    Eggs Benedict
    Santanu S.

When I ordered the Eggs Benedict, my waitress asked for my selections. If I wanted the turkey bacon or a different protein. Whether I preferred hash browns or fruit. I was surprised to be asked if I wanted the eggs scrambled or poached. I have never had a Benedict with scrambled eggs and today would not be that day. I chose the items mentioned on the menu, turkey bacon and fruit. Their version was on the healthy side especially with the hollandaise sauce served on the side. A mild salsa was also served on the side as a healthier substitute for the hollandaise. A pleasant surprise was the fruit cup. At other restaurants, it would mostly be comprised of grapes. Theirs were blueberries and strawberries with some pineapple pieces. My waitress would come by several times with a coffee pot. Because my food was served quickly, I only needed my cup refilled once. The check had several gratuity options calculated pre-tax. When I went to pay, the register had different options. The actual amounts were not listed, so I chose to enter a custom amount.

We were promptly seated at a clean table and offered beverages. Our food came out shortly after ordering and was delicious. We both ordered the Tradional breakfast with ham steak and a side of sausage gravy. The coffee was fresh and hot. Staff was friendly.

Found this place when running an errand and decided to check it out. Crazy enough the have a sign saying people on yelp hate th and google loves them but I'm not sure how anyone could hate them. I went with my brother and nephews and everyone at the table was shocked how good the quality of food was and how nice of a place and amazing staff. I have nothing bad to say. It was so good kids got to go food and my brother took his wife the next day. So yes amazing choices and definitely chef quality home cooked meals.

Food was great and service was fine. We really loved the hot chocolate. And the eggs Benedict were scrumptious. As always I forget to get a picture before we start devouring the food. It was definitely more presentable than in our half eaten pictures! It's super cute inside as well. Nice stop in Denton for breakfast. Prices weren't bad at all either for a family of 4!

Who would have known there is a great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Denton that I was not aware of? T his place is a solid choice that hits the spot for Breakfast and Lunch! This unassuming place, located in a strip mall on University is easy to pass by and not even know you did. But then you would be missing out. Walk in though and you are in for a treat! This quaintly decored place is full of the charm and uplift in your morning that you did not even know you were missing. You will get a warm and welcoming breeding that makes you glad you stopped by. But just wait until you get your food! I ordered the Migas and my mither in law ordered the Ham & Bacon Sammich and then we got a Blueberry French Toast to share. Oh my, there wasn't anything we regretted ordering, in fact quit the opposite. This. Was one of those meals that you are full long before you stop eating and you leave kind of miserable but very satisfied!

Nice little breakfast restaurant. They were kind of busy when we visited but service was quick. Everything tasted very fresh and the "European Coffee" was very nice. I ordered the Southern Combo and the meats were all very tasty and it came with some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had! Would definitely like to come back. The only downside was I originally ordered the eggs Benedict but was told that they were out of the english muffins.

The food tasted pretty good from here. they do not have free refills. they have a special salsa. coincidentally got the runs after.

    Steak skillet

Steak skillet is as good as it sounds. While there seems like a lot of amazing breakfast options, what really makes this place special is the superbly friendy staff. It's always nice to feel neighborly in a small business!

Bussin waffle and chicken cooked to perfections & seasoned with the best herbs and spices.

Food is served so fast and waiters/waitresses are just so personable. music is lively and interior is fresh and clean. owner is very active and engaged well with dancing smiling and even serving customers with great attitude. So happy I decided to eat here for the first time. definitely gotta come back, and spend some more and try some more of that menu.

This is a GREAT place for breakfast. I had the Charrizo breakfast skillet, the fresh squeezed OJ was amazing. It was DELICIOUS. Service was excellent, very attentive, the place was spotless, I will definitely be going back

There are corn cakes, for those eating gluten free, if you're still wanting pancakes. They're decent. The cinnamon rolls are huge, & not a typical cinnamon roll, as they're made from scratch. Covered in icing! Biscuits are layered, & delicious. French toast is really good, but it's also the same dough used for biscuits, so it isn't like your normal slice of bread French toast. The coffee is from "Avoca," a local roaster in Fort Worth. Sooooo good. Lot of options for the fancy coffee drinkers, at the coffee bar BTW Prices: about $10-20 a plate. Pancakes are pretty big, so you will be full. Everything is reasonable for portion size, compared to price Environment- hipster. Open, can be loud if music is loud, making everyone else talk louder Service- you walk up to the register & order. Menu is on wall, as well as some handheld menus if waiting in line. So you don't have anyone coming to your table, everything is self serve, which is great I used to come here weekly, every Friday morning lol it's well worth stopping in and trying. Only issue I've ever had with it is parking, if it's during a crowded time lol

You seat yourself, but we had some trouble finding a clean table. Not sure what was going on, but it seemed like the people who bus tables were busy doing other things. Maybe expo? Then I was confused by how to get our drink orders (they give you one of those table numbers, and then the drinks area has a matching one they put out when your order is ready). So a little of a learning curve, but let's get to the good stuff: the food. This menu is unique and has something for everyone. I lean vegetarian, so I was looking for something on the lighter side. I got the caramelized grapefruit and a Bee's Knees, which is granola, honey, berries and warm milk. I chose the oat milk. I also got the blueberry latte with oat milk, which was actually a tea drink. It was a delicious combo. My partner got the loco moco with sausage and jalapeño butter, scrambled eggs and hash brown. He ended up wanting more than one sausage patty, but I feel like we will know for next time. His other wish was that the jalapeño butter would be more spicy. I will want to go back next time we are in Denton, because I appreciate any restaurant that spends time finding unique flavors and menu offerings, especially for people like me who are not into the typical heavy breakfast menu items. Give it a try!

On this morning, quite a few two-tops were available. Fortunately, there was no need to sit by the bar as those stools had no backs. I ordered the Classic Breakfast. The buttermilk pancakes, of which I barely finished half, were very delicious. The sausage patties were equally delightful. The same could not be said of the syrup which congealed as it poured. Although the fried eggs had a pleasant taste, I failed to be more precise on how they were to be cooked as the yolk was liquified. When I ordered the Holiday Brew drip coffee, I wished the cashier had suggested the Bottomless Drip. As I usually drink more than a single cup, I could have saved some money. Regardless, the coffee had a very pleasant taste. When gratuity was requested, it would have been very beneficial to know for what I was tipping? When I ordered off the breakfast menu, the price was not for the raw ingredients but the cost of it being made. The same with ordering drip coffee. When I saw the silverware by the cream and coffee sweetener, I expected to grab my own utensils. As it was my initial visit, the sign to bus my own table was totally unexpected. It definitely explained why there were a lot of crumbs on the table. Since the sign was near the back, it would have been easily missed if I had not visited the restroom.

Unfortunately after all is said and done, this place missed many of the marks for a place to get tacos. 1) looking at the menu and it's very limited and more importantly, they don't even list what meats they have or prices, which is really odd (for tacos, they only list 3 bean ones, 3 potato ones, and barbacoa). I shouldn't have to ask what meats they have or how much the tacos cost. 2) the carne asada and chicken both tasted far too similar despite being vastly different meats and were over cooked, so a few crunchy parts to it. They were also very dry. The barbacoa was good and the other one (don't recall what it's called, but they said they cook pork, onions, jalapenos, and a couple other things together) was really good as well, though they should have at least double the tortillas for those 2 since the tortillas tried falling apart despite eating them within 10 minutes of leaving. 3) they were def over priced for what you get, at like $3.39 or so PER taco... Most places are still $2-$3 and come with more meat and better tortillas 4) yea, I know I'm white and all, but they asked if I wanted them on flour tortillas which is blasphemy for good street tacos, but this one is just being nit picky with since out of the hundreds of tacos places had over the years, can count on 1 hand how many taquerias jumped to flour tortillas lol... One good note, though, the tortillas tasted like made there or they have a really good vendor, and didn't taste like grocery store ones Both of the hot sauces also had a decent flavor and a little bit of spice, so those were pretty good
