Dined here with a large party and the service was great. We had a nice sized table and were able to sit comfortably. The food came out in a decent amount of time. I brought a group of 40 here for dinner and they were super attentive, all while have a couple other groups there at the same time. My staff and I ended up also getting a table in the corner and they treated us so well! They ended up comping our little staff dinner. They even gifted use tickets to the Ferris wheel for my staff and I. It was an over great night with delicious food and my group was very happy. This place is changed owners and their menu and the entire dining experience! Al Green, one of the new managers walks the floor paying attention to every detail making sure everyone's dining experience is as good as it can be! Here's what I ate: for appetizers I had meatballs and calamari, for dinner I had spaghetti with lobster and seafood, and for dessert I had red velvet cake. All courses were clearly an undisputed 5-stars! When I took my first bite of the meatball, I knew there was something special going on here. And I was right. It was excellent. The calamari that followed could not of been more tender. But putting the tenderness aside I just cannot help how well it was spliced in flavored. No need for any dipping sauces with these. In fact I recommend against it! Next to main course was served! A wonderful dish of spaghetti topped with lobster and seafood. Incredible! The seafood could not of been fresher, but would really amaze me, being Italian myself, was the flavoring of the sauce. It's hard for me to put a finger on it, but it was excellent in its own way! So, for our ninth wedding anniversary, we decided to try somewhere we had never been before. As we drove through the streets of the Harbor, we came across Bond 45. It was easy to see from the street, and easy to access as well. It was a great experience. I had the lobster ans crab ravioli, which was filling but not stuffing. Very well cooked. My wife had the surf and turf. It was a pretty good sized lobster, and the steak was very good (I sampled it). My cocktail of choice was the "ginger smash and grab" which was composed of bourbon, ginger syrup and lime. Very smooth! I highly recommend this restaurant. Hosted a post wedding shower/lunch at Bond 45 and from the beginning when I made the reservation the staff were more than accommodating. It was a party of 23 and we wanted access to the full menu and not be limited to a pre fixe menu. Bond 45 said NO PROBLEM!! They truly went above and beyond in making sure our group was satisfied. We were allowed a 2 hour frame from 4:30-6:30 which was ample time to eat and enjoy each other before continuing the festivities. Drinks were made impeccably and we had not one complaint of any of the 23 meals. Fresh and creatively prepared entrees. Flavors were on point! As far as drinks,I recommend the Prosecco Rose. You won't be disappointed if you are a Prosecco or Champagne fan. Without asking they placed up in a private room which gave us that intimacy feeling & there was a door we could close if and when those IMPECCABLE drinks started to kick in. And THANK YOU for that! Staff was Top Notch. Pardon I can't recall names but everyone was personable, professional and accommodated our every request. I bragged on the service for weeks after. Every staff member I passed, smiled and spoke with such welcome. Would definitely like to come back and sample more of their extensive menu. Bonus points. Right outside is the Ferris wheel. Hostess was very friendly and so was the bartender Sierra.. my girlfriend got a Hennessy cocktail that she recommended. Went to Bond 45 today and realized it opened at 3pm. As we were like 3mins early, we waited and then a gentleman walked out and told us we could walk in because it was 3pm. As we walked in, we overheard the hostess talking to another coworker "yeah they coming in. They literally just walked in." And she sounded very annoyed and walked right passed us without saying a word to place the open sign outside. We decided to spend our money elsewhere because why would I want to dine at that establishment and you're mad that I'm walking in when you're actually opened. She was so rude and whoever she was talking to that worked there was right along with us. Bond 45 needs to do some serious customer service and cultural sensitivity training. Your hostess should be the one to make us want to dine, not run out and spend our money elsewhere. read more

Our first time having dinner at Bond 45 was a good experience. The wait was long (covid19 sucks) but they have a very good system for notifications so you can still enjoy the National Harbor while waiting. The service was kind of slow but it was expected considering how popular the spot it. Our waiter took good care of us. The Food... The food was amazing. I had the Shrimp Fettuccine, I love fresh pasta and alfredo sauce. They put a lot of love into that sauce. My spouse had the Shrimp Scampi pasta... It was AMAZING!!!! As much as I loved my own meal, I really wanted to eat all that Shrimp Scampi. The sauce was the best sauce I've ever tasted. The description of the dish on the menu really had us thinking it would be a weird dish. But as we walked through the restaurant to our table, we saw it left and right on other tables. First time there and we were impressed!! We went on a Monday so it wasn't that busy. The food was amazing!!!! For appetizers, we ordered fried calamari and shrimp and garlic bread. So delicious. All our dishes tasted amazing. Great flavor and taste. I question whether the ribeye was actually 14 oz, it didn't look 14 oz which you can see in the picture. My birthday dinner was ruined by Bond 45. It was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had and at the end of it a bill for 325.00. They sat my party of 4 in a tight row of people, I was afraid to breathe. The restaurant was not even 30 percent full and here we all are cramped in a row of strangers. No privacy, no intimacy.....nothing special about it. The hostess was so detached and aloof. I was just happy she wasn't our server. Even though, I stated that it was my birthday while making the reservation ....she never mentioned it. I was shocked how bright it was, almost alarmingly so. It was like walking onto a broadway stage with no lines and no audience. I felt awkward, almost immediately I felt chose the wrong restaurant. There is no way to set the mood with light that bright. What's up with that?? While my waiter was nice, my party had to mention it to him 3-4 times that it was my birthday......in anticipation of something "special"........nothing special ever happened. He never told us the soup or specials of the night. Or explained the restaurant week promotion. No wine suggestions or pairing with our steak. It was only my second rodeo. He seemed extremely inexperienced, which was a major annoyance to me. The calamari was well cooked, everyone enjoyed them. We also ordered the meatballs. They were just "ok", and you only get three......overpriced. Prosecco rosé was very good. It took 55 mins for us to get our food. I have never waited this long for a meal. My steak was suppose to be medium well......it was burnt to oblivion. My opinion rings were hard as the the table. The potatoes were good, but I didn't come to a "steakhouse" for potatoes. My husband's steak was nothing but fat and under seasoned. He was literally frowning as he ate his 65 dollar steak. I was surprised how the food was plated, they didn't care at all. It was not appealing. My father looked bored as he ate his TomaHawk steak, but didn't complain. My mother who ordered the crab cakes said she enjoyed, but let be clear she is NOT a foodie. Salads make her happy. Enough said. After this underwhelming dinner, I inquired about the coconut cake. Guess what.......they no longer serve it. Just the chocolate mousse.....nasty......the tiramisu....nasty. Somehow, he convinces me to get the strawberry cheesecake. I put on a good face, but it was one of the worst slices of cheesecake I have ever tasted. Just, nasty.....dense.....fake strawberry sauce....ice cold and custardy. I just didn't want to complain because my mother surprised me with this dinner, but almost every thing about it was horrible. I don't know what happened to this place but it's like a dumpster fire decided it wanted to pretend to be a steakhouse. You get what I'm saying. Where is the sweet, Korean lady who made sure ever one was taken care of? Did you hire new chefs, because the food is proudly wearing a badge of mediocrity. Where did the homemade cotton candy go? I waited all year to have some for my birthday. And, what's up with the cold cookies???? They used to be fresh out the oven warm. Did I just pay 5 dollars for a coke that was mostly ice? And, 11 bucks for a cheesecake that couldn't compete with the one at a Safeway. Disappointing. Bottom line, this place is as romantic as a bowling alley. This is not an upscale steakhouse, the hostess had on leggings and most of the guests were embarrassingly casual. The food is too expensive and very underwhelming. Don't go here for a special occasion. It will be ruined. They will cramp you in tiny tables with your winter coats and hand bags. You will be elbow to elbow with strangers. We ate here while at National Harbor for a conference. This place is huge and has many rooms for large parties throughout the restaurant. We were seated in a large high-walled booth with swinging bar doors that gave us some nice privacy for the others. We started with the calamari and meatballs. Both were excellent, most notably the meatballs. I chose the Italian Cobb salad for my entree and was pleased. It was a nice size - my coworkers' pasta dishes were huge, almost too big - so I didn't overeat. I saved it for the giant slice of chocolate cake for dessert. That was outstanding as well. read more

Went for dinner there on Friday night around 8. As expected there was a wait for a table so we sat at the bar to have a drink while we waited. The bartender was very unfriendly and almost ignored us after she found out we were not eating at the bar. The drinks were good, but didn't like the service. We were seated earlier than what they predicted. Our server Chris was wonderful! So friendly and helpful! We ordered oysters which were very good and fresh. We ordered the branzino fish stuffed with crab. Unfortunately there were bones in the fish and the crab inside was not good. Overall very underwhelmed by bar service and the food. Chris and the oysters were the only good thing there. For the amount of money we spent there, it wasn't worth it. We won't be returning. read more

The only thing I enjoyed about my meal was my drink: watermelon mule. Maybe only come here for the bar. It was so hot in the back of the restaurant-- still air. No cellular service either in the back and the WIFI didn't work. Our pear salad w shrimp was completely drenched with dressing. I never send food back but it was not edible. At $29 a salad, they need to do better. I was glad they happily gave us another one, this time dressing on the side. Steam mussels in white wine sauce are my fave but half them tasted bad... like the rotten taste of seafood that went bad. Broth was salty :( The garlic bread that came on the side was good. Smoked salmon crostini... super HEAVY on the cream cheese. I had to wipe some off bc it was excessive. Lobster linguine, lobster was overcooked. We just finished dinner at this restaurant. My daughter ordered Steak Frites, medium rare. Unfortunately, it was burnt and overcooked . It was not good, but she does not want to make a fuss about it. I am staying at the National Harbor for a conference, and it is my treat to her, since I do not see her much after she left for college. I have to say we are not happy for the food, especially the price we have to pay for a burnt steak that is really no good. The service was slow too. I visited Bond 45 with my colleague while in town for a conference. I ordered the steak frites and it was PHENOMENAL. The sauce the steak was in was DELICIOUS. My colleague ordered the scallops and said she enjoyed it. Our waiter was attentive and was able to accommodate all of our requests. The peripheral wait staff was also super kind and helpful. We were quickly seated in an area that was private with a swinging door. I really liked that touch of decor. Our server was amazing. He provided great recommendations on entrees and dessert. We had a variety of dishes, including garlic bread, meatball appetizer, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, lobster Mac and cheese, steak frites, and short rib. We enjoyed it all!
