentally got the runs after.

    Steak skillet

Steak skillet is as good as it sounds. While there seems like a lot of amazing breakfast options, what really makes this place special is the superbly friendy staff. It's always nice to feel neighborly in a small business!

Bussin waffle and chicken cooked to perfections & seasoned with the best herbs and spices.

Food is served so fast and waiters/waitresses are just so personable. music is lively and interior is fresh and clean. owner is very active and engaged well with dancing smiling and even serving customers with great attitude. So happy I decided to eat here for the first time. definitely gotta come back, and spend some more and try some more of that menu.

The Cafe has a very relaxed atmosphere! Very clean and comfortable. My wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent service! The food I had was tasty. I ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet. It was served warm and as I had ordered. My eggs were cooked perfect. The Hash browns were crispy. My meal came with an order of pancakes! They were fluffy and tasty. Served with butter and syrup!

Upon entering, a lovely lady greets me immediately and gives me my choice of seating. Either a booth or a retro stool at the counter. Not desiring to sit alone at the counter, I choose a cozy booth. Each booth has its on lighting fixture emitting low glow tones that create an intimate feeling. I receive the menu and cast my eyes over the menu which offers the gamut of breakfast all day or varieties of burgers, Reuben's, and classics like pastrami or a Philly - definitely a New York vibe. Finally, my eyes focus on the hot dogs of which there are four options. I choose the Coney Dog, After waiting a few anxious minutes, I receive the luxurious Coney Dog. Thick hot dog nestled in meatless chili, mustard and and diced white onions, surrounded by crinkly fries. With no hesitation I lunged into a heavenly bite. As I finished lapping it up , I discovered on the table the Happy Hour Menu. Note to self, please try. Starting at 3:00 pm and going until 11:00pm you can have pitchers of mimosas or beers with a smattering of bar food choices. I'm thinking of the Jalapeño Poppers. For the sweet tooth, there is a sweet co-mingling of either English - Sticky Toffee Pudding or Mexican -Churros. The beautiful floor to ceiling windows give a clear view of the goings on at the Denton Square. If you are marrooned in Denton, I'd get myself over to Dix Coney Island and stay awhile.

There are corn cakes, for those eating gluten free, if you're still wanting pancakes. They're decent. The cinnamon rolls are huge, & not a typical cinnamon roll, as they're made from scratch. Covered in icing! Biscuits are layered, & delicious. French toast is really good, but it's also the same dough used for biscuits, so it isn't like your normal slice of bread French toast. The coffee is from "Avoca," a local roaster in Fort Worth. Sooooo good. Lot of options for the fancy coffee drinkers, at the coffee bar BTW Prices: about $10-20 a plate. So you don't have anyone coming to your table, everything is self serve, which is great I used to come here weekly, every Friday morning lol it's well worth stopping in and trying. Only issue I've ever had with it is parking, if it's during a crowded time lol

When we arrived I noticed how clean the restaurant was from the outside and it proved to be that way on the inside. We were seated promptly. There were about 5 other tables occupied at the time. I wish that I had gotten a picture of our food but I didn't think about it because I am not one that normally reviews businesses unless specifically asked to do so. I am a Chicken fired steak snob and I have to say that this one passed the test. It was the perfect size. It was tender enough that I did not need a knife to cut it. I had a side of green beans and mashed potatoes with it. This hit the spot for home cooking. My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.
