The pain was still not controlled, and when I told the dr I was still in pain he started treating me like a drug seeker "we will not be giving you opioids tonight." Then when I got tired of his smart aleck attitude I asked him if he treated everyone this way. He just kept repeating "do you have any other questions?" Over and over. Then I'd ask him one and he would ask me "do you have any other questions?" I asked him why was he talking to me like a robot. I Then asked to speak to a patient advocate because I knew he was stereotyping me and refusing to treat my pain in an appropriate way. With a smirk on his face he said "it's the middle of the night on a Friday, no one's here but me." Then he walked out. His name was Dr (I use that title loosely) Jeffrey Mason. I will be contacting a patient advocate on Monday and reporting the way he degraded me. The charge nurse and all the other nurses there advocated for me but he wouldn't budge. It was weird. They saw the pain I was in. All he saw was what he wanted to see. People like HIM should not be Dr's.

We were greeted with a friendly face at reception, followed by a full team is staff who assessed what tests were needed and took action. Dr. Jones and nurses were so very attentive. With the renovations, everything is literally a mess: wet paint, random contractors in and out. ,As a result of all the moving parts, the wait time was more than advertised. When I arrived, the wait time was 15 minutes, but it took closer to 40 minutes to be seen. Once I got to an exam room, everything went sort of quickly from there. My vitals were taken, I received an X-ray, talked to the doctor, and got a splint in 30 minutes or less. Overall, the care was great, and the doctor and staff were thorough and knowledgeable. Once renovations are complete, I am hopeful the process will be more streamlined.

I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN…read more My son is disabled and they threatened to call the police on him when he was returning my brace. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY. Improper fit for a $200.00 knee brace that slid to my ankle and became a trip hazard. Went back the next day with the brace and a letter. I asked my son to bring it inside because my torn Miniscus was burning. They would not take it, wouldn't let him leave it, called it " his trash", threatened to call the police. He ran out of there. The bag with the brace had a letter in it from me. I told my son to throw it on the sidewalk in front of the clinic. I was in severe pain and didn't drive 30 minutes for this. I had already found one I got 18 months ago in Blacksburg. It stays up. They changed my Ortho Doctor appointment to that I had in 4 days to March. It has been two weeks of excruciating pain already. The Diclofenac pills that the physician assistant ordered do NOTHING. It hurts worse. Inconsistent care quality. I had made a plan with the Ortho Virginia knee department to go to Ortho On Call first and the see a real doctor in a few days. They pushed my appointment back 2 1/2 weeks! I changed it back to the same day myself. Useless.

DISPATCH HEALTH IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!! Have been unable to book an appointment on two different occasions. The portal states there is availability in my area and to call them. After calling them, I was told there was no availability for the next 48 hours. I call the very next morning as soon as they open and again, no appointments available for the next 48 hours. They have generally good reviews, and I loved the idea of a home visit. They arrived on time the nest day, after setting the time by phone early in the morning. Two very nice, very professional health workers, a nurse and a physicians-assistant, came to my house, did a very thorough exam, asked appropriate questions, and gave me a covid test on my front porch. They also wrote some prescriptions for me to ease the cough and other symptoms. They sent their results to my primary-care doctor, and called later to check on me and give some advice, which impressed me. They were friendly, thoughtful, and professional. And it's way better to be treated at home than to visit a clinic somewhere. Expectations were exceeded by Heather and Stephanie every step of the way. Highly recommended.

The perfect spot for when you are sick and want to get in and out without waiting. They also offer appointments. So I made a Sunday appointment and 15 minutes later I received a call back, that the establishment did not have a provider on staff for the day (ie: doctor etc). Ok no Sunday help for me. I was able to reschedule for the morning. The waiting room was virtually empty and I still had to wait 35 minutes from my appt time before I could meet with the nurse. He has issues with dehydration. He took a fall this week and twice last week. I am only part time. The squad came and took him to this dump. He has been in there since this past Monday with no real answers. First they were looking at normal pressure hydrocephelas, where cerebral spinal fluid backs up, and begins creating neuromuscular issues, such as with balance, gait, mobility, and mental processing. We were told a small shunt would solve the issue, confirming it would be determined with a spinal tap. Upon visiting yesterday, he was NPO, which we thought meant he was scheduled for the procedure. He also had an MRI to rule out any cerebral issues or seeing if the falls did any damage. Now, they seemed more concerned about his cervical spine and doing some overpriced surgery that could kill him, while completely ignoring any of the neurological issues previously discussed. Aside from that, he had a few accidents after they removed the Foley Catheter and his current inability to feel urination or defecation until it is too late. He was bullied by an overnight nurse for pooping on himself twice, and they are withholding fluid and food for no reason. No procedure has been scheduled, giving cause for starving him and making his dehydration worse. I hate all things Bon Secours. They almost killed me in 2017 in Mary Immaculate in Newport News, Virginia, after telling them I had a previous bad experience with nerve blocks. I had a reaction to the on-board Scalene nerve block that sent me into liver failure. This place sucks. It may look like a nice place, but it's a sh*t hole. If you love your family, take them to Chippenham or Johnston-Willis.
