    Patty Melt with onion rings

This local bar/restaurant came highly recommended by a couple of the wineries we visited in the area. Truly an old school roadhouse, complete that day with a few motorcycles out front. You walk in to table seats to the right and bar seating to the left. Since it was still a beautiful fall day, we chose the fenced in patio. The menu includes a few burgers, sandwiches and a giant hot dog and few appetizers. Burgers can be ordered alone or with fries or onion rings. Each price listed. The burgers were a good half pound and cooked properly to order. Decent flavor. The crew thoroughly enjoyed the house Bloody Mary. The reduction in stars was due to the slow service. It started with waiting more than 15 minutes to just place a drink order. Then an hour to get our food. We arrived at 1:30 pm, I didn't feel they were that swamped to take that long. The server was nice, but being there for over two hours put a damper on the experience. There's plenty of parking in their own paved and gravel lots.

The margarita was fantastic!!! The burger was very good, but a bit a salty for me. The server was awesome! She clearly is happy working here. A little drama added to the evening with the bartender throwing out a couple! Don't know what happened, but the patrons applauded.

What a great setting, off the beaten path. Biker and people friendly mountain style. The burgers here are the draw. But in my opinion, their fried chicken is the bomb. Order 10 wings to take home and snack on later. The service was great! I had a whiskey, the pastrami on rye, she had red wine and a burger on a roll., and we took the chicken home. The chicken comes with 4 sauces. Bar b que, Buffalo, honey mustard and ranch. Roadhouse! Luv it. 5 stars. Check them out

All around good food, good service, good atmosphere. This place checks the boxes. I was impressed with the bar tender / server. She was friendly, attractive, personable, and efficient. She seamlessly worked the room without a hitch. The tables were clean, the condiments clean, and the soda was served in a large cup. The burger was juicy, fresh, and the caramelized onions are always a great option. The fries were an ample serving. All around a good experience. With dining inside and outside...this establishment is a good choice.

I don't get the hype over this place. Maybe it's the aesthetic of it being a "biker bar" but I wasn't impressed. Inside is extremely dark but decently clean. We were given our drinks quickly but the food took almost an hour. It was not crowded at all. There were 2 people at the bar and a group of 4 people outside who already had their food when we walked by. My son and daughter really enjoyed their BLT's, my husbands Patty Melt was just mehh and my pulled pork sandwich was disgusting. It was full of fatty pieces, hardly any sauce and my bun was soaked and soggy from the grease. I will give credit to their top shelf Bloody Mary, it was very good! Wish it was a little more spicy but still one of the better ones I've had in awhile. This place has a certain clientele which can be a little off putting to some. Thankfully my family has a thicker skin so from the Trump flag we purposely Chose to sit under, stares and snarky comments about building the wall, it didn't faze us and we found it amusing. Please understand I'm not rating this place based on its political views and patrons, otherwise I'd give one star. The food wasn't that great and service was painfully slow for the amount of people inside. Saving grace was the BLT my kids devoured and the blood Mary's. Would we come back? Not for the food but I'd endure the patrons for another one their bloody Mary's.

Really good. Food. Great service! Fine as can be patio seating and terrific drinks. My new go to place when going through Placerville Ca.

Pleasantly surprised!…read more We stopped here on a whim on our way back from South Lake Tahoe, after a round of golf. Walked in, not expecting much, but at least some decent food to feed our hungry belly's. It was Saturday evening around 615ish, front of house was running around, but when she spotted us, showed us to our table, gave menus, and apologized as it might be a minute before our server would be able to take our orders because it has suddenly gotten busier than expected (large place but only about 1/4 full, but with 2 large groups, one of which was just seated before us) she came back with waters while we looked at the menu. Once our server came she was polite and took our drink order, promising to be back to take our food order. Understandably it took longer than usual to come back, so another man came to take our order. He apologized for the wait and said he would be happy to take our orders. We think he was the manager or possibly owner, really nice gentleman. We ordered the tiger prawns and Brussels sprouts appetizers, I ordered fish n chips, my husband ordered the rib eye with Mac n cheese and our friend ordered the salmon. The Tiger Prawns and Brussels came out first and the tiger prawns were amazing! 5 large tiger prawns, a couple pcs of toasted baguette, and in a type of white wine garlic Alfredo sauce type. The sauce was perfection, as I dipped each bite of prawn and soaked the accompanied bread. The Brussels were just as amazing, fried to have a nice crisp to it, but not soaking in oil, so they must've been fried in the perfect temp oil or something, and the glaze was just right (a lot of places just drench them in glaze as they're sitting there soaked in oil, but not the case here!) The ribeye was cooked very well (medium rare) and the hubby thought the salt level was PERFECT. It was a little salty for me, but I don't like a lot of salt. My husband almost always orders a good steak when available, and he thought it was great. The accompanying side of veggies were great too! Heavy on the garlic, but we love garlic so we thought it was perfect. The fish n chips were good, fries were ok, but not my style. They were more like shoe string fries, but that's their thing and a lot of people like that style. The tartar sauce was surprisingly good, and not just that cheap store bought stuff a lot of places tend to give. Friend with the salmon said it was good and ate it all. The gentleman that took our order forgot to add the fish n chips, but quickly rectified it, apologizing and bringing out some fries for me to munch on as the fish was getting cooked. Not a big deal to me, as I was already happy with the other items we had. He also came to our table once we were done and chatted with us for a bit, which was very nice of him. Overall the food was pretty good and would recommend stopping here if you have a chance when you have some time to relax while you eat. The staff are all nice personable. Sorry I didn't get to take pics of everything, as we were all really hing

Make sure you get there early for the most amazing food in NORCAL. Food: The menu has a wide variety for everyone. On this day, we chose the Carne Asada Fries. Hands down the best any of us tasted. There were four of us and we all shared it and all equally satisfied. It's a meal on its own. Do not pass this up! We each order sandwiches; Turkey Club and Pastrami Reuben. Both with sweet potatoes. We asked if we could share the sandwiches. They quickly and very friendly said, of course. All four of us enjoyed our 1/2 sandwiches. One of us stated they were the best he has tasted in over 20 years. Every one of us was exceedingly pleased with our meals. We will be making this a regular stop on our wine tasting journeys.
