Honestly probably one of the best wings I've ever had was at Bon chon! Went on a Tuesday around 6:30pm, was seated immediately. The place was fairly packed surprisingly on a weekday. Ordered the small wings soy garlic style, chicken house fried rice, seafood scallion pancake, and tuna and salmon ceviche. All were absolutely delicious! I could have done without the scallion pancake, truthfully the Chinese places make it better! But either way it was all right. The rest of the orders made up for it. Price was worth the amazing food. This place is one of the best place to eat korean food. This location have more choices on the menu than the one in Harvard sq, and they also have tv to entertain the customers. The inside is small but it's comfy. The food is comparable to the other location, pretty good. read more

Last time we had delivery for half and half 20pic. of chicken wings and a side of kimchi. They are so yummy. We were suppose to have some beers with these wings. I definitely will go back this place. However the kimchi was not so fresh, otherwise it was perfect. read more

My mouth waters when ever I think about Bon Chon chicken. They have 2 flavors: soy garlic and hot spicy. Both are delicious, but if you're a pansy with heat, go for the soy garlic or you will be paying the price!! haha. :) In general the food is good. And a pitcher of Sapporo with your meal never hurts either. read more

Fantastic place to eat Korean Fried Chicken. Delicious with good ambiance. Had a nice Angry Orchard beer to go with the combo chicken. I also had their Okonomiyaki and seafood pancake and both are nicely sized servings. Went here within a couple days apart from visits. You should definitely try it. Wait is usually around 20 minutes for busy periods. Oh, and 2 wings equal 1 drumstick in price but I personally enjoy the drumsticks more. read more

Fantastic food. Went with some co workers. Sushi was top notch to say the least. Their chicken is bomb. We had the spicy chicken which was a different kind of spicy, almost an annoying spicy. Wouldn't recommend for the faint of heart. I haven't had a chance to try their Sake selection but I wouldn't doubt it would be nothing but superb. Let me begin by saying that I have never really had Korean food, much less fried Korean chicken. I was told this place was great, but did not know what to expect. I called ahead to pick up my order, and it was ready when I arrived. I got 10 pieces of the strips and 10 of the wings (one with the hot sauce and one with the garlic soy). We did a half and half of the soy garlic and spicy wings and they were delicious. We are spicy wimps so next time we're only getting soy garlics! Wings are slightly more expensive than say Wings Over but are definitely worth it. We also got a bulgogi bibimbop which was good but nothing special. More wings for us next time! read more

The best friend chicken I've ever had. Hands down. Lots of variety on the menu from fried chicken to sushi to bimbimbap. The only downside is there are so many flatscreen TV's and very loud pretty annoying music playing. I'm all into a youthful vibe but it honestly takes away from the pleasure of eating. the manager or the owner- plz listen up! i visited bon chon at allston last night(aug 25th monday btw 9:10-9:20 pm) with my friends. we had time with your great food and service. HOWEVER, the waitress who is asian and 30-40s included tip on our bill without any notice. Guess what? WE Were 5 including myself. our waitress told us the tip was included when i asked for change. But, i'm still wondering why youguys included tip on the bill even though our group was not more than 6ppl. tell me about it. why!!!? I ate at Bonchon Jersey City a few weeks ago and was duly impressed and I've been craving the soy garlic wings ever since. Today I went out of my way to go to the Allston location to fulfill said craving and just, meh. The chicken was good, don't get me wrong, but it definitely wasn't great. Way less soy garlic flavor than the other location and just less exciting. That being said, the service was attentive and it was a perfectly serviceable meal for under $10 (lunch special). First time eating at Bon Chon and it was great! We ordered some of their tapas, lots of sushi, nabeyaki udon, bulgogi, and of course the famous chicken. Everything was delicious! Definitely will be returning. I noticed that the restaurant was reviewed as not kid friendly but we brought out 2 1/2 yr old and he loved it. He enjoyed 3 pcs of the chicken and 2 helpings of rice with bulgogi, and udon noodles. Though, our child sits in a regular chair, I did notice the restaurant had high chairs. I would recommend going early b/c as the other reviewers said, the place fills up. So, with children, the kids may not have the patience for long wait. read more

The food here is great. Haven't been disappointed yet. It definitely lends to a different variety of food choices in the Allston/Brighton area-which is huge. One of the perks of living in Brighton. Only had takeout from here a few times, but the restaurant looks cozy. The wings are very good. Both flavors, the soy garlic and the spicy sauce were very good and the chicken was still nice and crispy when it got home. They prices on the other hand are very expensive. read more

Love my Bon Chon chicken! Can never get enough!!! I love to eat spicy food! A little advice for those who don't really eat spicy food: 1.) First eat the soy garlic one then eat the Spicy one. If you eat the Spicy one first your lips will tinkle. The service there is great! I've been there at least 5 times with my boyfriend. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and are glad to make recommendations. There was one time we went there really late, I think sometime after 9 PM and it was packed! We got seats at the bar, it was fun to see the chefs make sushi, our waitress was really nice, she even gave us samples of Sojo (some type of alcohol and juice). I love Allston Bon Chon! The wings (spicy and regular) are phenomenal. I also recommend the salmon/avocado salad and udon noodles. The kim chi pancake was also really good, but we ordered it without seafood. I have gone here for lunch and ordered in, and would definitely recommend going there for maximum freshness, although I was very happy with the delivery food too.
