Shrimp & Catfish Fillets with grits
    Candice P.

I came here at 5:00 on a Thursday and it wasn't as crowded or busy as I thought it would be. I made reservations and was able to be sat pretty quickly. Service was not exciting or pleasant as I hoped. Our server who was a young gentleman had no enthusiasm about the table or even his job it seemed. I asked how many filets came with the shrimp and catfish and he raised his hand and shows me two fingers. That's not what I want to see as a customer, I would like the server to speak back to me as I spoke to them. I ordered the catfish and shrimp plate with grits. The catfish and shrimp were good but the grits were pretty awful. They tasted old and almost if it had been sitting for a while. The party I was with ordered an appetizer but their food came out before their appetizer which they were not pleased with either. They asked to speak to a manager and it took a while for them to come to the table although the restaurant was not busy. The manager addressed the issue and rectified the mistake. Overall I would not come back as it seems they just hire anyone to be a server who really doesn't care about the job or customers. My experience was pretty dull.

I went and sat at the bar. The service was fair on this night. The drinks are over priced. The oysters were either too big and lacking flavor or to small. The gumbo was excellent and packed with meat and seafood.

Pleasant dinner visit. Some items i didn't even pictured but very yummy. My favorite was definitely the chicken with the crispy skin.

Pappadeaux's never disappoints! If you're pescatarian this is definitely a go to restaurant they have so many different options. The fondue is always great to start, but you have to make sure to get extra garlic bread. It's so creamy and cheesy and the bread is just a plus One of my favorites has definitely been the salmon. Alexander. Salmon is cooked perfect, the dish comes with scallops crawfish on a white sauce. It's so delicious. I recently had the pasta Mardi Gras and it has been the best pasta I've ever had thus far. So many amazing flavors combined. I also appreciate how they have the to go area set up where you can order in advance o line & arrive at the parking lot, you text the number with your parking spot tolet them know that you are outside and they come directly and bring you the food.

Been here several times just haven't written a review. Thought I would jog one down this time. Came here with my nephew, who insisted on coming and sat at the bar and had a couple of Mojitos were very good, but pretty pricey. I was starting to remember how pricing this place is as we got further into the meal. Started with half a dozen oysters for nearly $35 grilled, tasty, just not used to spending more than two dollars and oyster but nice presentation and service. I got the snapper with shrimp and he got the crawfish étouffée. Both were very good very rich, ended up taking them home because there was just way too much to eat. The service at the bar was good maybe not as attentive as I like as there seemed to be several people trying to take care of us, but the place is hustling and bustling and always crowded. I've loved Pappadeaux's in Texas and here in Atlanta and for me I guess that's a great place for business since I'm on expense account but over $250 for what was going to be a light dinner was just a bit steep for me and didn't rock my world as I would expect for these price points. Again great place, good ambience, I'm sure this fits a lot of people's expectations. Recommend.!!! Update. Came here again with another colleague made a reservation. Got a crappy table by the glass wall and the service sucked! With a reservation and waiting 20 minutes, then sitting at the table for 10 minutes before the waiter came up to say he'll be right with us then five minutes later we're able to get a drink order. Guys this is unacceptable. $250 for two people for dinner should have impeccable service. Teach your waiters to be more attentive. The food was good. But because the atmosphere and table, poor Service it was a bad date. You owe me one lol. By the way, I still tipped the waiter 20%!

The fish dishes are excellent and filling. If you want excellent quality fish dishes, they offer a few varieties. You can get the dishes two different ways. The menu is pretty extensive for different diners to choose amongst, from Cajun specialties to steak to seafood. The restaurant is large with a Louisiana atmosphere. Great restaurant for groups and celebrations. The wait staff is excellent. The desserts look incredible too.

The food was better than I was expecting given it's a "chain" restaurant. The server jasmine was great, she was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The food and drinks came out really slow it seemed like they were understaffed at the bar. The space is pretty big and seemed like a place to celebrate birthdays. They even had an outdoor patio, which rib perfect for spring time

I arrived on a late Friday afternoon and was able to find an abundance of parking options. The wait time was only :15min for a table and the service was fantastic from host to waitress. Very attentive and informative! Not a long wait for anything and the ambiance was great. I thought the food was very pricey especially $20 for appetizer. Ordered calamari, a salmon dish with dirty rice and roasted oysters. I wasn't crazy about anything in particular, especially the rice because it had 3 different meats (I wasn't expecting any meat). That being said, I enjoyed the overall experience. Would try again for lunch.

This has become my favorite Pappadeaux location. Despite how busy they are, I've always been able to get seated promptly. The great service that I received from the bartender during my recent visit prompted me to write the review. The restaurant including the bar was packed, but the bartender consistently checked on me. I typically get the swamp thing cocktail at Pappadeaux, but he convinced me to try the three wheel motion. The drink was a hit! The food came out in a decent time and was delicious.

Papadeaux is always a solid choice. The service was attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were clean too, which is always a plus. I ordered the Cajun Catfish Opelousas and it was really good. The catfish came in a creamy sauce packed with crawfish, oysters, and crab, topped with shrimp and served over dirty rice. The portion size was generous and definitely filling. For an appetizer, I had the mozzarella sticks. I do miss when they were the smaller bite-size pieces (not sure why they changed that), but they were still hot and yummy. My drink was the large 3 Wheel Motion, which is my go-to every time. It's strong and definitely a one-and-done kind of drink . Overall, good food, nice portions, and a clean, comfortable environment. I'd definitely come back again.

I've waited YEARS to have Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen again. So I was elated when I found out we were going for a graduation dinner. I decided to try something different this time and ordered the Pappadeaux Platter which has 2 fried catfish fillets, shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp & stuffed crab with extra fried shrimp & crawfish. It looked beautifully plated but the look was bit disappointing as it was a bit bland. I will say my server understood and graciously advised that I select something else and took my plate. I honestly expected that there would be resistance but the customer service was very good. I went with the ATLANTIC SALMON ALEXANDER Grilled salmon, shrimp, scallops, crawfish, white wine cream sauce and substituted the rice with a loaded baked potato. It was LOADED! It was gorgeously plated with healthy portions of sour cream, butter, chives, cheese and bacon. I wasn't able to enjoy with my family BUT given the circumstances, it was to be expected. The food was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed a portion for breakfast and lunch. I wasn't really a scallop fan but these are so good, the salmon is so fresh and flaky, shrimp are of a good size and just delish! I applaud the staff for working so diligently with a packed house during dinner time. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and most had enough for leftovers.

The staff, service, and food were good. We celebrated my best friend's birthday and they really made it nice. The catfish and rice were good, I always enjoy the salad.

What happened to happy hour at the bar? Was it just my location, or across the board? What happened to the pricing? Wow has it risen like crazy too. Guess it's not a surprise I haven't been here in awhile and not a surprise that I won't be back for a long time.

I recommend coming on a non peak time like weekday night if you want to enjoy a very laid back and server attentive with friendly customer service. Amy (sp?) was super helpful and friendly and brought the whole experience together. As far as the food goes, the seafood boil was fantastic! We ordered combo B and added a crab, pound of shrimp, corn and noodles a la carte and the portion was generous and enough for some take home doggie bag so I could share with my wife and kids at home. We went with the Cajun butter hot seasoning sauce and to be frank at first it was a little spicier than I expected but as we dug into the meal more the spice level balanced out and it was a truly fantastic and memorable meal. I might suggest mild or regular spice level for those who do not have a high spice tolerance. We ordered a pitcher of the premium draft IPA and we really enjoyed ourselves to seafood boil and a pitcher of fine refreshing ice cold brewskies! 5 star night, 2 thumbs up experience, and a solid 5 star for Mama's Crawfish and Wings of Suwanee!

The oysters were very fresh and large with a mild briny taste that was refreshing. We decided to try out the seafood boil as well and opted for one of the premade combo B because it had our favorite green mussels. The combo also had shrimp, snow crab, crawfish and 2 each potato and corn. Perfect for splitting. The boil was cooked to perfection. The craw came out easily and whole, the corn was sweet and so juicy it ran down my hand. I ordered a side of cream noodle to go with the boil. The noodle price is more expensive for a side but the amount is enough to split. When we stopped by it was a Thursday evening, and the inside was pretty empty, just one or two other tables while we were there. The restaurant is nestled between a few hotel/motels and not too far from the highway so I was surprised to find it wasn't super busy. I did notice they did quite a few take out orders. Inside is the standard seafood boil decor, think ocean and fishing. Service was very fast and our waiter was very nice. He kept coming back to check and see how we liked the food. We will definitely be back, i hope to try the wings next time!

Most of the reviews are stating the vibe and the food is good. I'm not sure but even when I asked the staff after many failed attempts they were apologetic and couldn't really recommend much from the menu. The food wasn't palpable! For appetizers we got the bang bang salmon egg rolls that were drenched in bang bang sauce which made them too soft and over powered the egg rolls. For an entree, I first ordered the crab stuff shrimp. EPIC FAIL! The sauce had a tangy vinegar taste and was all over the dish and I had to send it back! The linguine was drenched in sauce and over cooked, with small pieces of seafood (it could have been imitation seafood for all we know). The red snapper was rubbery and the rice was not cooked with a touch of salt and fake Cajun coloring. I honestly blame the TikTokers and google reviews for misleading me, if you like good food do not go here for dinner!!!

I ordered jambalaya with the shrimp and crab gumbo as a side. Let's start with the gumbo-first, it was a gumbo with shrimp and cold shredded crab meat sprinkled on top. That's a first for me-gumbo is a hot spicy soup; cold crab meat on top ruins it. Why wouldn't you mix the meat in with the soup? If it's me, and this is how you make authentic gumbo, then it's me. But I've never had it like this and wouldn't want it like this again. Second, the crackers. Perhaps you should check the expiration date on your box of saltines, because serving your guests with saltines that are as fresh as a piece of cardboard sitting in the sun for a year is maybe not a great addition to the soup. Again, maybe it's me. Maybe you like cutting up your amazon boxes and dipping the pieces in your soup. If so, more power to ya-it's our differences that make us interesting. And on to the jambalaya. I have had jambalaya in New Orleans, and creole restaurants throughout the country. I have made my own. My jambalaya experiences have taught me this-if you want to have bad jambalaya, this is where you have it. The chicken was so dry (how dry was it?), it was as if it had been sitting in the desert for a month. The sausage and shrimp were moderately better, but only just. The rice was cooked pretty well, but given the tastelessness of everything else, there were no flavors for the rice to absorb. I loaded it with hot sauce and even still, barely ate any of it. It was bad. As mentioned at the top, the beignets saved this meal. 6 of us got 3 orders and they were good. Not cafe du monde (New Orleans) or Huey's (Savannah) good, but a respectable beignets with lots of sugar. I did enjoy these immensely. Our server was good. Friendly, attentive. But service alone can't save a poor food experience. Everyone else was happier. Po boys were apparently good as was my lady's salmon with a lime cilantro glaze. Kids seem to have enjoyed their meals. But I am not sure I could have been more unhappy with mine.

Last time I had Po Boys and this was before I had a real po boy in NOLA. However, their po boy does a great job! I was told that I haven't had a real good po boy until I go to NOLA, but now that I've been there I can say Eagle's Landing has a good one also. The breakfast buffet is awesome! You can have pancakes and French toast with your buffet also. You just have to tell them what you want. We also got mimosas which were great. My favorite part of the buffet is their biscuits. Biscuits are my carb-unfriendly-weakness, but so good. I wasn't a fan of their gravy, but my cousin and I just added some salt and hot sauce and it was good to go. Also a little warning, their sausages are spicy :) which was fine for me but I know some people can't handle that. Bacon was crisp. I liked their regular eggs better than their eggs with vegetables mixed. And service was great even though they were really busy.
