5 piece lemon-pepper wings so fresh that you can taste the juices from the lemon.

Best wings to hit the DMV and not to mention it is super close to my house. Tired of Chinese Carry out wings! I ordered lemon-pepper wings and can you say fresh. Please check this spot out!!!! I want to also add that I had the chance to meet the owner what a sweet, delightful woman. Very up close and personal and professional. This small spot is decked out with bold print and cool colors.

Tvs on the wall where you wait in line and two more on the opposite side.

Very bright and clean space. Four TVs and sports channels on each. Cute set up. The sweet potato fries are indeed good. I went with the advice of some of the reviews, and if lemon pepper wings are supposed to taste like they do here, then I must agree that this is your spot. I tried them and I can officially say that I am not a fan of lemon pepper wings. But this is why there are other wing flavors right? The barbecue flavor was on point and the sweet and tangy was just ok...more sweetness than tang. The wings are really fresh tasting and that's awesome; I'll just have to try other flavor combinations in the future to say if I would recommend or not.

Bougie Bites is not afraid to take off the dinner napkin and get our hands dirty for some great wings! Atomic Wings has great food, great prices, and amazing service! Bougie Bites was able to attend the Grand Opening of Atomic Wings on Saturday and we have zero complaints here! As expected there were long lines but if you were patient you were in for an amazing treat! We hope they continue to keep up the great service and amazing flavors. Atomic wings "organic and antibiotic free" quality wings puts them on top of their competitors. Flavors we tried: -BBQ Wings -Atomic Wings -Thai Chili -Garlic Parm -Lemon Garlic Our favorites were definitely the Garlic Parm and Lemon Garlic, but you can NOT go wrong with the traditional classics of BBQ and Atomic (if you love spicy we would suggest you crank it up a notch for abusive or nuclear flavors). Our not so fav Thai Chili...but we can not wait to come back and get our hands on the Jerk BBQ Flavor they sold out FAST!!!!! Other items we loved were the waffle fries (MOUTH WATERING) and their drink selection in the coolers, we love that there were some healthy options in there :). She was a ray of sunshine and gave us help in deciding on menu items. We both ordered salads. I ordered the crab and shrimp Louis salad. And, my friend ordered a chicken salad. Our salads were huge, fresh, and delicious. I really liked the fresh veggies and poached shrimp. I also liked the surprise sprinkle of Old Bay on my seafood. I wasn't a fan of the crabmeat. The dressing was delicious too. My friend liked her chicken salad. She did say her chicken was a little dry. But, she loved all of the fresh veggies and ended up taking the leftovers home. I also ordered the Oreo cheesecake which was delicious. I mean come on now, you combine Oreo's and cheesecake, that is a winning combination and the whipped cream was amazing. The restaurant itself was bright, colorful, and full of sea themed decor. The booth was comfortable and you get 3 hours of free parking in the garage. Again, thanks Fatima for your excellent service. We will definitely be back.

So, let's start with food. Once we were seated and greeted by Sara, we sat around and talked for a bit before deciding what we wanted. The drink menu is wild so I opted for a beer. After all, it is a brewery! I opted for an IPA, my friend also ordered a beer (Dark & Stormy, a dark beer), and the other ordered a drink. Although my beer was 11%, it wasn't bitter and tasted juicy! It was good. I got the fish & chips w/coleslaw, one friend ordered onion rings and the other ordered salmon. Those onion rings were banging! and the coleslaw was pretty good too. Who doesn't love some fish & chips. Sometimes you just want something crispy! Overall, the food was decent. But let's talk about the general store-----------WOW! It's stocked with EVERYTHING!! Mugs, puzzles, seasonings, socks, leggo's, books, anything you can imagine. It's wild! Then......they also have liquor and beer. I'm talking craft beer, good wine, etc. Oh, and let's throw in an ice cream shop. Yes, an ice cream shop. They have everything! Check it out for yourself!

The decor was lovely and the ambiance represented an upscale experience in my opinion. They even offered free champagne and it was good! My friend and I tried: the Sticky Ribs Suya, Jerk-Braised Short Ribs with Curry Pea Risotto, Oxtail Mac & Cheese, and the Suya-Spiced Lamb Chops. All of the food was absolutely delicious, my only gripe would be that the lamb chops didn't come with enough green beans. The "Up All Night" (their version of an espresso martini) was also pretty good. Next time, I'd opt to get a traditional espresso martini though. Lastly, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and timely. We even left her an extra tip. If I had to make a suggestion, the big ape could be moved elsewhere. It really does take up too much space.

Service was decent, location is OK, interior decor was cool & photo worthy, food and cocktails are great, entrees come in big portions. Tried the suya potato hash side- great flavor, now if they were crispy they would've been perfect. For entree got the fish & grits (comes with fried catfish atop a bed of grits with crawfish etouffee sauce finish). It's nice that they have a shellfish free etouffee sauce option to accommodate shellfish allergies. Tried the By Your Side (apricot henny sidecar) cocktail and Osaka 53 which were great- cocktails were pricey though, aka DC priced at $22 a cocktail and they don't display pricing on the cocktail menu. They don't have a dessert menu for brunch but offered us plantain bread pudding which was a decent size and came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, wasn't bad. Suggested improvements: lower cocktail prices, offer nicer cocktail menus (it was a folded piece of paper), let guests know gratuity is already included in the check total, and include something complimentary for special occasions.

And to say it was underwhelming would be an understatement. I mean this experience might have been worse than the season finale of game of thrones. My wife ordered the oxtails and green jollof rice. First off, the rice tasted like wet grass. The oxtail was a sad excuse for oxtail. For context my wife is Caribbean so I've had my share of delicious oxtail, their oxtail tasted like they simply didn't even try. Now let's get to my food. I ordered the simplest thing on the menu the Steak and Frites. I'll give it to them the frites were pretty decent, but that's where my compliments end. I ordered my steak medium like a decent human being. The first steak came out and tasted like what I imagine an old used tire taste like, it was well done by the way. The next steak that came out 20 minutes later although closer to medium was surprisingly worse. It's was extremely rubbery with zero flavor. All together I would not recommend. The fact they sell this sad excuse for food is baffling. Sincerely, A concerned customer
