5-star all around best apps (the bang-bang shrimp and sashemi), cocktails, and twin lobster tails done to perfection! My wife and I made reservations there for our 40th anniversary and they outdid themselves despite being in standing-room-only mode. The reception staff was fantastic and seated us promptly and attentively and considering it was a crowded Saturday night I was expecting a lengthy wait. We started off with a couple of pomegranate martinis that were excellent with appetizers that were to die for (bang-bang shrimp and a ahi-tuna sashimi, and P.S. order the large portion of tuna because it is simply that delicious) served with just the right sauces to compliment them perfectly. After another round of martinis and some wonderful conversation with our outstanding waiter (Patrick), we leisurely readied ourselves for our twin lobster tail dinners that were sweet and perfectly cooked, accompanied by outstanding sides (I had the potatoes au-gratin and slaw and my wife had the garlic mashed with sautéed spinach that was incredibly delicious (all remarkably moderately priced). Not normally dessert eaters we did opt to share a custom created bowl of fresh raspberries and blackberries with a wonderfully flavored vanilla ice-cream and fresh whipped cream that Patrick offered to have whipped up for us with a cup of coffee sweetened with amaretto. The food was perfect, the service was excellent, the manager (Adam) visited with and chatted with us about our anniversary and even our travel plans. This was one of the finest meals my wife and I have shared together, made ever so much more enjoyable by the pleasant and highly attentive staff, from the moment we entered until the time we departed. How they can deliver such great quality food preparations and service when there wasn't an empty seat in the very large restaurant is an absolute testament to the manager (Adam) and his well-trained staff who made it all look easy. And when they topped it all off with a wonderful complimentary treat, all we can say is you must visit this place soon and no doubt you will want to visit often. I would recommend this place for occasional dining to people who enjoy seafood. The atmosphere and decoration is great, the service was fast, but faulty at times, and the food was okay. Today I will be talking about my experience at Bonefish Grill. Me and my family dined out there on Saturday night. When we entered, I noticed how crowded it was. Luckily, we had a reservation, so we were served quickly. There were two seperate sections, a bar area and the dining area. Bonefish grill specializes in seafood, so dining room is decorated with fish murals. We were escorted to the table. We asked for a booth, since we saw empty ones, and they didn't let us sit there. Once we sat down, we had fresh bread and drinks was immediately served to us, which surprised me considering the crowd. Our waitress, Laura, was nice and friendly, as were all the workers there. She asked the adults about the drinks but didn't bother asking kids. Both of my parents wanted water, so Laura gave me and my sister water too. We had to stop another waitress and ask for lemonades. There are two menus, a kids and a regular. The kids menu came with crayons and we could draw on the table, since there was big sheet of blank paper on top of the tablecloth. We ordered our food soon after. On the menu, there was mostly seafood, but there was a variety of it. I ordered Cod Fish and Chips for $18, my sister asked for fish strips from the kids menu, both with a side of french fries. My mom picked rainbow trout with a side of potatoes, and my dad chose cod, with jasmine rice and green beans. We also had complimentary bread with olive oil and herbs. It was really fresh and hot. We ate in a second and even asked for another one. I like fresh baked bread, it was my favorite part of the meal. Our food was brought ten minutes later, we all got it at the same time. My dish had four big fish pieces covered in breading. I tried my mom's Potato Au Gratin, which is potatoes mashed with cheese. They were ok. The portion was big and could not finish it, which is good because some places don't give enough food. Overall, the food was pretty good, but I have had better. read more

Totally neglected by our server and management at the edgemont pa location last night. These people make ok seafood but they CANNOT cook a steak to save their lives. My medium steak was shoe-leather and forget trying to get a refill of a drink or butter pats. No manager visitation he was eating his dinner with my server and they could care less about us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck if you go there....don't say I didn't tell you so! read more

This is one of my favorite places to go on a date. They have great drinks, and very skilled bartenders. Most servers are decent or better, and the restaurant is very clean. One of the most likeable things about Bonefish is the romantic atmosphere. Its about a 30 minute drive for me but well worth it. I would recommend bang-bang shrimp and rainbow trout. Although we are always impressed in all categories, last week during an extremely busy hour, the service from our waitress Alysa and the Kitchen manager Jason was commendable. Not sure what all the hype is about. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it's just average. They have a decent beer selection, and good bread. I've gone with the crab cakes on multiple occasions and they always seem to be undercooked. The inside spills out all over. I'd rather spend the same money on a non-chain. read more
