This was my first time at Bonefish. The bread and herb oil were honestly the highlight of the meal. The shrimp were good, but over hyped in my opinion. The fish and chips had so much breading my Mom took it off to eat the fish. It was very hot, fresh, and crispy though! If you like heavy breading, this is for you. The grilled trout was very tasty and so were the mashed potatoes. I wish I would have tired one of the sauces on the side for the fish. Honestly, it was just mid for the price for me.

    Fresh, fresh, fresh!

For a chain restaurant that offers seafood this place never disappoints... the mussels yesterday were astounding! Cooked to perfection & absolutely stunning sauce... Service was great and as always, the ambience was welcoming and comfortable! This review is being written by a girl who grew up on the Atlantic Ocean!

Delicious food. I always get the bacon wrapped scallops and the filet. Can't go wrong.

I love this place. We always have such a good time and the food is great. We went for Valentine's Day weekend and the service was super.

Fabulous starters and a good menu. Never had a bad meal here. Good atmosphere although crowded on weekends.

Here for a quick getaway. Looked up potential places for dinner one night and came upon Jesus…read more(pronounced hey-soos) Latin Grill in Mishawaka. Reviews were great. Looked like an interesting place. Goodness, it was NOT disappointing! Vibe inside was eclectic, colorful, and fun. Our server was fabulous! Friendly but not obtrusive. Knew the menu well. Did everything with a smile! We started with their fresh made guac and the best freshly made tortilla chips we've ever had in a restaurant. We shared the verde salad...spinach, arugula, chocio corn, white beans, grilled avocado slices, jicama, pepitas, honey garlic dressing. Kinda exciting to get a salad unlike any other! So good! Hubby had the Chochinita Pibil...yucatan slow-roasted pork with all the fixings (look at the menu for details) and accompanied by their freshly made, banana leaf wrapped corn tortillas. I had the Peruvian Street Chicken, stacked high on the plate with, among other things, olive tapenade and the most delicious charred lightly smashed potatoes. It was HUGE and easily could have served 2-3 people (needless to say, we doggie-bagged mire than half of it!). Again, unique and taste-bud exploding flavors! Hubby tried, and enjoyed, their hose brewed Mexican lager which he says was crisp and malty. I cannot fail to mention the beverage I tried (on server's recommendation), the Mole Dream Mezcalita. Spicy. Cold. Good to the last savored sip! Will we go again? YES! Might even bring some friends for a quick road trip!

What a fantastic find! We had reservations but decided at the last minute to eat at the bar…read moreinstead--and it ended up being one of the best decisions of the evening. We arrived fairly early, which gave us the opportunity to chat with our bartender, Aurelia. She was exceptional--knowledgeable about the menu, thoughtful with her recommendations, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping us put together a great meal. I started with the Mole Dream Mezcalita, and it was unlike anything I've had before. Sweet, savory, smoky and beautifully balanced without any one flavor overpowering the others. We shared the elote, which was outstanding on its own, but the house-made tortilla chips completely elevated it. It's such a simple detail, but those are the little things that distinguish a really good restaurant from a memorable one. My husband ordered the Seafood Cataplana and was blown away by both the presentation and depth of flavor. Aurelia suggested adding rice to soak up the sauce, and she was absolutely right--you don't want to leave any of that sauce behind! I had the Cochinita Pibil, and it was equally impressive. The pork was cooked perfectly, and the combination of flavors was complex, interesting and beautifully balanced. For dessert, we once again trusted Aurelia and ordered the tres leches. WOW. Rich, delicious and the perfect finish to an already exceptional meal. The service deserves its own mention. As the evening progressed and the restaurant filled up, it was impressive to watch the team behind the bar. They operated like a well-oiled machine, constantly helping one another and anticipating what needed to be done. That kind of teamwork translates directly into the guest experience, and it showed. Even as the place became packed, the level of service never slipped. And Aurelia was simply outstanding from beginning to end. We've only eaten at one other restaurant that immediately came to mind as comparable--The Mission in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. That's a pretty high bar for us, so we're thrilled to have found somewhere that delivers this kind of experience much closer to home in Fort Wayne. Creative cocktails, beautifully executed food, thoughtful presentation and genuinely exceptional service. This wasn't just a great dinner--it was a great dining experience. We will absolutely be back.

I had the short ribs and wife had the chicken puff pastry. The dessert was next level. Wife had the cheesecake which was a basque... but very much like NY style. Onion Soup Gratinee - $11 - Needed salt and wasn't very flavorful. 2/5 stars. Chorizo and Shrimp - $22 - This was easily the best dish. Cooked well, good flavor, and a decent portion (probably because the price is so high). 4/5 stars. Chicken and Leek Puff Pastry - $26 - The pastry was lacking. It was soggy, weird taste to it, and just not pleasant. The filling was also mediocre. Don't get this. 0/5 stars. L'Entrecote de Paris (Steak Frites) - $45 - The steak was chewy, the fries were over salted. For $45, this was not enough steak, whatsoever. Not like it was a good cut either. It's a rip off. 0/5 stars. Pan Roasted Duck Breast - $36 - My mom and I both ordered this, and we could combine both of our dishes to make ONE duck breast. Portion was horribly small. Never have I ever been given HALF a duck breast. The sauce wasn't good either and it was broken. 2/5 stars cause the rest of it was cooked fine. The birthday dessert was a scoop of ice cream and some stale cinnamon pastry thing. This was wildly bad. If the flavors were on point, the prices would be understandable. But the flavors were bad, the prices are expensive, and we waited a very long time to get our food. We couldn't get into a different restaurant that night (it was a Saturday night on move in weekend), but this one we could get into, and now we know why. Don't go here.
