This was a nice family style restaurant. The food was good overall. The service was all very polite. The restaurant itself is very busy and had a constant flow of customers coming and going. We were sat near the door and every time someone would come in an arctic blast would blow across our table freezing everyone. A divider separating the front waiting / pickup area would help keep those eating protected from the elements every time someone opens the door. My family took me here for my birthday last night. The service was very good, friendly and attentive. But, I was so disappointed in the food. The salads had frozen lettuce. I ask for another one and it was not currently frozen but was in past. My son got the Brussel sprout that were way over seasoned. (Salty). The stuffed cod has a cheesy sauce that was over cooked and oily. The cod was cooked well, so I took sauce off. My husbands special was the only thing that was cooked well. It's been awhile but we wanted a decent 'no fast food' late lunch so we picked Bonefish. Two reasons it gets 4 stars..the prices are not outrageous and the menu allows for a good range of options for medium appetites. Neither of us wanted a full entree, so we were planning on a mix of appetizers. Our server Sarah made a suggestion of trying the beef and ginger potstickers since we already had tried bang bang shrimp on a previous trip. So Sarah was the second reason we give Bonefish 4 stars. Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our 40 Th wedding anniversary. We have celebrated many occasions at Bonefish-they always brought out a nice complimentary dessert. After we were done eating, our waiter brought our check and a bag that he said was cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful meal at Bonefish. That being said I would like to share a couple of observations. My meal came with two sides, I selected the asparagus and I didn't realize the $3.50 charge was an up-charge (I thought it was the a la carte price). We all went to Bonefish today for Brunch. I wasn't even aware they had Brunch and had only been here for dinner. We had Bang Bang shrimp as an appetizer ( they should change itnto an amuse bouche and just auto charge on the bill...literally every table in the dining room we were in had it...one table had 4 orders) if you habent tried the bang bang shrimp its essentially fried shrimp with a light coating and a spicy creamy sauce- its good and very popular. I recommend it My son had the grilled trout. My daughter had grilled scallops and shrimp ..my wife had the lobster roll and I had ahi tuna with chimmichuri and some eggs and au gratin potatoes. My ahi tuna was seared rare, and the chimmichuri was great- garlicky and loaded with fresh parsley, eggs were perfectly poached and the au gratin potatoes were very creamy...better than I expected. My sons grilled trout was topped with a grilled lemon and some compound butter...it was very good. Seared and crispy on both sides with great flavors. I did not try my daughters scallops and shrimp but they looked wonderful. My wifes lobster roll was a miss...over seasoned and didnt have buttery lobster flavor...it was clobbered with the seasoning and whatever they used to tie the lobster salad together. If you have never been to a Bonefish they offer cibatta with pesto oil for the bread and it is delicious. The brunch menu was good...and there are some good value options on it....wagyu beef burger with egg was only 11...traditional eggs benedict was 14. I had a sauvignon blanc with my meal that was very good...it was 7 a glass. Our server was outstanding..she was attentive and didnt push hard to turn the table. Thubgs arrived when they should. The kids were draining drinks and she kept up without a problem. I have reviewed Bonefish before but it is gone so this is a rereview. read more

Came here for the bang bang shrimp everyone was raving about, and it was pretty good!! But the other dishes were not that great.. i ordered the crab crusted fish with a side of crab fried rice it, it was just fried fish with some crab chunks sprinkled on top. Same with the fried rice, bland fried rice with 4 small chunks of crab tossed on top. The service was great tho!! read more

The last time I went to Bonefish I got Lily's chicken. The chicken was great, spinach was great, but the broccoli was overcooked. The waitperson brought another round of broccoli and still it was overcooked...like mush overcooked. The cost of the dish was $17, so I was disappointed to say the least, but the manager came by and offered a free appetizer card for our next visit, so at least she tried to make things right. So......Tonight (1 month later) we thought we'd use our appetizer card and get a meal before a movie. It's date night!! Well, I took a chance on my dish again and ordered the Lily chicken. I love broccoli, so I bravely ordered that, and garlic mashed potatoes, as sides. Ooooh nooo! Not only was the broccoli overcooked, but the mashed potatoes tasted like they were out of a box and then frozen, and then microwaved within an inch of their lives. Left them and the mushy greenish brown goop that they called broccoli on the plate. The chicken was amazing! Lol, two different cooks?? My recommendation is if you are a vegetarian don't go here. If you don't mind paying $17 for a great piece of chicken then this place is for you. Well, we told the manager on duty our story about the overcooked broccoli this time (and the last time) and she said she was sorry and offered to get us more broccoli. Um...no thanks...(duh!) Well the bill came and not even a discount or offering of a dessert or anything. We wont be returning. I'd think twice before spending your time or money in this establishment. read more

Liked this Bonefish Grill outlet. While its location seems a bit incongruous...being at the end of a cheesy strip mall that faced the much less busy Edison Road instead of the busier Grape Road, and being located next to an Asian restaurant that seems to complain about the parking spots...it still was very good. Being a large corporate organization (over 200 restaurants) with just a few franchises, this Bonefish Grill offers all the usual food items that the other outlets do. We shared Bang-Bang Shrimp appetizer (you have to...4 stars, nicely cooked and the sauce has that tang you'll remember), a Crab Cake appetizer for one of our party that was eating light (4 star, very nice crab to filling ratio), Bang-Bang Shrimp Tacos (4 stars, same tang) and a Caribbean Cobia fish (once again 4 star, very nice and it comes with a Mango Salsa). The wine is a bit pricey for what you get, but they do have a nice selection. This was really a very nice dinner and we will come here again. Remember that you can also use your Outback Steakhouse gift cards here, since they are both owned by the same outfit. read more

I visited Bonefish on Saturday, February 16 with my boyfriend to celebrate Valentine's Day. I brought along two gift cards that I had, one for $40 that I received from my daughter for Christmas, and another gift card that had a balance of approximately $5.50. We sat in the high tables in the middle of the bar area and we had a very nice dinner, drinks, bang bang shrimp, and wonderful service. When the bill came, it was around $83 and I gave the waiter the gift cards and told him to let us know what the balance was. When the waiter returned he told me that the $5.50 gift card went through but the $40 gift card said there was no balance. I was astounded because I just received that gift card! He told me that he tried to process it three times and it showed up zero each time. I didn't know what to say but he told us that we could take the gift card home and look it up and see if it was activated and/or look up the transaction history. I said that we would go ahead and do that. My boyfriend ended up paying for the whole meal and the waiter asked if he wanted me to discard the $5.50 gift card. I said sure, go ahead. He gave me the $40 gift card back and we left. When we got home around 1030/11 o'clock at night I looked up the gift card online and found that the waiter had given me back the $5.50 gift card and threw away the $40 gift card! I was very upset! I really wanted a chance to check out what was going on with that gift card. I don't want to accuse anybody of any wrongdoings, but everyone I have told the story to said it sounded very fishy. I called Bonefish the next day and talked to a gentleman named Sage and told him my story. He told me that the gift card was probably thrown away and there was no way to recover it. He told me the only thing he could really do for me was comp me a couple of bang bang shrimps. I was very disappointed that I wasn't offered anything else or at least an effort to look into the matter. My daughter is very disappointed because she gave me a gift that I was never able to use! Always check the balance of your gift cards before you go out and then request your gift cards back when you use them! Lesson learned! read more
