My appointment time has come and gone. No acknowledgement that I'm here. I left the building the last time I came because I was ignored. I may do it again. Donors are your life's blood (pun intended). This location used to be such a joyful place to come and donate. I donated for years. Staff was friendly and appreciative. Now they are rude and evasive. I left again. Never to return.

I talked to TJ yesterday and he was really funny and good at what he does. The nurses here always follow up with me after a bad experience (pull being too fast, needle moved around too much, etc.). They provide me water and a snack after appointments like this, and have even called me around when I said I'd be home to see if I'm feeling better. You can't teach someone to care truly care about their clients like this, so it's amazing they hire people who are compassionate and just good. The only catch here is the wait time, but that's to be expected at any plasma center you go to. You wait when you donate plasma, blood, an organ, whatever. I don't mind it and I take the wait into consideration when scheduling my appointment time, which I am thankful people do here. I have been to other centers and even with a similar line, it takes significantly longer because they do not schedule staff according to how many people will be there, as they have no idea. Another thing: coupons are personalized and sent to your email now. If you are returning, you'll get one for extra pay after about 4 months. The staff was not able to tell me that. If you want to know specifics about pay- speak to a manager. The staff does not know about these things and has assumed and given me wrong information.

The Manager seemed to wait until my donation was completed, had already promised to provide $75 for my last promo donation, but only provided $68, so she didn't follow through, and this was twice after I had asked her directly. All I know is I'd Not recommend this donation location or try BioLife. Avoid this location. Avoid this place altogether and go to BioLife.

Today, I had a 7:30a.m. appointment. At 8:10a.m., I was still sitting in the waiting room and had not even been checked in. This isn't an isolated incident. The Parker location routinely runs behind, which makes it difficult to donate when you are trying to fit an appointment into a workday. The staff members are pleasant and the Parker location is convenient, but donors are giving their time as well as their blood. If the center is going to actively ask people to donate and provide scheduled appointment times, it should staff the location appropriately or communicate delays clearly. If you have the flexibility to wait 45 minutes or longer, this location may still be convenient. Otherwise, I'd recommend scheduling at another location.
