Everything was amazing! oysters were GREAT! they're delivered fresh everyday. The mussels are great. They're cooked in a very tasty lemon butter sauce and topped with tomatoes. It looks good, but doesn't taste as good. with soy sauce soaking with white rice, which make the rice quite salty. The tuna doesn't look that fresh. The ahi tuna has sasemi on it, and it comes with wasabi and soy sauce. But somehow, I think the two don't work well together. Grilled salmon with mango salsa is ok. The sauce trends to be a bit plain. Not very impressive. Service , ok. They do come a few times to check out the food. I have been to this location numerous times, and haven't had a bad experience. We ALWAYS order their bang bang shrimp as an appetizer, its even better when they have their $6 Wednesdays special. I've had the "imitation" bang bang shrimp at other restaurants, but it does NOT beat the original. I made reservations online for my husband and I, and was seated on time. Our server was super friendly, and always stopped by to top off our waters and make sure we were ok. I had an issue with my lobster being too dry and luke warm, told the server and she took it back immediately. The manager brought over a freshly made lobster for me and apologized. I came here with some family for dinner on Tuesday night. They were surprisingly busy when we arrived at around 6pm which is definitely a good sign for a restaurant. Personally, I ordered the grilled sea bass with lemon butter and chose whipped potatoes and coleslaw as my sides. In my opinion the dishes weren't bad but they weren't amazing. For the most part the food was correctly cooked (fish was still juicy, sides cooked properly), but at the same time the food was a bit bland. I was definitely hoping for some more flavor especially out of the fish. Overall, I would say that the food was OK; nothing in particular was bad. Bonefish Grill is a chain restaurant but does not feel like one. They are very busy, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Either make a reservation or expect a very long wait. The service is attentive and every time I have been the wait staff is knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. I've never understood why someone would go to a seafood restaurant and not get seafood. It's like ordering a burger at a Mexican restaurant. The menu does have some non-fish options including steak, chicken and a burger. But go for the grilled fish. There are options for sauce- I like the chimichurrie. Entrees come with two side veggies. All of the appetizers are good and we always get the bang bang shrimp which has a little kick but not too spicy (they serve it on quite a bed of unnecessary lettuce ). The deserts I've tried are also very good. The creme brulee is rich and delicious. read more

I finally made it in for dinner although it was Tuesday night and the restaurant was full except for three (3) open tables in the main diningroom. The hostess was friendly and sat me quickly. My server was knowledgeable about the specials and the main menu. She (Heather) recommended the dinner for two special that included a three course meal minus a drink for $55. I ordered the crab encrusted cod off of the regular menu. The fish was bland, nothing stood out it was flavorless like chewing plastic. It was disappointing how the cod was rubbery and tasteless. I love fish and this is a great place to get it. I have had the grouper, the cod, the salmon and the trout and all were excellent. They left the bones in, not sure why but with their name I probably should have expected it, I am taking a star off for that because I don't see the point with good chef skills you can filet but keep skin on.. Pro tip, sub out the tortilla chips on the dip for a loaf of their fresh bread and pesto...you will thank me (and if you are extra like me have a glass of white wine with it!). I've been visiting here for many years and the food and service has always been great! On Mother's Day our party of 6 arrived at our reservation time and we were promptly seated. In less than a minute our server arrived with water and menus. Our drink orders were taken and in less than 5 minutes these arrived with hot delicious bread All of our meals arrived at the same time and they were hot and delicious. We were seated right away by a friendly host and then waited on by an extremely polite and helpful Kristina. Kristina provided recommendations on entrees and drinks. I started off with a winter cosmo, which was sweet and refreshing. My wife ordered the Chilean sea bass and I ordered the Norwegian salmon. The entrees came out quickly, and both of them were absolutely delicious. For sides, I ordered the truffle mac (heavy and tasty) and the steamed broccoli, both of which were good The portion sizes were just right. For dessert, we had a brownie with ice cream. In short, we had a positive experience at Bonefish and we will return. The food was a 4/5, and Kristina took the experience to a 5/5. So a good place, for a chain restaurant, with a good menu selection specifically on their seafood options, but its amazing how your dining experience turns on poor and inexperienced service. And that's what we caught - a poor waiter, that had to be told to bring us things - water glasses, appetizer plates, and appetizer serving spoons, and was gone for vast stretches of time, And on top of all that, when the appetizer did arrive, the main course show up 2 minutes later - basically all at the same time. And then making things worst was asking 3-4 times if the meal was alright. So Bonefish is a popular place - you need reservations for diner, even on a week night, or expect to wait for a table. They also cater to larger corporate parties. It can be loud. The food is typically upscale and elegant. It can be a romantic place, The house salad is a good options, their citrus vinaigrette pairs well with the mixture of nuts and vegetables. We also had the ceviche - which was different, although felt the fish/shrimps were pre-cooked, as there was not that much of a lime taste. Worst experience ever. They messed up my food, had to ask THREE employees for the manager before one came to our table (the last time had to actually leave the table and walk to the host stand), and then after the chef made it right we were completely ignored by our 2 servers (one was training). The chef was kind enough to send a dessert to our table despite the fact that we didn't want a fat piece of key lime cake but that was nice. However we continued to be ignored by our servers and it was nearly impossible to get drink refills and even ask for our check. Once they brought our check I was shocked to see they had actually charged me twice for my meal and subsequently refunded one. Did they do that to make me think they took care of my meal even though they didn't? The proper thing for them to do would've been to just automatically remove the charge for my messed up meal or just leave the original check as is and I likely would've just paid and left. However, the funny math caused more confusion and time to be wasted so after complaining once again they removed the cost of my messed up meal and I paid and left a $5 tip. The chef did the right thing and recooked my meal properly and sent us the dessert we didn't want - that was the right thing to do and I don't have an issue with the food situation. I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi with the caper and butter sauce instead of the citrus glaze and jasmine rice. The fish was overcooked, the jasmine rice was like sticky rice in a clump on my plate and the caper and butter sauce was tasteless. Capers generally have a distinct taste. I could not tell what I was eating. Whoever put that jasmine rice on my plate knew it was not edible. I am surprised the waiter did not notice. In the meantime, I looked around to see if our waiter was near. Minutes passed until I had to ask another female waiter if she could get our waiter. Minutes passed, finally the waiter came to the table and I told him about the rice. He asked if I wanted something else and I said the garlic smashed potatoes. Well minutes passed and again, I had to ask another waiter if she could ask my waiter to bring the potatoes. He finally brought them and they were tasty.
