    5 wings
    Tianna F.

I finally gave this place a try and unfortunately I wasn't that impressed. The chicken was fried good and the sauces were flavorful but to me It was pretty basic. Plus the chicken wings were huge. What I didn't like the most was the packaging. They just threw the wings in a paper bag. There was no proper container. You would think that they would have that for sauced wings. The building is small itself, so only about 3 - 4 people are able to enter at a time And parking is very limited.

Food good, but they continue to raise the prices! I can't go back here anymore, was good getting in the other day but for some food you have to sit in your car or go home and by the then it's not hot, it's too expensive.

We were in the neighborhood for a concert and decided to try this place out for some wings. The place is a small restaurant but has that hidden gem feel to it. We ordered bulgogli and a chicken combo with garlic soy. Everything tasted pretty good . The service was good. I would try this place again .

Let me start out by saying this place is awesome!!! I was in town for a few days and in my few days I manage to check this spot 2 days in a row.....reason being...THE LEMON PEPPER WINGS !!! Omg the wings are fantastically awesome!!! The crunch, the size of rhe wings and the favor, truly outstanding. Oh I did get 2 flavors lemon pepper and hot honey wings. Don't get me wrong both were good but the lemon pepper is definitely the stand out!! As we headed home from DC everyone keep talking about how good these wings were ! The service is good to when we came in the next day we were greeted with a cherry hello from the worker behind the counter who must have recognition us from the day before....now that was cool. Try KoChix you will not be disappointed.

Utterly surprised I don't already have a review for one of my fav spots in DC! Kochix is a locally-owned Korean fried chicken spot. This should become one of your regular spots for ordering out. Their drumsticks and wings are ginormous and delicious. My go-to orders are the 10 wings, half hot honey spicy and half honey lemon pepper. They're always nice and crisp and easily heated up for a future meal in my air fryer. I don't love their fries, but their onion rings are tasty. Even better are their corn nuggets! They're corn fritters with whole corn inside, a corn lovers dream lol This is a crowd pleaser as I've served them to friends and coworkers. Alas, there isn't really space to eat here aside from a short counter against a wall. It's located near the corner of Rhode Island and Florida, so not the most scenic corner of the city, but very much worth the trip or delivery order!

We placed a large group order online and when we went to pick up the order, it was all out of sorts. The staff there was very friendly, but they were a bit overwhelmed while I was there. They had lost one order and others were messed up. There is street parking available, that is relatively easy to find. This place is small and is strictly carryout. They serve Korean style wings, drumsticks, and sandwiches. I ordered 10 wings, with a side of fries. I got 5 hot honey spicy wings and 5 Honey Old-bay. My wings were decent, but I like my wings coated in their respective sauce. These wings were sporadically covered in sauce. Don't get me wrong, my wings were good and everyone like their food. I have just had much better wings at similar places. I will warn you that there is a bit of a wait here, as it is with most Korean Fired Chicken joints. All-in all this is a decent spot to get your KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) fix. Hopefully, they will coat their wings in sauce a bit better.

Hands down the best, crunchiest Korean fried chicken you'll ever have. I told my coworker about it and she calls it "crack chicken." lol. The crunch is unmatched and the flavors are so good. The honey lemon pepper and honey old bay are my go to options. The staff is super friendly. The first time I ate here I ordered a 10pc to try it out. Those wings didn't last at all. I finished em all before I even got to the Virginia state line. You will not be disappointed.

I really don't understand the hype. I walked in your typical hole in the wall and was immediately greeted. Instagram and the world HYPED these wings. I ordered 10 fried high ended up being $20. Shocked the heck outta me. The "ADMIN" fee really bothered me. I can only imagine if I had a larger order. The wings were much larger than one would expect, came out piping hot but overall AVERAGE. Lacked seasoning. Simple carry out wings. I opted out of the sauce and I could do without honey and soy sauce on chicken. Decent spot but to expensive for carry out wings to me.

I got the 10 wings which came with two wing flavors. I opted for the soy garlic and hot honey spicy. The soy garlic was really good, I didn't care for the hot honey spicy, it was not spicy at all. The wings were quite large and I was stuffed after. The skin on the wings is super crispy just how I like mine. The service was very friendly and relatively quick. The inside is small with no seating and more of a to go restaurant.

These might really be the best wings in DC. Tried this place because I saw a review on Instagram and they did not disappoint! The wings were so crispy, yet juicy at the same time. The sauces were both really good and they complimented the wings well. The service was also perfect. The man at the front let us try two different flavors because we were not sure what we wanted to try. It is a small hole in the wall, so not much to say about the ambiance. The food is a 10/10 though.

The host was super friendly and seated us right away. Our server, Wendy, was patient, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. For drinks, we ordered the Sparkling Rosé, Blck Pnk, and a beer. The Sparkling Rosé was phenomenal. The Blck Pnk was on the bitter side, which may be perfect if that's your preference, and I appreciated how thoughtfully crafted it was. The beer was ice cold and crisp. To start, we ordered the mandu and two orders of the chikin. For our mains, we had the pork rib & kimchi fried rice and the dolsot bibimbap. Everything was delicious. My only critique is that some of the dishes could have benefited from just a touch more salt to really make the flavors pop. The restaurant itself is small, quaint, and feels very homey. I loved the family-style setup and how easy it was to share dishes and move things around the table so everyone could try a little of everything. Overall, I would definitely recommend Anju to others and would happily return with a group of friends. It was a great dining experience with excellent food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

However, when we walked in and saw only a couple of tables occupied, I had a feeling it might not live up to its appearance. Unfortunately, that feeling turned out to be justified once we looked at the menu and tasted the food. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 3/5 Food - 1/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is modern, clean, and well maintained. The dining room is attractive and comfortable, and it feels much more upscale than your average Korean restaurant. Service - Service was adequate. Nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. The staff took our order, brought out the food, and checked on us occasionally. What We Ordered - -Galbi - At over $40, this was by far the most disappointing dish of the meal. I've had galbi at countless Korean restaurants, many of which charge under $30 while delivering significantly better flavor and quality. The seasoning was noticeably different from what I'm accustomed to, and not in a good way. For the price, it felt extremely underwhelming. -Pa Jeon - Just okay. It was a standard Korean pancake that didn't stand out in any particular way. -Tofu Stew - We ordered it mild, but it was surprisingly spicy and excessively salty. The saltiness overwhelmed most of the other flavors in the dish. -Korean Fried Chicken - Unfortunately, this suffered from the same issue. The chicken itself was decent, but it was far too salty, making it difficult to enjoy. Final Thoughts - The biggest issue for me was the value. Nearly every dish felt overpriced for the quality being served, and the excessive saltiness across multiple items made the meal even more disappointing. While the restaurant looks great and has a modern atmosphere, the food simply did not justify the prices. Considering how many excellent Korean restaurants I've been to over the years, this was one of the more disappointing experiences. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

I visited on a Friday around 6:30 PM and sat at the bar to catch the end of happy hour (Mon-Sun 5-7 PM). The bar was empty at the time, but a few other people showed up later. The dining room had a handful of tables occupied. In short, easy to get a seat. Drinks were good. I like the Somaek ($6) which is a small beer and a shot of soju. Beer ($7) was beer. We got some beef and pork mandu (dumplings) that were pretty good. 6 pieces for $10 on HH. We got two entrees, the Ddukbokgi ($28) and Yukgaejang ($29), which came with four banchan. Ddukbokgi is chewy rice cakes, gochujang, onion, and bulgogi. We thought it was only ok -- we've had better, including at Mandu in the past. Yukgaejang was a new dish for me. The menu described it as a "spicy beef stew, brisket, noodles, shiitake, bean sprouts, and egg." I expected the brisket to be sliced and recognizably brisket, but it was pulled -- it looked and tasted more like pulled pork. The dish also didn't have any noodles in it. I didn't like it. The banchan was seaweed, bean sprouts, kimchi, and cucumbers. It was okay. Service at the bar was fine.

For $45 per person, the all-you-can-eat experience feels like a really solid deal considering how many protein options and side dishes you get. They start you off with a variety of banchan (side dishes), including a salad with this super tasty dressing that had the perfect little spicy kick. For the BBQ, we kicked things off with the spicy bulgogi and butter garlic shrimp, while the others tried the pork belly (I don't eat pork). Later we ordered the steak, spicy brisket, and grilled squid, which were all delicious. The spicy brisket especially was a standout for me. The guys also ordered two rounds of fried dumplings that looked amazing, but since they contain pork, I had to sit those out. I'd love to see Chadol add a veggie dumpling option to the menu! As for the sides, the kimchi and cold glass noodles were both hits at our table, and of course we all added white rice. The "mashed potatoes" though? Definitely more like potato salad and unfortunately very bland. On the other hand, the cheese corn costs extra but is 1000% worth adding. For drinks, the guys enjoyed the Woody Old Fashioned while I had a mezcal margarita-style cocktail that was smoky and refreshing. We also ordered one of the chicken options but never received it and eventually just gave up on it. One of the coolest parts of the experience is the ordering system. Most meats are ordered directly from a machine at your table, and the food comes out quickly on this conveyor belt-style setup which was honestly so fun. Drinks and side dishes are ordered through the servers. The atmosphere was lively and energetic without feeling overwhelming. The restaurant is actually much larger inside than I expected, with a modern setup that works well for smaller groups. That said, I didn't really notice tables for larger parties, so I'm not sure how they accommodate groups bigger than 6 people. Service started off a little rough because our server wasn't very attentive, but after I called it out, he definitely stepped it up and things improved. Overall, Chadol was a really good experience and absolutely worth the price. The 1.5-hour seating limit makes sense too, both to keep things moving and give others a chance to enjoy the experience. I'd definitely go back!
