Looking for a lunch spot today and we stopped here. Across from a large condo complex which seems to be a source of their customer base. Although they do have a lot of baked goods and coffee offerings, the "Ale" part consists of a beer tap where four of the taps are covered. I ordered a Tuna Salad sandwich on Brioche bread. I liked my lunch here a lot. The restaurant itself wasn't the easiest to find. It's not right on the street per its address but tucked behind in a second strip next to a sushi restaurant. Inside, it was pretty busy at lunchtime with most of the perimeter tables taken. It's large inside. There's a big, long communal table in the middle of the room. And a small counter near the cashier -- next to a few beverage taps (that were covered). We assumed that was the "ale" part of the restaurant name. You order and pay at the cashier. We had a problem understanding the gal a bit, luckily there was a guy nearby who helped. I'm not sure if it was a language problem or what. She didn't know how to pronounce brioche bread -- so it was mumbled. They give you a number stanchion to put on your table after you e order to deliver your food to you. My husband got a tuna sandwich on brioche. It also had arugula and pickles on it. The bread was a bit dry and crumbly. I donated some of my wasabi cream cheese to him to help. He said the tuna was good, but he'd have liked more mayo. I got one of their featured bagel dishes. It was a sourdough tiger bagel (I'd never heard of it, but got it as listed anyway) with cured salmon (lox), wasabi cream cheese, and watercress. I took off the watercress and got the wasabi cream cheese on the side. I thought the cream cheese might be too spicy, but it was green and fairly mild. There was supposed to be some "orange reduction" on the bagel, but there wasn't any. They were generous with the lox. And there were thin slices of cucumber on it as well -- though not listed. This was good with the salmon. Their pastries and breads looked very good, too. We wound up buying a couple bagels to take home. And, yes, I'd come here again. read more

My friend and I stopped by Bond Street to catch up and do some work. When you walk in, there's a huge open-pastry case and overhead menu boards. The menu is very extensive with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. It's a QSR concept where you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I ordered a danish, latte and avocado toast. For coffee, they have a self-serve station, which I appreciated. The coffee was okay. It's a Nespresso machine, so it's nothing special. The avocado toast was fine. The greens needed more dressing and overall, the dish was just lacking flavor. I was able to customize how my eggs were cooked, which was nice. The star was the pastry. If was delicious and fresh. It was a little expensive for a QSR, but I did order three things. The actual dining room is massive. It draws a line between coffee shop and restaurant, so while it was a good place to work, they don't display the WiFi anywhere. Parking can also be an issue. It's a limited parking lot with a two hour max. Given the menu is so extensive, I'll definitely be back to try some other things! read more

The menu here is amazing! We have to come back to try something before we leave. Very inventive menu with plenty to choose from. Coffee and baked goods, sandwiches, burgers, salads and bowls. It looks like a full bar too but maybe only beer and wine. Great selection of beers. Hidden next to Joann Fabrics. There is a self service counter with plenty of seating inside and out. They get busy but the line moves fast. We stopped in for a brunch plate before hitting the beach. The burger and supreme Korean BBQ sandwich stuffed us and sustained us all day. We picked a table first, but when we went to the counter to place our order, she actually sat down at our table to eat and then asked us to move to another seat. I've never experienced anything like that before. Later, while I was eating, I made a phone call. Because I couldn't hear clearly, I briefly put the call on speakerphone. Such a cute cafe! I didn't know this place existed until a few friends recommended it today. The mushroom egg omelette was delicious. It came with a super fresh light salad and a delicious fresh wheat baguette. The iced vanilla latte was AMAZING! I know I'm going to need it again. It was so smooth and the taste was so good! Customer service was great! Very friendly. The only minor problem was that they advertised "specials" and had these menus displayed yet they did not honor the prices on the menus. They said those were old prices. The omelet special was $11.50 but they charged $13 and said what I saw right there at the resister was "old prices" so this was the only negative. I came early one morning when there wasn't anyone else there. The staff was so friendly and warm. The barista was quick to offer food or drinks. The place has a really cool ambiance with artwork and art deco style furniture. They also have a lot of out door seating. As usual I ordered a double shot iced latte because I like my coffee strong. Sadly the latte even with two shots was on the weaker side. They also use paper staws to which is disappointing because for a $7 iced drink to taste the soggy paper and they don't last it's just aweful. We stopped here by chance planning to get a coffee and bites (cake slice or pastry) And to our surprise we found a chic location, a complete bakery with a beautiful display. We go out for lunch and when we do, I always try to find a place that we've never been to before so today it was the Bond Street ale and coffee and I must say the quiche that we had was delicious. The people that work in the restaurant café were excellent. She couldn't have been nicer. She explained everything. The coffee was good. It was a nice large slice of quiche with mushrooms that we had to share because it was too much to eat. Unfortunately, we were too full to try some of those delicious looking pastries. Great place for an early morning coffee and breakfast! Really liked the ambiance of this coffee shop/bakery near the beach. I passed by early morning Sunday and saw a bunch of cyclists sitting outside enjoying their breakfast, so I decided to check it out. To my surprise, this place is huge! Filled with tons of tables inside and outside, with a large staff and great variety of options - including a full bar for a perfect brunch with friends! I ordered a chai latte with my avocado toast, and liked it so much I decided to get a cappuccino to go at the end. The entire experience was great! Fabulous friendly service, and they even brought my food to the table which I thought was great. The food was impressively good! The pumpkin bread used for my avocado toast was delicious, the avocado was neatly sliced and generously placed, the poached egg was slightly overdone, but I didn't mind it, I'm sure this would bother many, but considering I had an incredibly delicious salad surrounding it, I don't think I would've wanted the egg yolk to run into it. I need a whole new paragraph to talk about this salad. It was super fresh, flavorful, and really made a plain avocado smash toast dish really stand out for me. The salad had fresh strawberries, shaved fennel, micro greens (or so I think), Gorgonzola, and some sort of pumpkin seeds or pistachios? crunch over it (I hate I didn't take note of what it was). It was truly delicious and super filling! I promise to return and try it again Why not 5 great question! The organization and deployment of the staff certainly left more to be desired. As a former manager of a coffee shop, I speak from experience here saying that they could be more efficient. I had no issues when I arrived and ordered my food, they were fast, friendly, and overall organized. However, when I went to order my cappuccino, they had a small line of about 3 in front of me, which quickly became 5+ due to a lack of adequate deployment and distribution of roles and responsibilities IMHO. Nice place off the main drag ( South Federal highway) behind Walgreens in Boynton Brach. You won't stumble upon it but definitely seek it out for a delicious meal- breakfast, lunch or dinner. We tried the Chicken Satay bowl with peanut sauce on the side and it was a generous portion !
