Appetizers were great and drinks were nicely flavored. Waitress was a sweetheart and the ambiance was very pleasant. I can't wait to return

I stopped by Bonefish in Buford while traveling back home from Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, and it was the perfect way to end the trip. Anytime there's a Bonefish nearby, I make it a point to go especially since the Birmingham location sadly closed. It's one of those dependable favorites for me. I visited the day before Valentine's Day, and you could tell the staff was gearing up for a busy Lover's Day weekend, but everything still ran smoothly. The service was attentive and welcoming. The food was amazing. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp (always a must for me) and the fish and chips, which were crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked. I also ordered a Smoked Old Fashioned, and it did not disappoint; smooth, balanced, and a great pairing with the meal.

It's been a while since I've visited Bonefish, but I stopped in for a quick lunch with low expectations -- and left pleasantly surprised! We were greeted with warm smiles and seated right away. The bread was fresh, the pesto dip was flavorful, and my rum martini special hit the spot. I ordered the lobster ravioli -- rich, comforting, and full of seafood flavor. The sauce was a little more soupy than creamy (I wished for a spoon!), but still delicious. My husband had the udon noodles with grilled shrimp and said it was amazing. The real standout? Our server, Vaughn. His service was next-level -- attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Honestly, he delivered Michelin-star service at a casual restaurant. Bonefish just earned its way back onto my dining rotation. If you go, definitely ask for Vaughn -- you won't be disappointed!

Was really excited to try this place. The 1st thing we noticed was mold on the bread plate. I had asked if I could order the sides from the filet dish but got crunchy rice instead of potatoes. The butterfish was good but the scallops were overcooked. My husband just ordered a chicken sandwich w/ fries & had nothing to say. Lastly, the restroom was a mess. The garbage cans need lids & there was water all over the floor & sink. Very unexpected for 1 in the afternoon.

Come for the social hour, lots of wonderful drinks I highly recommend the blueberry lemon drop martini. The coconut cocktail is wonderful as well. Lots of delicious appetizers all for happy hour prices

Delicious Bang Bang shrimp and Sea Bass paired with crispy cauliflower. Good service and nice atmosphere.

I had the shrimp and mahi-mahi fish and asparagus and the mango salsa with rice. The waiter was awesome.

Service was fantastic! We dined here after church to celebrate our anniversary. Our hostess walked us to our table with pleasant conversation. She asked if we were celebrating anything? We shared our reason for dining there that afternoon. That was kind of her to ask. Our server brought delicious bread, then our appetizer ( Delicious Mussels). Our meals arrived shortly after. My husband's meal was delicious (Chilean Sea bass). My meal (Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout) looked nothing like the presentation on the menu picture but I was okay with it. No big deal or so I thought. The Rainbow Trout was way overcooked ... dry and super flaky. I mentioned this to our server and he seemed to be unpleasantly surprised. I opted to not return it. I nibbled at it and just left it. Afterwards a nice dessert was brought to the table. Recommendation: yes, give it a go!

It's been a year since I reviewed this location, and I'm happy to give it another five star review! We went to lunch, with four in our party. The restaurant probably had about four other tables seated, so not too busy. Leijla was our server and she was super nice! We started with drinks, which included a blueberry lemon drop martini (which was on special), a Heatwave-tini, a glass of Riesling, and a mule. All were refreshing and two of us had seconds! They had a special on the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, so we ordered that as well as calamari. Both were cooked nicely and tasted great. Our entrees included the Blackened Ahi Tuna, the Rock Butterfish, Potstickers, and Fish n Chips. I personally had the Butterfish and it was very good. I ate every bite! My son was delighted to hear they offered crème brûlée for dessert, so he ordered that...He was a happy man!! I've always enjoyed everything I've had here and I know I'll be back again!!

I haven't been to bonefish in quite a while, and thought I would update my review here from seven years ago not realizing how much time has gone by and what a great place bonefish grill is. I recently left my job in the oil and gas business and I'm working as a personal chef, so I'm not going out as much as I tend to stay home and create dishes and I know the cost, no longer on expense account, so my traveling and entertainment budget is Very limited but I was craving bonefish and brought my son here today for a late lunch around 430 or early dinner and was happy I did. The last time I came was before 2020 pandemic so seeing the restaurant afterwards, it looks the same, the staff was impeccably, dressed, and well received as the bonefish I expect, which was upscale, prices were below the norm for dishes of this caliber, and the place was absolutely spotless. Granted we came during off hours, so we sat at the bar and had excellent service from Delilah and got a beer and a Moscow Mule, while we looked at the newer menu. I have always ordered fish at bonefish Grill, and I ordered a fillet with chimichurri sauce on it and it was the most tender delicious meal I've had out for sometime. We started with bang bang shrimp like we always do which were good as always, but something I do at home now, but the fillet was cut and served in a sauce with chimichurri, but perfectly cooked medium rare, she actually asked me the temperature I wanted and I said 130 and I think she was surprised I knew what temperature to ask for!!! yes that's rare, medium rare and it was perfect!!! My son ordered the stuffed cod and not even eat everything on the plate and both of these entrées were around $20 not $50 and we happen to be there during a time that the drinks were under $10 as well but both of us enjoyed a very, very nice Meal while the staff was building up for the start of the evening ...albeit a Monday which is usually slow for most all restaurants. I can't express how impressed I was with how the staff was quiet, but prepared and ready to work, our service was impeccable, our meals were delivered Hot and ready in a short period of time, I have forgotten how nice it really is to get a nice meal at a restaurant, and not critique it from a cooking standpoint because there was nothing I could've done different to make it equally as delicious. I have always loved bonefish Grill for the atmosphere and the quality of food and I will continue to come here a little more often to get my fix usually on some fish but now with new menu items I'm checking around the menu. Their salads are fantastic and although I don't do dessert very often. I'm sure it's up to par as well. Come on back to bonefish Grill, enjoy the atmosphere enjoy the food, it really is one of my favorite places to go. Highly recommend.!!!

Prompt friendly service. Food was warm and delicious. I ordered two appetizers for my meal and it included the warm bread and dipping sauce.

They also sent out a reminder text 30 mins before we were due at the restaurant and checked on us to make sure we were coming when we ran a little behind schedule. My mocktail was delicious and fruity. My husband ordered the Manhattan. He enjoyed his drink as well. Bread was brought to the table and we really enjoyed the sauce to accompany the bread. The sauce was a mix of balsamic vinaigrette, garlic and tomatoes. For our appetizer we ordered their cocktail calamari and boy was it good. We are used to a dipping sauce being served with it but it did not need it. The breading that was used was perfect and light. We enjoyed the onions and peppers that were lightly fried with the calamari as well. The chili sauce that was drizzled onto the calamari was delicious. For our entrees my husband ordered a wedge salad (not pictured) and we shared and enjoyed that together. He ordered their 22 oz ribeye with Oscar style. He really liked his ribeye as did I. I tasted a piece and it melted in my mouth. For my entree I ordered their August special: Summer Barramundi. I have cooked Barramundi myself and it is a favorite. This is my first time trying Barramundi at a restaurant. It was cooked to perfect. It was served with fried okra and watermelon along with a pickled watermelon rind. The pickled watermelon rind was a cool and interesting way to put a twist on taking advantage of using the entire watermelon to eat. It was really good. We went with the Cajun butter hot seasoning sauce and to be frank at first it was a little spicier than I expected but as we dug into the meal more the spice level balanced out and it was a truly fantastic and memorable meal. Miss Lyric took a while to come get our drinks order which is fine & understandable; another young lady was kind enough to grab our drinks for her but what isn't fine is not even acknowledging us even though the hostess told her we were about to get seated there. Once she came over the table, she slammed the buckets. Because she already had a bad attitude, she didn't hear us order French fries with out appetizers, which we did because after we put in our full order, we had a child with us and emphasized how we didn't want anything for the child bc she'd be eating off those fries so we absolutely did order those fries. Anyway, once we got our appetizer (wings) i asked if the fries were coming out and she rudely said NO MAAM, YOU DID NOT ORDER THEM. Okay, no problem but what's the need to do all that when you can just suggest to put the order in kindly? I'd have apologized myself and ordered some fries but Instead we said nvm and she walked away without saying anything else nor suggesting a solution. We all have bad days but that ain't none of my concerns nor fault, treat people how you want to be treated. Unfortunately bc a 18% tip charge was already added to our bill, she did not care to treat us in a proper manner. We got rubbed the wrong way and felt very unwelcome that we didn't even feel like ordering refills to give her any other troubles since it seemed like we were lol. The food which is NOT her fault was very bland and mid. Had we had been given a better run down of the menu and or had a server with a better attitude, we wouldn't have had to pay over $300 for 5 adults; she could've easily made things easier and cheaper for us in my opinion. Money is not an issue for us but unfortunately the service made our visit extremely unpleasant and will not be returning to this location. No matter who you are or how bad your day may be going, just be kind and treat people the way you like to be treated. I'm the first person to stand up for good servers bc my sister is 1 (my dad is THE best tipper too) but people like her do not make it easy for me to defend. We did not want to tip her any more than the already charged tip on the bill and we felt so bad but extra tips are earned... Anyway, very poor service overall. Maybe other locations aren't like this but what a disappointment.

Here's everything we tried: Spicy Chicken Feet Stew A generous 2-3 person portion loaded with bean sprouts that soak up all the flavorful sauce. The chicken feet were braised until incredibly tender, and the broth was spicy, rich, and incredibly addictive. The rice that came with it needs more mayo, so is more creamy and bc is not sticking together to make it into a ball. Garlic Butter Seafood Boil (Recommend ) One of their signature dishes! You can customize your own seafood boil with your favorite seafood and seasoning. Spicy Braised Chicken & Crab Stew Available Fridays and Saturdays only, with only 10 portions made each day. Lychee Soju (My Favorite , but little pricy) Served with one whole lychee per shot! Fruity, refreshing, and so smooth that you could barely taste the soju.
