A little place with a huge menu! I had the Win-a-mucka burger and my son had the chicken fried steak sandwich. Both sandwiches were excellent, as well as the fries. After all these years it's still my go to drive in and ice cream related place in Montana. I just had the freshest, tastiest, Hottest and yummiest cheeseburger with fried mushrooms on the side. Today's ice cream flavor Huckleberry, even ice cream sandwiches! Yummy!! Thanks to the wonderful staff who make it a pleasure to go there. Two days in a row! Literally the BEST breaded chicken sandwiches, the BEST ice cream, and the BEST nachos. I always try to find soft serve ice cream when I travel and I am almost always unsuccessful; but bonanza freeze did not disappoint. Although the food is not so called "gourmet," it is so so SO delicious. I wish I had a Bonanza freeze in my area! This place has the most scrumptious food in the entire world. To be fair, we were naive. But bamboozled nonetheless. Just don't order the pizza burger. A sausage patty stuffed with mozzarella cheese was not what was expected in lieu of a beef hamburger patty. Nor was it a pleasant surprise. But the fries were good. read more

Took forever , 15 minutes to get a milkshake and cheeseburger, I watched two guys behind me order a milkshake aftet I placed my order, then order another milkshake and get before I got my order. I've been here 4 times now and twice I found hair in my fries and cheeseburger. The food is decent but the service is not. read more

I have been going hereore than 50 years. My dad used to treat me here when I was a kid. When I'm in town it is one of my must do's! They have more flavors than anyone else in town, even black licorice ice cream. I love it , it's timeless. Fair price, and so much better than the common chain fast food.
