The egg tarts are perfectly crispy and flaky on the outside and they do not skimp on the egg custard! Finally got to try this place! A pro tip is to order online and come for pick up. It was a little busy when we arrived but we didn't have to wait too long. We ordered the bánh bò (honeycomb cake), guava filled mochi cake, and espresso cookie. I absolutely loved the bánh bò. It was soft, bouncy, and flavorful, as it should be. I would definitely get this again. The guava filled mochi cake was okay. I sort of wish the guava filling was spread around the more. I would not recommend the espresso cookie. Growing up, getting green waffles at the Century Bakery after eating lunch was a core weekend tradition with my parents. I'm glad that I still kind of get to do that, just in the plaza next to it. Original Green Waffle (3.5/5) The green color is from pandan leaves. The waffles were a bit too thin and soggy/floppy in my opinion. Takes 15-20 minute to make 2. Portuguese Pandan Flavor Egg Tarts (3.5/5) The crust was a bit hard. I prefer the flaky ones. The inside custard part was too thick and gelatin like. It was also lacking the pandan flavor. Because it's supposed to be pandan flavor, it also masks the usual eggy flavor of the traditional egg tarts 3. Choux Pastry (4/5) This is similar to cream puffs, but with a unique twist in that they top the outside shell of the puffs with a layer of almond crunch, which I liked as it gives it additional crunch and texture. They have a variety of flavors ranging from Kaya (Pandan), Black Sesame, Ube, Hojicha and Durian. The ube flavor was strong, but slightly artificial tasting. At least it was not overly sweet. Don't sleep on the pandan coconut milk bread! Packed with flavor. Haven't tried the banh bo (honeycomb cake), chiffon cake, and basque cheesecake but they look bombbb. Given the soaring cost of butter and eggs and everything, I find this place has still remained really affordable in the age of $7 croissants. There's usually a bit of a wait but not bad.
