Think floppy pizza when I ordered a regular crust
    My P.

Bona, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to break up with you. After ten years of late nights, weekends cooped up inside, and celebrations... it's time to end our relationship. You made great food although sometimes inconsistent. But the final straw was really being gaslit about what a regular crust or thin crust is for a pizza. And just like a man, after the gas lighting and when confronted, you took no accountability. "Our regular pizza is always this thick." I'm not a size queen, but there are limits to exaggerating your size, sir. I ordered a regular crust pizza and asked for an extra thick crust border.

Delicious pizza! Ordered through Grubhub and my pizza arrived super fast. Ordered the chicken pesto and it was packed with flavor and fresh ingredients.

Bona Pizza is a small pizza joint located in the Waterford Plaza. There is plenty of parking in this shopping center. Simple interior with a several tables to sit at. It could accommodate a group of 8 people if you are allowed to move tables. The service was nice and friendly. 10-12 minutes for my pizza lunch. Meal #1 $7.99: A personal 8" one topping pizza plus Shasta soda. The pizza crust was thin, crisp, but had a nice chew. The owner came out and greeted me and chatted a bit. Super nice guy! Congratulations on serving the community for over 20 years! I will be back to try some of their specialty pizzas. Support your local business.

My union catered to us a few Bonazilla pizzas and at a whopping 24" this thing was massive. I was quite amazed, and their pizza was pretty good. Good chew to the crust and a good amount of toppings. I went ahead and created a spreadsheet of the price per area for their pizzas and their deals. It seems like the best value if you're only looking at amount of pizza and ignore amount of toppings would be the Easy Deal online, being a specialty pizza and a 1 topping of the same size at 0.06 cents per inch square of pizza. The Bogo Free Deal online which is a family specialty pizza and a small is similar in value if you want a smaller amount of pizza but great cost per inch square.

Today, is 01/11. I wanted some more Pizza again tonight. Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. I'm very familiar with this neighborhood. I'm at Bona Pizza this Sunday Night. I went with a large Spinach Garlic Pizza. This is one beautiful looking Pizza Pie. The Crust is Phenomenal. It's so light, but packed with flavor, Baked right in. I like how the Spinach is cooked just right, barely wilted. There's so much contrasting textures. And I like how there is Feta Cheese in it, that's kinda different. This what I need after a long Work day. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.7-4.3 stars, but I give this 4.2/4.3 stars. It was a solid Pizza.

Just good pizza Staff were easy to talk to and helpful. Spicy Chicken Pizza 8.5/10 Isn't spicy by itself but comes with a cool packet of hot sauce. Smelled so good my brother took a slice before I could even take my picture. This was a personal size, but still allowed 3 guys to get a solid tasting. Smells remind me of curry pizza!

Amazing local spot near us! We needed a last minute dinner place on Christmas Day and they came in so clutch with delicious and fresh pizza. We got a side of mozzarella sticks and chicken bites and they were also good. So glad they are open on holidays!

Today was a Combo Pizza and Chicken Calzone day. OMG! The chicken calzone was screaming and oozing with garlic sauce and sooooo DELICIOSO! Muy Bueno!! I never had a calzone before and this will be the beginning of adding to my Italian food choices. Service was great, fast and ready for pick up. Their restaurant was spotless clean inside. I went in to pay for it and they carried the boxes over to my car and put on the passenger side where I asked. Excellent service and great cooking on those Calzones and Pizza's. Stop going to Little Ceasars, Pizza Hut or Roundtable. Try out Bona pizza.

I made a reservation for a Thursday evening, and even though it's right in the heart of downtown, we were lucky and managed to find street parking in front of the restaurant with free EV charging! Right when we stepped in, the interior is decked out in a modern art deco style. Vibrant & fun colors while still maintained a sosphiscated touch. After a few recommendations from our server, we decided to try: Mushroom Arancini (10/10): These are amazing, as soon as they brought it out, we can both instantly smelled the truffle oil. The exterior were crispy & pipping hot, the inside has creamy mushroom. It was certain my favorite of the night! Rigatoni alla Vodka (8/10): A solid pasta! The sauce was great and balanced. There was a good amount of sauce that coated in the pasta. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente! This is a staple dish but I felt like it might lack an interesting flair. Stuffed Branzino (8/10): Another solid dish! The whole were already debone which made it so much easier and fussed free. The skin on top was insanely crispy, the meat were juicy and overall tasted very healthy and fresh! It was a nice paired to the heavy pasta dish! They also gave us 2 cute canolis as a free birthday dessert which were super good! Overall, this is a beautiful spot for a date night and I'm glad I took my partner here! We started with the garlic bread for appetizers. It was well presented but I think it would've been well paired with some sort of dipping sauce because it was a little dry. My boyfriend ordered the thousand layer lasagna and really enjoyed it. I ordered the rigatoni and thought it was just okay. I didn't realize the dish didn't come with protein so it felt like the dish was missing something. The sauce itself was nice but for some reason, some of the pasta was undercooked and some of it was al dente. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate pudding and tiramisu. The presentation was so beautiful. Both my boyfriend and I loved the pudding most -- I would definitely order this again. The tiramisu wasn't bad but it would've been better if it had a stronger coffee taste and if it was a little more moist. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and definitely made our visit feel special. She paid attention to the small details like helping us label our boxes, which I've never had anyone do before. On a completely unrelated note, I was surprised to find the bathrooms are shared between both genders. While there are separate stalls, the sink area is shared, which I wasn't expecting for a nicer restaurant like this. But I would say overall the food was hit or miss but the service and experience overall was amazing:)

To be honest, when I opened the menu, I thought the price was a bit on the high side, and didn't expect to like it in the "worth it" scale. But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. It's not fancy on decorations, more like a neighborly place and the customers look like so too, families and large groups on a random day, you don't need to dress up to eat in this place. The 2 page menu has appetizers, salad, pizza, pasta, and 3 entree dishes. Desserts are printed on a separate sheet, there are a variety of choices but a tad too expensive for my wallet. We ordered the Ravioli a la Teresa with cheese and pesto cream sauce, and their signature Sorelle Short Rib Bolognese. After ordering, we were given free bread for the table. The bread had herbs on top and the dipping sauce is olive oil with fried and then mashed soft garlic. The bread looked nothing special, but once I touched it, I was delighted to find out that they were warm and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. It took a bit of wait for our food to came, I think it meant they were freshly cooked. The portions were big. Once laying down our food, the lady came with a big bowl of cheese and helped us sprinkle on top. It looks amazing with the cheese on top, like snow flakes melting on. I am so impressed with my short rib bolognese. The piece of short rib was sumptuous, a whole piece, resting on top of the pasta that is covered in meat sauce. The meat itself was so soft that it was super easy to tear off and just melts in my mouth. Flavorful and soft and juicy, super yummy! The pasta is cooked el dente, and each bite there's a bit of ground meat coated on the ziti pasta from the bolognese sauce. Very satisfying! I had a bite of the ravioli and these huge dumplings are covered in fresh pesto sauce and very cheesy inside. Although I was a bit confused on the difference between a pesto sauce and a pesto cream. I felt like the sauce was more pesto but we ordered pesto cream. Anyhow, it tasted good but I prefer my short rib bolognese more. Bus boy service is fast and responsive. We had a very enjoyable meal.

The carbonara was amazing--served super hot with great flavor and a solid amount of meat. Easily a 10/10. One tip though: eat it while it's hot, because once it cools down, it's not quite the same. The seafood pasta was also a standout. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and it felt surprisingly light for a pasta dish. You know how pasta can sometimes feel heavy? This didn't have that at all. Another 10/10. The pesto pasta (a special that day) was just okay for me. It leaned a bit too oily, and the pesto flavor didn't really come through. They added ricotta, which kind of overpowered everything else. I did like the portion and the amount of meat, but overall I'd give it a 7/10. It felt like a family-run place--three brothers along with their wives and kids--and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even helped accommodate my mom by seating us closer to the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Just a heads up: it's in downtown Los Gatos, so parking can be a bit tricky since there's no private lot. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place. The portions and quality justify the price, and it stands out as one of the better Italian spots in the Bay Area.

My friend and I walked in on a Wednesday night and there were only a few seats filled / no wait time. You get your pick between a few tables indoors/outdoors, the bar, and a couch area which I felt really completed the community-forward space. We ordered at the bar and got a number to take to the table. You're able to sample a few things before deciding on which glass to commit to, which is always nice to have. All of the wines (tried whites, rosé and oranges) and food were amazing and really added to the overall experience! Still thinking about the tuna tostada and tom yum bucatini -- excited to pay them another visit to try more of their food menu. The service was consistent and was another huge plus on our experience. The workers kept up casual conversation and were extremely personable with us all night, especially since we were one of the last few visitors and the last table to leave. Definitely excited to bring more friends here in the future!
