Please order these divine wings. I'm so happy happy happy that Bonchon has arrived in Tampa. It tastes just as good, or perhaps even better, than the NJ and NY locations. If you're not ordering wings, you're doing it wrong. There's better bulgogi elsewhere. You want to order the wings. The wings are double fried and crack like glass in your mouth. It's amazing. The sauces are superb. Ask to taste them first. For the spice intolerant, go for the garlic. The spicy sauce is amazing and will melt your face. In a good way. Embrace it. Make sure to get the pickled radish. It will cool your palate and cleanse it. Also get the kimchi. It's actually spicy. Yum. Service was fast and friendly. Some improvements still need to be made. The rice wasn't cooked as well as it should, and the soda machine seemed a bit off syrup wise, but it was forgivable.

The food was great nice and hot. Service was amazing. Jocelyn is the best. She knows her stuff and has a great warm friendly attitude. Easy going.

Been wanting to come here since they opened. Their opening was a bit delayed which set us back a bit on the visit as well. They are opened now and easy to find right off Fletcher Ave. They share a parking lot with a few other businesses but there is plenty of parking available. You enter and walk up to the counter to place your order. They'll bring out to your table once it's done. Plenty of seats available inside for dining. Soda fountain is self serve. The place is also clean! I ordered the wings and hubs got the bulgogi bowl. My wings were actually pretty good! They had a nice crisp and the taste was really good. Didn't need a dipping sauce. Hubs enjoyed his bowl also.

Bonchon is obviously a franchise but this is the first one I've seen in Tampa so I had to try it out. I got the chicken wings with K BBQ & Spicy for the flavors along with some boneless chicken in their soy garlic & yungnyeon sauces along with some coleslaw and fries. I'd say the food was pretty decent, the wings were crispy, the boneless ones were not but that's to be expected. The coleslaw was mid tier, I'd say not enough flavor really and the fries were okay. Overall the customer service was nice. The lady who took our order and served us was very welcoming and suggesting a good amount of items for us to try so we appreciated her energy. The overall ambiance was okay, it's kind of on the messier side with some messy tables with crumbs and such over the floor but overall still manageable to be honest.

I was disappointed by my Bi Bim Bop, but I'll still give it three stars since this place is known for it's wings. This is more of a fast food type place. I heard from a friend that other Bonchons are more upscale, but that's not the case here. Still even though the chairs look metal, they have soft padding, which is nice. I got the Bi Bim Bop instead of fried chicken and maybe that's where I went wrong. If you look at my picture it is pretty sad looking and still pretty expensive. I definitely wouldn't get it again. My friends got fried chicken and they were huge, I think it is because of the breading. Six is definitely enough for one person and they have a lot of sauce choices. Parking was a breeze. They play music videos inside which is a fun touch. Overall I won't be itching to come back, but I will if someone really wants to.

This Korean fried chicken chain we have encountered during our visit to Chicago 10 years ago. Finally make it to Tampa. Before their opening, the Bay Area already has numerous Korean fried chicken restaurants. Their restaurant is at the medium of this group. We got six wing divided into two flavors. I got the garlic soy and spicy Korean flavor. The wing is big but the coating also thick. We also got the Japchae. I think the potion is tiny. Sesame sauce is good but the beef is limited. Since the wing fried at order, you need to be patient to wait for the food.

Tight parking space - YES ... they do have parking in the back ( somewhere) Came in on a Wednesday afternoon- super excited! This is by far sadly the worse Bonchon I've been too. I've been to New York - Jacksonville & Orlando. This location doesn't cut it ... Clean atmosphere - restrooms clean - absolutely friendly service and prompt.. but this review is highly upon food taste / quality & overall. As you can see through my pictures alone . I ordered 6 wings only to try out their crunch consistency. Nope !!!! Not there .. soy garlic ? Ahhh absolutely salty ( sad ) Hey - if you're in the area ... check them out but I hope you had better luck than me. Side note guys 5 stars on customer service...

Today, for the fun of it, I declared a chicken war to see who is better. Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken vs. Dave's Hot Chicken. Winner Bonchon. In a tiny plaza with a tricky entrance, it was clean and bright inside. They have a nice selection of starters and a variety of traditional korean dishes. The chicken choices are boneless, wings, drumsticks and tenders. The staff said more locations are coming soon. One big reason that I have had my eye on this place is that in addition to wings and tenders they also have fried chicken drumsticks. The young lady was friendly and helpful. She described the sauces and I made my choice. I ordered the largest size, 10 pieces for just over $30. I opted for the slaw and was given a small order of the pickled radishes to try. The slaw was good but I liked the fresh crispy radishes even more. The twice cooked and hand brushed drumsticks were just what I hoped for...expectations met. The drumsticks were massive with a gooey yet crunchy exterior that packed a great flavor punch. The interior cooked through and moist. I tried 2 flavors of sauce both wonderful, one with just a bit of heat. Soy Garlic and the Yangnyeom. Sides include Kimchi, Pickled Radish, Cole Slaw and Steamed Rice. I can definitely recommend the chicken. Next time I will eat some of the korean dishes I saw. Come get ya some!

Pretty good for a chain. Really good crisp on the chicken. Great introduction to Korean street food. Service was friendly and extremely fast the day I was there. Decor is "cool" and fitting for this college community,

Their food just tasted OK. 2 things worth mentioned: Attentive services and big size of the wings. Japchae was the stir-fried glass noodle- quite oily, more vegetable than beef, average flavored. The coating of the fried wings was Ok, maybe they were "to go" and lost the crunchiness. The sauce tasted Ok. The radish side dish was good. Long business hours, parking was easy which are good.

I've been stalking this place since I heard we were going to have one in Tampa. I called three times, as I believe they were supposed to open on the 11th, but they opened yesterday at 3. But they opened at 4pm due to the inspection being late. Nevertheless, the owner was nice and let us wait inside before they opened. The workers are so friendly, they have great customer service, and the food is fresh and hot like I like it. I just wish that they were a sit down restaurant like a few locations in New York or in Orlando. Maybe in the future they will build another location, and have additional mixed drinks as well?

Dear Fellow Chicken Enthusiasts, Prepare yourself for a *spiritual* experience. No, seriously. I walked into Bonchon a mere mortal and left a fried chicken disciple. You think you've had chicken? You haven't had *this* chicken. Bonchon's chicken is not just chicken--it's the **Mount Everest of poultry**. Why is it bigger, you ask? I don't know. Do they use chickens that secretly lift weights in the back? Possibly. The skin? Oh, the skin. It's like biting into the crispiest, most flavorful potato chip that's ever existed, except it's on a perfectly cooked piece of chicken. It's basically a Thanksgiving feast for the soul. After indulging, I was satisfied, content, and yes--ready for a glorious, food-induced nap. Forget Black Friday deals, I just wanted to nap and dream about that chicken. And the sides? *On point.* It's like Bonchon was reading my mind and decided to make every side dish a culinary sidekick to their main hero: The Chicken. And let me give a massive shoutout to the front-of-house staff. The ladies up there were working harder than my jeans after that meal. Y'all were amazing, keeping things smooth while I was busy turning into a chicken-addicted maniac. If you haven't tried this, stop what you're doing. No really, stop. Go get Bonchon. **Life = changed.**

I'm still salivating from the Korean donuts. Bonchon was amazing, the spicy Korean fried strips had the ultimate crunch. The fried rice was very tasty. The service was great. I ordered on my mobile device and picked up the food at the proposed time. Love the decorations and decor of Bonchon - Tampa. Need more Korean donuts

You'd never guess busy Fowler Avenue and all those shiny new businesses are just steps away. This is free-spirited, relaxing and zen. You can study here, chill-out and reset. It's colorful and very sunny, but it would also be the snuggliest place to sit while it's raining and just sip away and read. There are so many drink and food options here. I had the pistachio matcha with strawberry cold foam and a spinach/feta pastry. Both were good choices. You can order at the register or from a QR code and they'll call you to come get it. It's so casual and laid back. This adorable hangout would melt away any work frazzles I could possible walk in with. I love the low ceilings and the vintage hardwood floors and the slouchy couch and the eastern light streaming in the front window of this older, repurposed home. There's original artwork everywhere, including the ceiling (some of it's for sale). There's also a rack of clothing items, jewelry, scrunchies and other items for sale. I love the eclectic vibe-and the guitar propped up by the front window. Phoebe could definitely sing "Smelly Cat" here. Heck, they're so welcoming here, Ross could probably set up his keyboard and share "the sound." They DO have live music here-and a side patio. There's some parking up front and extra parking in back. And the service is friendly. I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll be back to try the apple fritter croissant and soak up more relaxation. Happy days from Felicitous!

Finally a manager-looking person opened a second register, and it went quicker from there. We snagged a booth, put our order number on the table, and headed to the salad bar. The salad bar had a nice variety of items, and was well stocked. Because I ordered the "Manager's Special", I got a side salad plate to go with my half a Reuben sandwich, but that was plenty of salad. The half of a sandwich arrived quickly, and was really good. Things I did not love about Jason's: too long to order, the place was incredibly LOUD, with screaming children and crying babies as far as the ear could hear, the potato chips that came with my sandwich were all broken into tiny pieces, the ice cream in the machine was a melty blob, and the muffins that looked like chocolate were actually gingerbread, and terrible, so don't be fooled. You walk in and order at the counter. Then go make your drinks and grab your salad bar if you ordered one. Then sit down at your choice of tables with the number plate they give you. They bring your food out and clean it up for you too. Remember to leave a $1 or $2 for that extra service! And my favorite part of all. The free waffle cone with your choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream! The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

I went there today to pick up an order I placed through Uber Eats. Usually, when you pick up an Uber Eats order yourself, they don't require a verification code. However, when I went to the front and gave my name to the cashier, she asked if I had proof of the order. I told her no, as I had ordered on my computer and didn't have a code. She insisted she needed verification. My phone wasn't working at the moment, which I don't blame her for, but the way she handled the situation was incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes before I actually got my food. The cashier stood there talking on her phone, claiming she needed to ask her manager, but she never actually did. I didn't hear her explain the situation or ask anyone for help. Instead, she just stayed on her phone and eventually slid the food over to me. There was no apology for the wait, no "here you go," and no "have a nice day." She just slid it over with a smile while still chatting on her phone. It felt like she was purposely inconveniencing me. As soon as I mentioned that I had my ID to prove who I was, it was suddenly no issue, and she handed it over without ever checking with a manager. Very disappointing experience. While the food itself still tastes good, it is simply no longer worth the money or the poor treatment. I never expected over the top, bubbly customer service, the staff that used to work here would just get the job done without the fake enthusiasm, and that was perfectly fine. But there is a massive difference between a worker just trying to get through their shift and one who actively goes out of their way to keep you waiting while talking on the phone. Between the disrespectful service and the shrinking portions, this place just isn't what it used to be.
