This dumpster quality food was revolting. I ordered through door dash, the bang bang shrimp were nothing more than salad shrimp with an unpleasant fried coating. The "bang bang" sauce tasted of a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup. I also ordered the Cobb Salad, what a disgrace!!!!!!!!!! Limp greens, eggs which may have been boiled in the 20th century, old tough bacon, sour (yes sour) grape tomatoes. Oh and the dressing was a vile, garlicky chunk of disgusting goo. They didn't even have the decency to include a disposal fork. Perhaps they are too used to feeding rats!!! Terrible, perhaps the worst food I've ever had the misfortune to ingest. I mean, it's a chain restaurant so I would keep that in mind. today we ordered our meals through door dash and had it delivered. so other than the fact that it was only warm, which I expected, I have this to say: the Chilean sea bass was good. the broccoli was good. the brussel sprouts were good. I ordered a BOWL of the corn chowder and got a cup. A stingy cup. the bread, which is complimentary, was not enough for 4 people. but it was good. the mashed potatoes were good but the portion was stingy. My point is that I would never get bonefish delivered. again. whomever prepared the meals at the Daytona location was obviously not concerned with the portion size, and that is my biggest complaint. Had we been served at the restaurant, we'd have gotten more than an ice cream scoop sized serving of potatoes, and I'd have sent my soup back for the correct size or had the bill adjusted. none of this is the fault of the delivery service. bonefish needs to do better with their outgoing orders. When you are casual riding past it's not a place where you would say let's go to bonefish grill you have to hear about it or if you're choosing a place for a casual night out , date or business wise you would go there. If you're a fan of seafood this is the place to go. I didn't really like how it was set up, it's pretty small and everyone is on top of each other, the bar was the biggest thing, and it was cold in there. I had this one guy waitress who was rude and made smart remarks and and a bad attitude the whole night which made my whole party not want to go back. My wife and I recently went to Bonefish as part of a "Memory Trip" dedicated to a long lost cousin, "Larry". What a pleasant surprise. We had gone to the Sarasota location numerous times and decided Bang Bang Wednesday would be a good time to visit. From the moment we began our visit until the time we left we felt welcomed and appreciated. The service from Ashley and the visit with manager Gabbie were just terrific. The food was delicious and plentiful. What a truly memorable occasion, one we would love to repeat many times during our "Snow Bird" retreat. Stopped in on a Wednesday evening for dinner with a colleague. Have dined at a Bonefish Grill many times although first time at this one. Got seated right away as they were not terribly busy. Hostess was a very nice young lady. All good. Then... We both ordered unsweetened iced tea. Our waitress repeated the order, all good we thought. When the tea arrived it was "Sweet Tea". No problem, everyone makes a mistake once in a while. When the waitress came back to take our order we told her about the drink issue. She was quite apologetic and replaced it right away. Next she takes our order. Nothing too difficult, 2 bowls of soup, a salad and an order of fish tacos. Soup comes out first. Warm not hot. Had good flavor so didn't say anything. Next comes my fish tacos. Again warm. Good flavor but the fish was kind of mushy. My Colleague s salad comes next. He ordered a house salad with vinaigrette on the side. Full size. She brings him a dinner size Caesar. Made her aware of the mistake. Takes it back then a food runner brings out a small garden salad swimming in dressing, not on the side. We told him of the error again and he offered to try to make it again. At that point we said no and asked them to take it off the bill. I finished my mushy tacos and had to ask 3 times for an iced tea refill. Waitress then comes back and asks if we we want the check now or would we like to wait for a bit. She brought the check. Arrived on a Monday afternoon around 3:45 p.m. while still visiting the Daytona Beach area. We had never eaten at a Bonefish Grill before so we thought we'd give it a try. We were seated right away. Our waitress, Paris, was friendly and she asked for our drink order. I wanted a Cadillac Margarita and she was going to have to check with the bartender to see if they knew how to make one. I asked her to forget about it and I'd just have the Parker's Margarita as it came with Grand Marnier already in it and told her to skip the O.J. as I'd never heard of orange juice in the Cadillac before. When I asked what tequila was in it she said Sauza Gold so I asked if they could use Sauza Silver instead. The bill was charged with a $3 upcharge stating it was a Patron Rita! My gf ordered the Crab-Crusted Cod which came with two sides. She asked if one could be fries and the other a small side salad. The salad was a $2 upcharge even as a substitute for one of the two sides selected! The fries were greasy but the cod portion size was good and the fish itself was steaming hot which was good, and had great flavor with just a bit of crunch. It was perfect! The salad was also tasty and fresh. The dressing was also pretty delish. I ordered the Lily's Chicken but really wanted to try some seafood and Paris said I could have the Grilled Salmon fixed Lily's way. She did not mention there would be a $5 upcharge for this. I requested the steamed broccoli and the garlic whipped potatoes as my two sides. When my plate arrived, the potatoes and broccoli were both just barely warm. My grilled salmon was, however, both perfectly cooked and still hot! The goat cheese was luscious and creamy, with the perfect amount of wilted spinach and artichoke hearts also on top of the salmon. I tasted both the lemon and basil within the topping sauce which was appreciated and could've been a little more heavy handed on that part. Our waitress Paris never returned. The bartender, Ashley, at one point told us both she and Paris would be checking on us when the side salad first arrived. We thought that was pretty special until nobody came to ask us if we needed anything else until we were completely done with our meal. When we asked Ashley where Paris went to, she stated she had to go home on an emergency. We still saw Paris in the restaurant so not sure what that was about. Usually any server we've ever had let us know personally they were leaving and another server was taking over for them. Anyway, the reason for the two stars is due to the upcharge cost and nondisclosure, the server interaction or no interaction, the temperature and the serving sizes of the sides with the Lily's Salmon. The food itself was good, however, there are better places to dine where you get more value and better customer service. read more

First mistake don't order a steak at a seafood place but if you don't have a good option take it off the menu Bonefish. The worse $29 18oz steak ever, no flavor period, cooked medium but we needed steak sauce. The steak had more fat than meat, the worse. Ordered the sea bass and it was dry with no flavor. They offer a variety of signature side sauces but the only one we will say thumbs up to was the lemon butter. Check was over $100 and I think we overpaid by $99. Never going back, but the waitress was an absolute delight. Very nice young lady and attentive to her guest hence 2 stars. I would give her 5 stars but the food was horrible. I have always loved bonefish. The food was so delicious and beautifully presented. This particular location was not the same experience! Two of us ordered filet. It was not cooked as asked medium. It was well done. They did not ask if it was cooked right like they usually do. Fish was not cut properly and did not taste right. The rice had a strange taste and broccoli that is usually cooked perfectly was hard and crunchy. So disappointed as we raved about this place and invited 4 friends to join and had to apologize. So I have to explain why I am making this review great. I was up in Daytona Beach for business and Bonefish was near my hotel. It was a Tuesday and what I ordered wasnt fresh. Actually the manager said all pieces are cut the same size at the same day. I got the Mahi Mahi. Im telling you right now it wasnt fresh at all and whoever cooked it that night doesn't know how to cook fish. I went back on Thursday morning and I met Julia Castranova which I funny that's the last name of a DJ for 105.9 in Miami. Anyway I explained to her what happened and she said what was told to me by that manager was incorrect and that what is fresh is from the brown speciality menu not the normal menu. She apologized and offered my a refund. Whoever the manager was on Tuesday night was nice just needs to work on being honest and I'll leave it that. Julia on the other hand was GREAT. Bonefish Grill is a favorite restaurant for my son so for his birthday dinner, we wanted to try the new restaurant in Daytona Beach. It was a great choice. The decor was lovely and it wasn't crowded (albeit it was a Monday night). I ordered a white wine sangria - topped with a dusting of cinnamon that complemented the fruity beverage. For dinners, our table had the grilled sea bass, the grilled scallops and shrimp, the grilled salmon and the thermidor gnocchi. All of our meals were fantastic- prepared to suit a couple of special requests. It was all very tasty - great flavors and generous portions. The food came promptly and our waitress was a sweetheart. In fact, she is artistically inclined and as a nice touch, she made a lovely hand drawn birthday card for my son and even decorated our to-go boxes. It was more surprising to see that she was serving us from across the room while she was bar tending and still didn't know the menu. We didn't see our server once until the very end when we had to wait for both boxes and the check for over another 15 minutes. Food was okay. The steak was ordered as medium rare but it was cooked on the rarer side. Gnocchi was salty. The manager and host were really helpful and nice. They greeted us and brought out our drinks and bread. Our waitress, Karen was not the greatest and was barely attentive. To top that, the restaurant wasn't busy either. It took a long time before she came over to check on us at the end of our meal. Towards the end of our meal, she just came over and placed the check on our table and didn't ask if we wanted anything else besides getting us to go boxes.
