I happened to have made a mistake and acted absolutely out of my character it was unacceptable.. still everyone is very kind to me after I've admitted my huge mistake they treat me wit respect and dignity still love my dog (he's chill lol) amazing people work there very professional and sincerely loving and caring towards animals and their owners. These people are absolute sick freaks and monsters. I left my dog there for 48 HOURS and came back to a dog on death's door step. He was shivering, limping, and drooling uncontrollably. Then they had the gall to shoo me out the door and refuse to answer my questions and tell me my dog was like that when I left him there. He absolutely was not and I shudder to think what would have happened had I left him there longer. At no point did ANYONE call me to tell me something had happened or follow up with me. Everytime I tried to call back, I kept getting the runaround of "the manager" (Santiago who other reviews have rightfully pointed out is a real POS who refuses to take any accountability with this torture chamber he's running) wasn't there or no one was working there over the weekend when my dog got injured. When I took my dog to the vet, they found multiple lacerations and puncture wounds on my dog's paws. To this day, we still don't know what happened and multiple vets couldn't figure it out. So either there's some sick employee torturing the dogs or they are just neglectful to the point of evil. My dog also didn't poop for four days after and was drooling for 10 days straight. See pictures and a report from the vet attached. There is clearly a weapon/bite mark of some sort on his left paw and two of his other paws also had lacerations. I'm sure I'll get some canned response from Santiago or the corporate PR person saying I'm disgruntled or mistaken but I'm not and you know I'm not. If you have such an issue with it, call me back and man up: tell me what happened to my dog. You know what happened to my dog and you're wasting everyone's time pretending otherwise. There is no way a dog gets this badly injured under your care and no one knows about it; you just thought it would go away. It cost me over $3k and a month to get him back to normal and the only reason I'm not suing is because I have excellent pet insurance. You people deserve to be in jail and shut down. read more

I used to take my older pup to bone sweet bone on Ventura, he loved it there (he now is an old grump and prefers to be left home). But, during the pandemic I got another dog (a giant breed), one that the Ventura office actually rejected from daycare and grooming at the time. My baby girl needs some extra TLC and reassurance when being separated from me and/or her brother. I had to take her elsewhere since her initial rejection at BSB SC and, unfortunately, the other daycare I took her to got worse and worse throughout our time there. Flash forward to BSB opening on Vineland and the staff here is WAY more equipped at managing giant and large breeds. I told them about our previous experience and had to do another eval a baby girl did just fine. They let me walk her back behind the desk and had her walk in with her brother. Now I'm pretty sure I could leave her at the front door and she'd go in herself. She shows up and greets the person at the desk on hind legs, ready and excited to play. I come to pick her up and she's happy, tired and ready for bed. Grateful for the new opportunity and experience with a different BSB location. read more

We LOVE Bone Sweet Bone! We've been boarding our pups here since they opened this location (previously had been boarding our babies at their Studio City location) and we absolutely love it. My fur babies are my everything and knowing they have such great care puts me at ease while away. They also go above and beyond with baths and grooming (like how cute are the little Pom Poms hi hello). I hadn't been out of town for a while and called to schedule their stay and no joke the woman immediately remembers my dogs and said she had been thinking about them recently. I gave this business 2 stars instead of 1 because it has a couple of redeeming qualities. 1st the people who work there are nice and polite when speaking with you. I visited once before just for information and they were patient and helpful. Today's visit I didn't have a grooming appointment and they still took my dog in because I wanted to try them out to see if I'd switch from my regular groomer. But after todays visit, the answer is a resounding NO. I was hopeful though because they also do daycare. Didn't try that part out today, just the grooming service. It cost me $74 with tip and they kept him for 4 hours. I was told 3 hours. No big deal though because that gave me time to run errands. when dropping him off, they asked me to keep his leash and collar. I asked if they could keep his collar and put it back on him 1. Because it was filthy and needed a rinse with his bath and 2. He get nervous without his collar. They obliged. When I picked my dog up the process was simple, I paid and they gave me my dog. His collar has a waterproof AirTag holder that lays flat against the collar. When I got him back the AirTag was MISSING. Those things aren't cheap and it's connected to my Apple ID. So NOT COOL! They put a cheesy red bandana on him though. Which I immediately took off before walking him out the door. Then, right before getting into the car, my dog shook himself and a bunch of his fur came off and flew in the air. At first I didn't think anything of it. Maybe he was shedding a bit from the grooming?! This never happens with the other groomer, but again I thought maybe it's the 94 degree weather today. We get into the car and immediately the strong human smelling cologne they put on him was so pungent it began to irritate my allergies and I sneezed. We were heading over to another dog shop so I could introduce him to the folks there and buy him some nice treats. Once at the new dog shop (which also does grooming) I explained my irritation and the woman helping me offered to help me fix the strong cologne smell. She began to brush my dog and also rake off his undercoat. I couldn't believe the amount of dog hair that came off of my dog. It was the size of a small dog. I was so irritated that I spent $74 for a wash, a dousing of cologne, and drying. I could have done that at home!!! Not to mention, my $25 AirTag that has never gone missing in over a year got "lost" today. I won't be going there for grooming again. It's not worth the money. AGAIN, if you're reading this, I DID NOT do daycare today so I do not know how that service is. This review is ONLY about the shoddy grooming. read more

BEWARE!!! my dog died after staying here for 10 days. She went in healthy and fully vaccinated, and came out with a kennel cough that she died from even with immediate veterinary care. The owner Santiago has not had the nerve to return my calls or address this with me. The worst you could do is take your beloved pet here. Additionally, when they were located on Ventura blvd, I had seen an employee freebasing drugs in her car in the neighborhood nearby, so not great quality all around. BEWARE!!!! read more

When I went to pick up our two dogs, I noticed one of them was missing their harness. I pointed this out to one of the staff members and their response was hostile and aggressive. Instead of asking "how can we help?", the staff member rudely said "well what do you want me to do about it." I was so taken back. We have been taking our dogs here for years but we will now be looking for a new boarding place for our dogs. I am deeply disappointed with the customer service. After moving to a new location, it's glaringly obvious this company has gone downhill. We did receive a response a few days later stating they found the harness but never apologized for the staff's behavior. Disappointing. read more
