They have a great happy hour from 3-8 mon-fri. The drinks are strong and delicious. The food? Amazing !!! & it's pretty too. Lol. The manager Juanderful was very hospitable. So were the waitresses, Anna Marie & Alisa. They took wonderful care of my husband and I. We usually get the steak with the sexy sauce. So juicy and tender and flavorful. Food is decent and the price is average. Staff is very polite however little English is spoken. The area itself is a ghetto and the place us probably safer to take out or call for delivery. The breaded steak is their best dish and the rice and beans is a little spicy but still tastes great. The place is also a bar but not sure what kind of clients it attracts. Went to this place to have brunch wit my family. The waitress was less than pleasant. Laughed when I asked if the had coffee and told me they don't serve hot stuff. When she brought the drinks(cans of Soda) I told her she brought the wrong ones, as I spoke to her she didn't bother looking at me. I asked her not to open the canned soda that she did bring correct because my daughter likes to open it herself and she proceeded to open it and told me to relax. After that my daughter and I were joking around and she interrupted me to ask me if I had a problem, as if she felt like I was laughing about her. I actually really enjoy this place. I've been here a few times and the food has been good. I go for the bar as well and the bartenders are freindly while the drinks are reasonably priced. Some nights they have live music and if you are looking for a good time without it being over crowded this is the place to be. The night life here is more of a lounge feel and I like that a lot. Found this place on Instagram and decided to visit. So far my husband and I have visited this restaurant approx 5 times but we are not returning. Why? The food takes FOREVER! It doesn't matter if you go in the afternoon (when it's always empty) or if you go after 6 pm (when it's always crowded) the food always takes forever! Their Sushi is delicious, I have to admit it. The waitresses treat customers like friends "mi amor, mi amor, mi amor" Please! That's not professional. My answer to them it's always "ma'am". Once, one of the supervisors approached to us and asked us how we liked the place so far. We told him about how unprofessional is to call customers "my love" but that day we forgot to tell him about how ridiculous is to wait 1 hour for food. Last time we visited this restaurant we ordered 3 Sushis as main courses. We didn't even order any appetizers. The sushis took 1 hour. When I asked the waitress how many chefs were in the kitchen (I was sure it was just 1) she replied: just ONE. Ok so this place has only 1 chef to make all the orders to eat in and take out. Another thing I've been noticing is that, when we ask for the check the waitress brings it, and it always has the gratuity included which is great. Once we provide the method of payment (We always pay w/ credit card), they swipe it and return to the table with the small credit card receipt (merchant copy and customer copy) that just show the total and a blank space for more tips. At this moment, the original receipt has disappeared. They toss it. Let's just keep in mind that the gratuity is included here (15%). If you forget that you will be spending more and more without even noticing. Beware! And no, we are not coming back because the wait is ridiculous, they must hire more people to work in the kitchen and they always toss the original receipt. read more

So I went to have a drink and some food after a long day of work. Everything was going well except that I had to ask for my check about four times! The lady bartender even looked at me once while I was asking for the bill. She just ignored me. It took two gentlemen to tell her that i was calling her over. She came to me with a smile but honestly the damage was already done. I got my checked and left no tip which normally I do because I believe in tipping and I use to work in the service industry so I know how tips can really help but I just couldn't tip bad service and not being attentive to your customer read more

This place does not even deserve one star. The service is horrible. I went for lunch with my mom and we ordered our food and were told to go have a seat in the dining area. The waitress who took our order seemed to be bothered by us since we were interrupting her conversation. We waited about 30 minutes for our food and come to find out only one of our orders were placed( stewed pork and Yuca, the yuca was as hard as a rock). After asking the waitress who brought our food about the other order she said she will check with the one who took the order and get back to us. The rude waitress who took our order came to our table to tell us that this is all that we ordered and began to argue. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. This place has the potential to be 3 or 4 stars if they cared a little more, because the flavor of the food was pretty good. However their lack of attention to detail or quality makes it a 2. I ordered mofongo with shrimp, my husband grilled salmon and a side of rice and beans. The flavor of the beans were okay however there were burnt pieces of beans. The white rice had hard crispy pieces that seemed scraped from the bottom of the pot. The mofongo itself tasted good, but the red gravy ruined it. It was vey thick & acidic, as if it had too much tomato paste and had a burnt flavor. My husband's salmon tasted bland & unseasoned. Just needs some tweaking, however at the price we paid, not worth it. Won't be going back. This was a take out order on a Saturday evening by the way. read more
