David and Peter Dunn has been outstanding. They have treated us like family. Even though Daisy Mae was nervous and not to eager to see her doctors, they had a way of calming her down. Eventually, Dr. Peter became her one and only doctor. He was unbelievable in his treatment. Not only was Dr. Peter and his staff kind to Daisy Mae, they were so good to me, especially when I was in a traumatic state over Daisy's condition. We saw him last time and I'm not sure if he simply had a bad day or what but he was dismissive, seemed angry and was just plain rude. Upon leaving that office, I called for my dogs records to be sent elsewhere. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars to be spoken to or treated like that . Peter Dunn may have followed in his dad's footsteps but sadly a he doesn't measure up to him professionally.

A brief story about a beagle named Buster,…read more He was adopted in New York when he was "four" (read: 10) years old. He was then to be left with his grandparents and uncle who lived nearby due to his owner's recent and unique career obligations. Never had any of these three individuals cared for a dog in their lives. So we looked for nearby vets and found this little pink mess of a building on the Saugus highway. Over the next 5 years, while we had our medical ups and downs, we were always given the best of care by each and every individual at this facility. Every vet and technician we dealt with showed genuine concern, even when we made the same follies most new animal (and human) parents fall into: overreactions, anxieties, and downright fear. Fast forward to the winter of 2020 (amid a pandemic, maybe you heard about it on the news) and Buster came down with serious breathing issues. Despite it being near closing, we were told to bring Buster immediately and our doctor and numerous techs stayed late trying to render a diagnosis. Unfortunately, this was beyond their technological capabilities and we were directed to the Woburn Animal Hospital (another fine facility). Thanks to their lack of ego and abundance of concern we were able to transfer him quickly and determine Buster had a growth in his throat, and was expected to pass that summer. We as a family made peace with this and hoped for the best and prepared for the worst. Thanks to the medical expertise, the care, the concern, and the proper medication prescription of the medical experts at this hospital, Buster lived another 3 healthy and happy years, being recently put down out of mercy (his breathing inevitably got worse, nothing could be done) at the ripe old age of 18. Buster would not have made it that long, as the happy and healthy pup he was without the people working this facility. If that story did nothing for you, allow me to address some of you negative reviewers. An animal hospital in Lynn recently closed. Guess where those tens of thousands of animals need to go? The 3 facilities in a ~10 mile radius. These people are working as hard as they can, trying to satisfy that unprecedented demand, I can assure you. If you take your pet to this facility, they will live longer, they will live better, and they will be happier. Thank you for reading.

I've mentioned specifically that she wasn't eating well, she was lethargic, she had diarrhea, and that she seems shakes and seems weak. Each time I've visited I've been told Alaska is fine and am prescribed something and sent on our way. Our last visit was on Wednesday 5/17/23 - during this visit I expressed extreme concern for Alaskas health. She hadn't been eating for several days and because Alaska ate treats from the vet Dr. Olga's response was "don't make something out of nothing" and then suggested blood work and vaccines and sent us on our way ($300 later). Fast forward three days later, Saturday 5/20/23 and Alaska was still not eating and her drinking started to slow. I brought her to a NEW vet and they drew blood and IMMEDIATELY found abnormalities and suggested further tests. Alaska had to stay the night because she wasn't stable - $3,800 later - we found that Alaska has Addisons Disease and almost died. Dr. Olga either ignored the signs or didn't know enough to treat my dog properly... either way, it's not okay. This doctor and this clinic have lost all trust.

When I become a first-time dog owner soon, naturally this will be my dog's vet! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The practice is a holistic one and Dr. Crowley is also a homeopath. If she's not available, I see Dr. Ricketts, who's great as well. I've been coming here for about 10 years. When Ms. Leo-Kitty got slapped with the hopeless "chronic renal failure" diagnosis, I refused to give up, and sought out a practice that considered the ENTIRE animal, just as I do with myself, and expect from my personal health care practitioners. I received a huge awakening with regard to nutrition, on-the-spot moving from dry to wet food, a HUGE contributor to this somewhat preventable illness!!!!! WHO KNEW? My previous vet had apprised me of nothing, sigh. She was nice enough but that's hardly sufficient when it comes to health CARE, which should be overwhelmingly preventative. Seeing Dr. Crowley yesterday, I have renewed vigor for doing my part in their dental care, another enormous area where prevention is key. I got some poultry-flavored toothpaste into one of them this morning, a first step. Yum. I just read in the most recent newsletter - she is an ardent EDUCATOR- that she considers herself a dental geek. I LOVE this, and can't wait until I earn being able to call myself a lay version of same. Yesterday we also discussed my adding a dog to my household. I didn't expect the conversation to be so extensive, but I should have; she's always so thorough and TAKES THE TIME. Now I know where I will adopt my likely pitbull, because the rescue she recommended, like her, considers all facets of the animal and "vets" them thoroughly. Ha ha. Our furbabies depend on us. You can depend on this entire practice for their holistic, loving, enthusiastic care, and for empowerment in upping your own game in pet parenthood.

Even after telling her we were hoping to have someone quickly examine our cat she said they were "closing in an hour" and suggested an appointment for the next day. She also added that if we really thought it was urgent we should go to the Emergency Vet in Woburn. The clinic appeared empty- no activity and no voices of people talking in exam rooms. No one in the waiting area. There were no dogs or cats around or could be heard in the rooms and the parking lot was empty! It seemed obvious the girl wanted to get out of there and felt the need to turn us away. Don't bother going here if it's really urgent.
