Family and I came here and as soon as entering were greeted and seated and a serving of fresh bread loaf and plate of olive oil brought complimenrty. We ordered the sushi grade sashimi lightly cooked and calamari. Delicious!! My son ordered a seafood cream pasta, my wife Brussel sprout salad, my other son half-pound burger and I fish and chips and while it was tasty, the thin fish "sticks" had more breading than fish and only a few fries in the basket compared to a full basket of fries with my son's 8 oz burger. I had never been to Bonefish, but we received a gift card and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was great, and had a nice ambiance. This was once our go-to place but after tonight, I'm not so sure. We didn't have a reservation so we were seated in the bar, which was ok. However, the waitress was very slow and didn't seem to pay attention to anything we asked for. I asked for water with no ice - but got a glass brimming with ice. When we got our bang bang shrimp appetizer, we had to ask for chop sticks - and when she finally came back after we were almost finished with the appetizer, she brought one set of chop sticks for the two of us. I agree with another reviewer that lots of mayonnaise and lettuce doesn't really qualify as 'bang bang.' We also had to ask for bread, which used to be a staple here. My wife ordered salmon with potatoes and asparagus. She got salmon with potatoes and broccoli, which didn't seem to phase the waitress. I ordered the pork chop and although my order looked ok, I have never in my life seen a pork chop with that much gristle in it. I got maybe four bites out of the first half of the chop and didn't even bother cutting the second half. The waitress just presented our check and never inquired if the meal was ok. Most would have noticed the uneaten expensive pork chop still on the plate. I would have complained while we were there but there didn't seem to be a manager present. In the past, we've almost always had a manager check by the table at least once but this time, we didn't even see anyone who looked like they were moving around the restaurant checking with customers. Had reservations and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. They tried to seat us at the bar and we asked to sit us at a table, we were given an attitude. Food was delicious! Ambiance was very nice. However it was overshadowed by the wait service. I have been to this location many times and have never had an experience with service like this. Our waiter was very indifferent to our group, of 6 women. When placing our order. Our food was late, many things were left out. When the bills came we were prompted to simple pay them without seeing an itemized bill. When questioned about the bill and wanted to see it itemized the wait staff was annoyed. Once the itemized bill was provided it was not correct and some checks had items that were not ordered. Amber, the manager apologized and provided all 6 of us with 25 dollar gift cards. read more

We love the Bonefish Grill. It's one of those places that you choose when you can't make up your mind on where to eat since you know you'll get great service and food. We certainly got that! Our server was hilarious and very attentive. He got steak and lobster and I got steak and grilled shrimp. For an appetizer we ordered the boom boom shrimp (one of our favorites) and for dessert we got the lava cake. The steaks came out cooked excellently and we didn't feel rushed when we ate. Everything came out perfectly timed so that we weren't still trying to eat our appetizer while I food was getting cold on the table. We hadn't been to Bonefish in a while we used to go often. They used to do call ahead when I called they said I could make a reservation for 8 pm I wanted 7. I accepted it we went early arrived at 7 the place was fairly empty . We were told we had to wait until 8 there were so many empty tables we can't understand why the wait . We sat at the bar decided just to eat there . We noticed the bartender "washing " the glasses I use that term loosely . As he put in water and took them out never washing them with any thing . These should be in a dishwasher . I ordered the cod fish it looked like the ones you get at Long John Silvers (which we don't eat ) it was horrific . This place has gone down hill . My first experience here was just okay, but I've been back a couple more times and it's really surprised me. The bang bang shrimp is good, juicy and with a kick. I've had salmon with the butter sauce as well as with the pan Asian and they're both delicious. We've also tried the lobster and the fish and chips. The lobster was especially good, very thick and juicy. My only gripe is the side of asparagus, which costs extra and came looking pretty sad. SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!! We arrived about 5:45 pm on a Saturday night (11/9/24). The bar had maybe 10 people who had already been waited on and was over 50% empty. We sat in the bar and the waitress came right away. She took our drink order and we waited for our drinks. We asked about bread which I wanted with my wine which was customary at Bone Fish and she said ok. The bread never came and we asked about 20 minutes later and she said someone else was supposed to bring it. We still didn't get the bread and our food came. I still wanted bread with my wine so we asked again. She said sorry she had another table in the main restaurant. We finally got the bread and never saw her again for the remainder of our meal. My husband would have ordered another bourbon and I would have asked for another pour of wine but she never came back - not to mention the water glasses stayed empty and the dipping oil which came with the bread depleted with half a loaf left! The neighboring tables had attentive service so I don't know if it was just our waitress who had too many tables or if she was flat out just a bad waitress. When she did come back we asked for our tab. She said sorry she knew we were frustrated and offered us a free dessert which we declined. She asked if we wanted a box for our leftovers and we said yes. We waited on the boxes (someone got our food from the table) but the boxed food never arrived. I don't know where the waitress went. My husband tipped her 18% against my wishes (she did mop up a glass of water I knocked off the table which she had set to my left inches from the table edge instead of to my right) and we left without our leftovers which never came back to the table! Bonefish has become my go to spot now for serving quality fish and seafood with consistency. This was my second trip and I've found both occasions to have my dinner prepared to perfection. They start you off with fresh baked ciabatta bread and olive oil to dip it in. Both visits I ordered the pecan Parmesan crusted rainbow trout with Au Gratin potatoes and it's truly been a delightful treat for dinner. I find myself reminiscing of a five star seafood restaurant located in the Gulf with every bite. On Tuesday, they have a full course dinner special that includes salad, entree w/sides and dessert at a very good price. It's been a while since I've been to Bonefish. Last night a friend came into town, so I picked one of our usual hot spots. We had an RSVP and since we got there a little early we headed to the bar for a drink. My friend got a classic Martini, and I ordered a watermelon martini. It's was so refreshing for such a hot day! For starters, we ordered the bang bang shrimp classic. It never goes out of style. They need to bottle the sauce. Dinner was the Thermidor Gnocchi, Sweet lobster chunks and tender shrimp sauteed with golden-brown potato gnocchi, mushrooms, peas, and fresh tomatoes tossed in lobster-sherry cream sauce. I've never had it before and it was absolutely delicious! My friend got the shrimp and scallops in a Teriyaki type sauce that she loved as well. Me and my girlfriend came in Thursday afternoon, it wasn't very busy. The bar area has great lighting. Ordered their special Harvest cider and it might be a little too good because my girlfriend drank the rest of mine. As an appetizer we had the tempura tuna and it was pretty good. The sauce on top has good flavor and the tuna was very mild; not too fishy. We ordered the swordfish and pumpkin ravioli; and the cod imperial. To preface both were absolutely fantastic. The ravioli was amazing and sweet. It paired awfully well with the very mild and savory swordfish steak. Definitely not too fishy. The cod imperial had a rich, cheesy scallop and shrimp casserole that helped add great flavors to the cod. The cod in itself was full of flavor and not dry at all! Jasmine rice is a perfect addition and the broccoli was a good choice. Man oh man! I have been to Bonefish several times but today they get the review and five stars for customer service. If you haven't checked them out, you must! They are offering family bundle meals starting at $30. You have your choice between chicken, salmon, mahi mahi, shrimp tacos or you can do a combo of mahi mahi + shrimp or Lily's chicken + shrimp. You also get a salad, one signature side, bread and cookies. We went with the salmon, house salad, garlic mashed potatoes and chocolate chip cookies. I also ordered the bang bang shrimp appetizer which is soooo good! It says it feeds 4-5 people and they give you plenty. My pic does not do it justice. That was the after photo after 5 people had already eaten and just the bread had just arrived. So let me tell you about the service. I did a carry out order and by the time I got home and fixed everyone's plates, I noticed the bread was not there. My family loooovvveesss bread and were majorly disappointed. So I called up there to let them know that it was missing, I dreaded going back up there and when the manager said they would bring the bread and pesto to my house, I was ecstatic! The guy arrived 15 minutes later with bread and pesto in hand. He said his name was Rick and was the owner/ manager of Bonefish. The tables were spread out for social distancing. Bang Bang Shrimp is a crowd favorite in our house and we always start our dinners with it! It is a large portion and a great combination of spicy and sweet chili sauce. (Mind you, I have a pretty "delicate" pallet... Not too fond of spicy, I LOVE the BBS!) We were given a generous pour of Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling ($7.4) and Beringer White Zinfandel ($6.3) - moderately priced I might add. I ordered one of the dinner specials - Rhea's Grouper ($31.9) and was not disappointed. This grouper was topped with sautéed spinach, jumbo lump crab meat, and finished with a lime tomato garlic sauce. If that sentence alone doesn't make you want to lick your lips... You should! Amber the manager saved the evening ... She is awesome. My wife and I visited the restaurant for my birthday. The restaurant was very busy and the server we had was ... Well let's say he needs additional training ... But Amber was beyond perfect she picked up the gauntlet of a couple (my wife and I) that was ready to leave the restaurant and her attention along with the delicious food caused us to forget the beginning of the evening completely. As a previous reviewer mentioned, "what happened to the excellent service?" The food was fine. However food is only one part of a good restaurant experience. A welcoming atmosphere is key. Overall, our experience was disappointing. Our evening started with a glass of water being spilled and no one offering to help. We took care of the table the best we could. Finally a staff person helped clean up the water left on the floor. Then our bottle of wine, which took a while to get to us, was served by putting the bottle on the table for us to open and pour ourselves. We had to ask for appetizers. Coffee was not offered with dessert. Basically our server didn't care. We are a pretty easy group to please. We had a good time because we were with good friends. We will not rush back. read more

Bonefish Grill to me is like a less exciting version of Red Lobster. I live no more than 5 minutes away from here, yet I always forgot of its existence. I just never was appealed to come here until someone else wanted to. Bonefish Grill is better than what I expected. We came on a Saturday night and this place was INSANE, so keep that in mind. Like, if we wouldn't have made a reservation there would have been no point. The atmosphere is upscale. It's dimly lit and I find that nice. Our service was okay, our server did what was needed and that's enough to make me happy. It is very loud in the inside, though. The food and drinks are pretty good. I ordered a limoncello cocktail and loved it so much I had a second round. For my meal I got the shrimp tacos and they were good.
