Definitely a local favorite. Consistently packed and bustling, you might end up parking on the street nearby if their small parking lot is already full. For what seems to be an always full morning we basically had no wait and were quickly seated. Considering just how jam packed the place is the service was A+. NY Strip was good sized and cooked well (maybe a little too well) but for a steak and egg breakfast was satisfying. Coffee came hot and consistently refilled. One of the very, very few breakfast diner options in Fort Mohave but a very good one at that.

Forget the hotels across the river in Laughlin just go across the river and enjoy this gem. Wonderful chicken fried steak, so huge might want to get the 1/2 order., add the chili Colorado sauce on top for a special treat. Food portions are more than ample. This place accommodated my grandkids easily who loved the food also. read more

I've been to bonanza a million times, and this time I was really disappointed. I ordered chicken fried steak with eggs, hash browns and toast. It was take out so I brought it home opened it. And my steak was floppy and my hash browns were hard like they weren't cooked. So I called and got something else. When I showed up I gave the lady my food and said maybe show the cook for future and she looks at me just throws it away without even looking at it!! Super bummed with that experience. read more

This is our second time here. The food is okay nothing special about it. First time we had breakfast hubby had a side of bacon for $ 5.99 with biscuits and gravy for another another $ 5.99. I think it's little steep for 4 slices of bacon.... he end up paying more than a full breakfast. I had chicken fried steak . It was okay. Today we both have BLT . The bacon is kinda over cook so it's hard. The fries is saggy . Compared to Dandy's next door . Dandys BLT is the bomb and their Fries is crispy and seasoned. Also you have to pay $ 1.10 for a side of ranch... they should atleast told us we end up paying $ 2.20 for two little ranches. I'm surprised they didn't charged us for the catsup and napkins. Are we gonna be back? Maybe not. We will just go to Dandy's next door . Thank u read more

Classic BHC type cafe. I've had breakfast here a few times. Good comfort food, nothing remarkable. That staff has that touch with the Seniors and that partly brings them back. That and the prices. No reason to pass Bonanza by on your way to Perkins, Denny's, etc. read more

Love this place and all the employees. The owner is a great guy too. I consider this my home town place. One gripe I hope changes is last two times something changed. I loved the chicken fried steat but last two times it was like shoe leather and dried out. I hate to complain but please fix it . I look forward to breakfast here and miss the great chicken fried steak. read more

Well the price has increased and the quality has decreased. Still a busy little place for snow birds but we won't be back. The breakfast special for $7.55 looked like a great deal since the prices were so much higher than before, but we made the mistake of adding cheese... $4.00. Biscuit and gravy were tasteless, hash browns weren't crisp and to top everything off a female employee was throwing up in the bathroom and a male employee kept holding the door open while she was in there... DOESN'T MAKE FOR A PLEASANT EATING ATMOSPHERE Had he kept the door closed and just let the other employees help it wouldn't have been as bad, and then to top everything off.... After he and other employees got her into a truck to leave finally, he handed the plastic bag of her belongings out the door and directly starting seating more customers and never washed his hands. This was literally one of the most disgusting restaurant moments I have ever witnessed. We did mention to him that the atmosphere wasn't appetizing to have a meal in and he said ya sorry about that and took our check and card and had the waitress bring it back. Nobody cared about us being there or not being there...which makes it easy to pick any other place to eat in the future. read more

Was skeptical about this place but we wanted to get a quick bite and get back on the road. We are a family of 5 and I was surprised how fast our food came out. Pancakes were Ginormous and French Toast was delicious. Everything we ordered tasted great and service was awesome. Would definitely go back to this place. read more

We stopped for a quick breakfast, the food was not that good and I could not drink the decaf coffee. I don't know if it was the water, coffee or if the cup was not rinsed well. My sister had no issues with the regular coffee. The food I got was a good portion, but it was greasy and it did not taste that good. I wish this place was in my city. While traveling I yelped breakfast spots and this place came up, not wanting to drive all around the desert I decided to give it a whirl. Food was yum! I got the omelette with chili and cheese on top and inside onions came on the side with hash browns and toast. They give the option of toast or biscuits and gravy. My husband had the split pea soup and the veggie omelette. We were both happy with the food and if ever in the area would for sure go again. We ate here for the first time this past Sunday. The place was busy. Wait staff was fabulous! Very courteous and accommodating. My husband and I split the 3 egg bacon and cheese omelette with hash browns and biscuits and gravy. The food was good. Our omelette and potatoes were hot but the biscuits/ gravy was barely warm and covered in the lukewarm gravy. Ample food for the two of us even though we split. Great prices. My mother-in-law, who lives in the area, recommended the Bonanza Café while my family visited the Ani Resort & Casino. It's a small but homey diner in Fort Mojave that was full of locals and visitors. Just as important as the company you keep, the staff was incredibly friendly. The food pulled no punches. Bonanza Café was exactly what you would expect from a small café, home style meals at very reasonable prices. Looking at the bulletin board gave me a sense that this restaurant was very involved in the community and some of its sports leagues. I had my staple of corned beef and eggs over easy with hash browns. Instead of toast, I opted for the biscuits and gravy. The food is what my mom would have made - if that's not a compliment, I don't know what is. Of course, the coffee is what you would expect.... a good brew that fits well with the food. Everyone devoured their food with no complaints and we all left very happy and content customers. This place is one of the reasons why it's good to venture outside of the expectations that are starting to become the norm because of the pervasiveness of larger chains. It will give a good feel for the town and it's people - the food was not only good and comforting, but it also felt good to eat there. Would we go there again? Absolutely! read more

Found on Yelp and so good, we went both mornings we were visiting the area. Must have the Susie Special with a side of the Chili Colorado sauce! OMG! Delicious.... The chicken fried steak was good as well but seriously I wanted to lick the bowl of the Chili Colorado sauce. The staff was great and the owner was super nice. This place is what a small town diner should be. Food is solid. Price is fair. Service is fantastic. There are daily specials. We had the steak and eggs. It comes with hash brown, 2 eggs, and either biscuit & gravy or toast. Word of caution: living in LA for so long, I'm used to restaurants overcooking my medium rare steaks to medium, so I usually do rare. At this place, rare is rare (fleshy red). Medium rare is medium rare (pink). Nevertheless service is fantastic. Must stop if you're staying at the Avi, the nearby casino. read more

My Uncle lives near here so we went here for breakfast when we were in town to visit. It was a typical greasy spoon diner. I eat pretty strictly healthy and there weren't many options on the meno that would work for me. My Uncle was thrilled with his meal (I think he's a regular there) but I could barely eat mine. And the coffee was undrinkable. It tasted like dishwater and was lukewarm. I will avoid coming back. read more

I've been coming to bonanza since I was a born and am so happy it has lasted this long! Their food is good and I'm pretty sure it is made with magic with how quickly it gets to you. I love their Susie special but normally get their French toast or for lunch their grilled cheese and fries. Great ranch! Grew up coming here about once a month or more but I moved. Now that I'm back temporarily I came back with my grandparents and I was told it wasn't as good as it was back then. We travel full time in an RV and like to try local restaurants. The reviews were pretty good so we decided to give this place a try. Went in for breakfast. My wife had the French toast special and she said it was good. I had the hamburger patty and eggs. I'm not sure that the patty was really hamburger. It was probably the worst piece of meat I've ever tried to eat. It was thin, hard to cut with my fork and frankly nasty tasting. I was not able to eat more than one bite. I'll not have that agai & would definitely not recommend it. read more

And guess what I ordered? Shrimp tacos! Plus I tried their ground beef tacos and their chicken tacos. All were amazing, hence why I came back. Brought a new guest with me so she could try out this hidden gem on the Colorado river. She loved it as well. Very popular place. We had to wait 15min to be seated. They worked hard with a great smile and quick service. You felt you were taken care of. Had pancakes and omelet. The omelet had a good combination of veggies and meats. Reminded me of home. Really nice people. Quick service with a smile. read more

Always a great experience at Bonanza Cafe. They have the best coffee in the valley. I was able to have the Eggs Benedict on my recent visit and they were amazing. Only available on Wednesday so I made sure to order on this visit. read more
