I have been here enough times with my wife and others that I can easily give this place 5 stars. Been here in Buford and the one in Snellville about 8-10 times and have never had a bad experience. Service is always good. The food has always been great. Of course the bang bang shrimp and calamari are great appetizers and I recommend the steak and crab cakes and the salmon and asparagus salad among other things. One thing to consider is how crowded the place is. We usually either call ahead or go early for dinner to avoid the wait. I read many complaints about that and yes it is a reality at this place but it can be avoided. read more

Great food, great service... The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and kind. This was our first time there and the server spent a good amount of time walking us threw the menu. First of all, reservations were 25 minutes late. The manager came out and apologized and offered complimentary appetizers. "They will be waiting for you by the time you are seated." After 35 minutes they finally arrived. The server ignored my request for separate checks. Drink order took extra time to get. Order in. Let's see how long it takes to get food. Stay tuned....it is now 8:40 and food finally arrives, but wait, there's no place to place it because appetizer dishes haven't been removed. So far, service has been sub-par. The entrees were artfully presented. My wife had the grilled shrimp and scallops, I had the spicy ahi tuna bowl. She complained the scallops were overlooked and rubbery. Oddly the server didn't ask me how I wanted my tuna cooked. I prefer rare, but was served medium. I expected more skilled and attentive service, but alas, it didn't exist this visit. read more

It's a franchise, so it's not "upscale" - I only go here when I have gift cards, so I can't complain too much. But the filet mignon wasn't that good and dry, and I even go it "medium" cooked. I went there with a group from work and overall I thought it was ok. For a large party we were seated promptly and the servers were very attentive. We started with the bang-bang shrimp and calamari and both were decent. The fish dishes on the menu were mostly salmon and tuna (there were several dishes with these species), both of which I am not a huge fan. Tilapia is a bottom feeder that doesn't have taste and I wasn't in the mood for sea bass. I ended up getting the chicken and it was dried out and flavorless. I should know better than to order chicken at a seafood restaurant, but the choices did not appeal to me. I do miss my New England seafood. Went here for the first time with a gift card. Glad we had it because I wouldn't have paid with my own money for this. The place is way over-priced in my opinion. Food was nothing to write home about. Portion sizes are pretty small. The lighting in the restaurant was very dark. Restrooms were clean and our waiter was really nice and on top of refills/appetizers. For the prices, I would have thought the portion sizes and flavor would be bigger but not so much. Have been to Bonefish Before and have noticed a steady decline.. Pros. Has a great interior and great Ambiance. Bar is always Great, Appetizers are always great and worth the price..Wait Staff always pleasant and attentive.. Cons... 70 minute wait. Ordered the Longfin Talapia Imperial. portion very small and there were 2 shrimp and no scallops. The inside was raw and squishy. My Son Ordered the Sirloin and Crabcake. Portions were very small and he left hungry. His Steak was tough and had a piece of grizzle running through the middle. His crabcake was smaller than a Phillips Crabcake you would get at the Grocery Store. Shrimp Pasta and portion was OK but the shrimp were very small and not to many. This is one of my favorite casual dining restaurants. We were greeted and seated immediately as soon as we walked in. Our server was new, but extremely friendly and made some good cocktails suggestions. Our appetizer arrived quickly and our server made sure that we always had fresh bread and our water glasses filled. Our meals came out and everything was perfect. Excellent service and we are looking forward to coming back soon. I suggest getting cocktails with your dinner. The Watermelon and Pineapple Martinis are wonderful!!! read more

Not a terrible restaurant, I like much of their food and I LOVE their Bang Bang shrimp (worth going there alone). I have had a few bad experiences with food being served at room temperature and waited incredibly long times without notice. Arrived for an early dinner and waiter was very kind! Downfall was from our over cooked steak, over saturated pad Thai, and we wanted to try a dessert. Waiter suggested the brownie so we asked specifically if the brownie would be hot and he said yes. The waiter sat the brownie down on the table and all of us looked at the slop on the plate of melted, frothed ice cream. The food here is good and consistent; I visit here often. However, I worry about their COVID operating protocols. I ordered curbside, and for some reason, I didn't get sent to the confirmation page nor did I get a conformation email. I checked my bank account to see if the money was taken and it was, so I called to verify my order was submitted. It took 7 minutes for someone to pick up. When I got my food, I drove off and checked the bag when I got home (my mistake) it was the wrong food. I called and came back to get the correct food and told the person on the phone and the person who came to pick up the food that I had opened the containers. She asked me if I ate from it and I said no. She swapped the bag I had with another bag. As I was checking my food, I saw her walk up to another car and hand them the food I just gave her. No inspection, nothing (I purposely didn't close the lid all the way so it looked tampered). Another person saw and told the other car as I was trying to get a hold of the manager. I told the manager what happened, then she went to the other car to talk. I stayed because I thought she would need to talk/apologize for me having to drive back and pick up my food over 20 minutes past pickup even though I was on time for arrival and offer something for the inconvenience but she didn't return after 5 minutes so I just left. I immediately went home and reheated my food to kill off anything harmful since I can't trust them to do that. Been trying to call corporate about my concerns with no answer. I completely understand why the other car was a priority but it's about perception and fairness; you were talking to me first and I shared my concern with the situation, you didn't ensure that I was happy with my experience, you didn't take into consideration the fact that I had to drive back for my now cold food, and you didn't ensure that I was comfortable eating here after you heard my complaints about cleanliness. She wasn't a bad manager and I'm sure it was overwhelming but the whole situation was inappropriate. Not a good look. read more

This is a great standby. No matter who I take here, they will find something to eat and have a good time. Safe for a dinner outing with customers you are not familiar with. I have never been disappointed with BF. I always get the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer, and I never get tired of it. Lots of choices for entrees. Fish is always a good choice. I went here for the office Christmas party and we were greeted and seated right away on a Saturday night. The staff was very attentive and helpful in our service and choices. The boom boom shrimp was awesome and I would definitely recommend it. I enjoyed my meal but the high point of the night were the appetizers and drinks. Overall a great experience. read more

I really enjoyed this location of Bonefish Grill again. I have been about four times. The service is fantastic and food has great presentation. Many people are involved serving your meal..a sign of a upper scale restaurant. I had the fish tacos and the ahi tuna. The manager came over and talked to our table for about 5 minutes to see how things were. Their fish is brought in fresh daily..not frozen or flash frozen. Great place for a date ! read more

This is my favorite restaurant! They always have a new special that I like to try. Creative chefs make DELICIOUS food. Their alcoholic drinks are yummy, too. I recommend trying the calamari, and creme brulee. I was upset that they seemed to remove the ceviche from their menu. That was one of my faves too. Note: If you plan on going on a weekend, make a reservation or you will have an hour wait. It's worth it, though. Why do you think all those people are willing to wait that long? read more

My family of 4 had a 8:00 o'clock reservations this past Saturday. Drinks and appetizer were served without issue. It all went downhill from there.... My daughter and I ordered the filet, her the 6oz., 8 oz. for myself. Both were ordered medium, but they came out well. We told our server who brought us small plates to send the steak back. About 15 mins later we received 2 more steaks and they were rare/med rare. We decided to keep them because my other family members were already finishing their entrée. They had absolutely no seasoning on them at all and so undercooked we ended up taking them in a to go box. A very disappointing experience, we will not be rushing back to Bonefish for sure! read more

Went to satisfy my lobster roll craving. unfortunately it left me less than overwhelmed. The bun was great but the lobster seemed to mostly be leg meat and lacked enough mayo for a traditional New England style. On the plus side, the service was fantastic. I had my 1 year old daughter and every single employee seemed to stop by and make sure we were taken care of. They could not have been nicer. I ordered my daughter a kid's meal, the Tilapia with asparagus. It was a great value at $5.99. Not a fan of Tilapia but this was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the asparagus was huge. First off I wanted to say my boyfriend and I never ate at a Bonefish Grill so we were not sure what to except. I forgot to get my servers name ,but she was a cute little blonde and was very knowledable about the menu. Not once did she get annoyed by all the questions we asked because we asked it all portion sizes, recommendations and pairings. I got the fall apple martini and it is DELICIOUS. Probably butchered the name ,but is okay. My boyfriend got the Snapper and i got the salmon and it was well cooked and amazing. The manager ,Sarah Miller, stopped by our table and greeted us. She was so welcoming and has control of her restaurant. Kudos to her! Overall our dining experience was flawless and the customer service was the best I had in a very long time. The food at this location is not that bad and probably deserves 3 stars. The biggest problem and the main reason for only 2 stars is that the service, price, and portions really come up short. My experience there twice had me thinking of somewhere else to go before the end of each meal. If they could manage to serve the food with half of the pretentious atmosphere I would return there. read more

We love Bonefish however I'm not a seafood lover. I go to Bonefish because my husband loves seafood. I usually have chicken. Bonefish used to serve pork chops too but they removed it from their menu. Please consider adding the pork chop back on the menu. Land lubbers need choices too! We would go here more often if they had a few more choices for non- seafood lovers.. please, please consider my suggestion!! Thanks! read more
