Stopped by after work and was met by the owner Minnie. Super sweet gal and very helpful. She's created the recipes and explained the passion she puts into her pizza. I was unsure of some things and she gave great recommendations. The Tikka Masala pizza was perfect. Tons of green onions, chicken was seasoned just right, great spice, good ratio of onions, great cheese, and a white sauce that tied it all together but was not over powering as they typically are. Crust had the perfect amount of crunch and glaze. Atmosphere looked like a regular pizza joint. Plenty of seating and a couple TVs. The reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 4 is because their pepperoni is really salty. I ordered the pepperoni pizza twice from here and it was salty on both occasions. It was here or little Caesar's for me yesterday and I decided to spurge a bit and get 5 star pizza. First time here and where I live now this wasn't too far off. The service was fast and quick, I got the pizza in less than 20 minutes and brought it home to eat. As you can see from the picture they don't skimp on the toppings. This is for their sandwiches only. I ordered a Turkey sandwich online. Upon pick up they didn't have Turkey so I had to get ham instead. I asked for no tomatoes, no onions and no pickles. The cashier also asked me if I wanted ketchup on my sandwich? I've never heard of ketchup on sandwiches so I asked for it on the side. There was a hot sauce packet from jack in the box when I opened my box (assuming this was the ketchup). When I opened the sandwich it was about 5 small pieces of ham cut to make it look like more full no lettuce and no cheese even though I asked for cheese. While eating I realized the sandwich had mold on it so I had to go return the sandwich and get a refund. The chips that came with it were also expired. So so tasty! Located in a pretty big plaza with many eateries, Five Star Pizza is definitely a spot to check out. I choose the chicken tikka masala pizza and it did not diss appoint! I got the 'small' but it's big enough for 2 to share, says it's 10". The wall had all the dimensions of the pizza sizes in display so that's great for the measurement clueless like myself. My party got sides of jalapeño poppers, garlic bread with cheese and moz sticks. Everything and I mean everything came out piping hot! Great spot and the prices were good. The good: This was my 2nd time trying an Indian pizza place! I ordered thru the Yelp app and appreciated that the restaurant gave us a call to let us know the order was ready. I have never had a restaurant call to let us know before. I got a Gilroy Tuscan pie (topped with Louisiana hot sausage, salami, black olives, garlic, fresh green onion, and tomatoes on our traditional red sauce), a chicken tikka masala pizza (tikka masala sauce, bell peppers, tomatoes, red onions, marinated tikka chicken, green onions and spicy sauce drizzle) and a pesto pizza (basil pesto sauce, fresh garlic, red onion, and tender chicken). I like that you can choose between the following sizes: mini, small, medium, large or giant. The prices were very fair. They have multiple vegetarian options. Each pizza can come in a regular or thin crust. I tried the thin crust for all 3 of my pizzas. Outside of pizza, they sell salads, sandwiches, pasta and appetizers like garlic bread, fries and wings. There's plenty of parking here because they're located in a shopping plaza with a grocery store. Two small pizzas and one mini were more than enough for 3 people. We ended up having one full small pizza-worth of slices leftover. A mini pizza and a small would have been enough for my parents and I to eat. The bad: There was a 5% your order with purchase using your phone but I missed the deal. All three pizzas I got were salty. The Gilroy Tuscan was the saltiest, then the tikka masala, and lastly the pesto. The pizzas all had a bit too much sauce/toppings that I felt wasn't balanced with the thin crust. I would have liked for the crust to have more crunch to it. The olives in the Gilroy Tuscan made it overly salty. I normally love olives on pizzas but this one was too salty. My parents and I were thirsty all night despite drinking a lot of water. The pesto pizza had good flavor but the top was a bit mushy with too much cheese/sauce going on. The tikka masala pizza tasted more like the tandoori chicken (it was colored like tandoori chicken at least) than it did the tikka masala sauce.
